Taken place right after the events of Httyd 2
it has been a year since the Tragedy of Stoick The Vast during the war with a foreign tribe of Dragon Trappers under the name of Drago Bludvist and his deluded Dragon Army and his very own Bewilderbeast Alpha Dragon.
Hiccup Horrendous Haddock The Third has now just been named the New Chief of The Island despite the struggles of his new role as chief his friends and family are their for him and with some odds he never ignore his duties as the Dragon Master in training new Riders and Dragons to live together on the Island through the academy.
And it all happen in just one year however his role as the peace keeper and dragon rider he help his long lost mother Valka in seeking Dragon Hunters and Trappers that were still capturing and selling innocent Dragons and with the help of a former Dragon Trapper Eret Son of Eret He helps them out seeking nearby Dragon Trapper Ports and freed trap Dragons that seem to be ready to send to Drago's old Dragon Army and trappers through the Northern Alliance despite being a year they believe Drago and his Bewilderbeast are still out there and waiting for a chance to attack the Archipelago however a new threat is approaching Midgard And Hiccup and the Riders must choose a path that will determine the survival of humanity against this new and powerful threat.
