Downton Abbey footman Thomas Barrow is a horribly misunderstood human being, mainly because he is a gay man living in early-twentieth century England. His life suddenly makes a drastic turn when he finds himself attracted to a woman... but not just any woman... Lady Edith Crawley, his employer's daughter.
