The Hero Needs Rest... ~A BOTW Fanfic~
I know I keep publishing this and unpublished, but I finally have a proper plot Idea now. I hope you enjoy it and I will not be unpublishing this so yea. This is my own version of BOTW~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ganon was finally defeated, Link suffering many wounds. Zelda promised Link that he wouldn't have to do anything else, but live the rest of his life in peace, and the only quests she'd be tasking him with would be easy and quick like delivering things or sending a message. Link accepted, happy to retire in a way as Hyrule's knight and savior. But a hero's journey is never technically over. Zelda gets a dream of Ganon's return, and she and Hyrule are the victims she fears. but the Princess of Time from hundreds and thousand years ago appears, and tells the Princess of the Wild what to do. She's nervous, but calls for Link who isn't pleased to be doing this mission by some dead princess, but doesn't mind after taking a small quest the Hero of Time once took to gather gems to open the Temple of Time long abandoned to get an item needed to travel back in time and stop Ganon from being the evil Demon King Hyrule knows him to be. But what happens when Link does go back in time, suffering injuries, instantly meets the target he was supposed to destroy, only to meet him as a teen nearing the age of 17? What will Link do knowing that Ganon wasn't always evil, but was cheerful and a bright young prince? How did Ganon become evil? Link couldn't kill this bright young prince, but maybe he could steer him to do good? This plan is good, but he suffers in the end... What happened was what drove Hyrule's end, only to be born anew.…
