"TAKING A STAND"After being bitten by a genetically engineered spider, Peter Parker has the proportionate strength, speed and agility of a human spider. Along with the ability to adhere to any surface, a precognitive spider-sense that warns him of danger and a pair of mechanized web shooters, Peter fights against evil as a costumed vigilante. Set during the decade of the 1990's, this is a Generation X version of The Amazing Spider-Man story. However, the owner of Oscorp Industries has returned in the twisted and hideous form of the Green Goblin. Despite the change in appearance, his lust for power remains unchanged. The maniacal madman wreaks havoc on New York City, leaving a path of destruction in his wake. His endgame remains the same as the Green Goblin seeks to perfect the Genetic Potential Formula by obtaining the equation for Decay Rate Algorithm. Peter Parker remains heartbroken after missing his date with Mary Jane Watson at the Class of 1992's junior prom. They seem like two star crossed lovers who will never be able to get together. Even worse, the recent appearance of the Green Goblin has put the people he cares about in grave danger. The devious villain knows that Peter Parker is Spider-Man and is obsessed with getting revenge upon the teenage hero who has turned him into a grotesque monster.…
