What do you get when you cross a young and obnoxiously optimistic poet with a sickly whimsy and dreams bigger than her apparent ability with an older man who is charismatic beyond belief, quite the opposite in most regards and takes photographs to relive the past as much as he can?
With almost everything in common except for their age and life trajectories, Faith and James grip tighter to the present moment than they ever have before. Faith tries desperately not to be sucked away with her thoughts of the future, James does his best to not be lured in by his reminiscing of the past.
This story will explore how a woman in her early 20s navigates through a first love heartbreak into a new way of thinking, her mind opening as she meets an older man whom she feels an immediate bond with. They each have different dreams, one's in the future and the other's in the past, but oh how perfect everything is in the present.
As a lover of classical literature and poetry, you will read original works that I deem as integral to the story, wishing to introduce a new audience to the beautiful world of poetry.
