Daytmoos station was engineered by the elusive Mantis, the most dangerous race in the known universe.
For the newly activated A.I. an amusing extended vacation on Earth was now within reach if you could get the application approved. La'Rio had been on Earth for six months now. An anticipated affair with Keane had caught her off guard.
She had lost her heart to a human. Or what passed for a heart, somewhere in her stew of ninth gen chips and code.
But her time on Earth was up. La'Rio was needed. Daytmoos had been quietly drawing plans against the Mantis, and La'Rio, one in a series of special A.I., had been created with a technological edge that the citizens of Daytmoos had hoped for. She had been built with formulas created by the Mantis. Their own technology would finally be used against them.
From fifty thousand lights away a stream of tachyons from Daytmoos station delivered the order into her retinas: LEAVE EARTH
