A Wonderlandian Pastiche.The citizens of the metal planetoid of Heartland go about their lives like clockwork. Every tick for every tock. Matthias Haddler, ex-hatter now clockwork expert, has been one of those invited to give his expert opinion on the world's first clockwork person: Lise. Yet from the beginning Matthias has his doubts that Lise is what she seems to be. Or perhaps it should better be stated that she seems to be just as much the woman she is trying so hard NOT to seem to be. And when he finally gets to speak with her alone, she tells him that this wonderland isn't real? What neither of them know is that whether or not this world of gears is what it seems to be, it is based on a far bigger and more fantastic world just waiting for them to fall into...Part mystery, part sci-fi, part fantasy, and with a little romance, the twists and turns are endless, especially once the self-proclaimed Pantheon begins to see that the world they created is crumbling all around them. Creatures that are more than mere fantasy know more than they do the danger they have put themselves into and for everyone involved.…
