Marie-Anne's POV

"Where's his room?" I ask her. I don't care about his work, but she is right he needs to know how I truly feel. He needs to know the truth.

"It's on my way, walk with me," she says. I walk with her to his room so I can tell him the truth, he needs to know the truth. "There it is," she says pointing at one of the doors. She knocks and we stand there for a few seconds waiting for an answer. She knocks once again and no one answers. "Um... he probably has his headphones on, go head," she says. I give her a smile and mouth her a thank you.

I open the door and enter Tyler's room. I look around and he is no where in sight. I am about to leave when I notice that his room has a balcony. I walk there and see him standing there enjoying the view below, just as Tyanna had predicted he has his headphones  on. I could hear the beat of the song he is listening to from where I am standing by the door. He isn't dressed formally as he was at dinner. He has sweatpants on and a tank top. I guess he is used to the weather because it is pretty cold to me right now.

I stand there for a minute or two observing what he is doing, deciding that I've seen enough, I walk up to him and tap his shoulder lightly. He startles turning around quickly. He sighs when he notices that it is me. "Is everything okay?" He asks turning his music off and taking his headphones out.

"Yeah," I say.

"Then, what are you doing here?" He asks.

"I can't come here? Is there a rule that states that girls cannot be in boys' room later than seven?" I ask in a jocking manner.  He chuckles ignoring me. "I just wanted to talk," I say.

"About?" He asks staring into thin air.

"Us," I reply after much thought.

"I wasn't aware that there was in us needed to talk about," he says. I chcukle at the words he used. That's what I said to Dylan when he told me that he couldn't stop thinking about me and that we needed to talk about us eight years ago. It's funny how it seems like yesterday.

"We really need to talk," I tell him.

"I'm listening."

"Ty, you know I care about you right?" I ask. Okay, maybe that isn't really a good start. "I just don't want to- I want to- well, the thing is..." I shut up not knowing what I am trying to tell him.

"Anne, have you been talking to my sister?" He asks. "I'm sorry about her, she's a little," he makes a round circle around his ear to say that she is crazy. "I know," he adds.

"You know what?" I ask him.

"What you're trying to say, I'm not stupid despite what many people may try to tell you. I have a big heart, but not stupid. I'm too nice for my own good, but not stupid. In case you didn't know, it's okay to love without expecting anything back."

"It isn't," I say. How could that ever be okay? It's not okay to love someone who will never feel the same way. It's not fair.

"It is, if you only love to expect love back then, it is not love," he says. We both sit there quitely not saying a word. Okay, this is awkward, I hate silence. Just when I think I am about to lose my mind, Tyler starts talking, "you've been up all morning, you should go get some rest. It's not healthy for the baby to be on your feet all day," the baby, the baby, did he really have to bring it up now? Apart from the occasional nausea and tiredness, I almost forgot that I am carrying a baby.

"Yeah," I say faking a smile, I stand there looking down below.

"You don't know your way back, do you?" He asks. I nod my head awkwardly laughing. He joins also, "I'll walk you," he says. We leave his room and start walking down the familiar hallway.

"How do you remember where everything is?" Wait, nevermind you grew up here, of course you know where everything is."

"I actually didn't grow up here, I only came here sometimes during the holidays and summer," he says. "Now that I think about it, I don't know how I remember where things are."

"Instincts," I say.  We reach the door and he stops. "Thank you."

"You're welcome, so where do you want to go first tomorrow?"

"Big Ben," I say. I had done a research on it in high school and I guess I fell in love with it from the report. That clock makes it look even more beautiful.

"Just sleep tight, good night."

"Good night," I say as I watch him leave. I open the door and get in taking off my clothes to relax.

''''''''''

"Can we go by the bell?" I ask Tyler as we stand outside Big Ben looking at it.

"Yes, although, I don't see why you would want to see a big bell," Tyler says.

"Ty,  she is American. They think everything here is cool," Tyanna says typing away on her phone.

"That's because it is," I snap back. Both Tyler and Tyanna looks up at me shaking their head no. People never appreciate things when they get to see it every time. Tyler thought the Everglades park in Florida was cool. And that place is not that cool, I guess it's because I have a chance to visist it any time I want. "I don't care, I still want to," I say grabbing Tyler's hands to go inside.

AN

Short Chapter and Crappy.

I just wanted to update because I haven't in so long. Hurricane Irma had cut/take my power. BTW...hope everyone who was in the path of the hurricane is now safe.

Dylan will be back next chapter. Marie-Anne will be going home. I just miss Dylan, and he MIGHT find out the truth. Comment if you think it's about time.

Check out Loyalty or Love? if you haven't...
