It took quite a while to finish showering the kids. After shampooing he had to detangle the hair and it was all a mess. The kids cried until they were tired, so after he finished combing their hair he dried them and then put them to bed.

The muddy kids now looked clean, and cute. While the kids were sleeping, Sun Baohai quietly changed their clothes. And since the baby had been sleeping since he finished eating Sun Baohai wasn't able to shower him, so he just cleaned him with a wet towel. He would wash his hair tomorrow.

Sun Baohai was tired, but he was also a kind of clean freak, so he couldn't sleep in this environment. He first went to throw away all the water the kids bathes with. He then took the broom and swept the house and washed the dishes. He took down the cobwebs and then washed the dirty clothes of the kids.

It took him about an hour to finish cleaning the house. When he finished he showered, and went to knead some dough. He planned to make dumpling soup for dinner. When he finally finished it was the hour of the goat (1 pm- 3 pm). He took a thirty-minute nap before he went out to ask for some information.

He didn't plan to stay out for too long because of the kids so he could only go to the house closest to him and that was Aunt Lin's house. Aunt Lin was Lin Cai's wife, who was known as Uncle Lin. They had two sons and were one of the donkey owners of the village. He needed to go to town tomorrow and he had to take the carriage, plus he needed to leave the kids somewhere, and Aunt Lin was the ideal person right now. He took two persimmons and an egg and went to Aunt Lin's house.

It only took him about five minutes to arrive at the Lin Family house. After he knocked on the door, it was opened immediately. It was a  middle-aged woman who opened the door. She was wearing a light gray hanfu and he hair was put into a bun with a single silver hairpin. From what he got from his memories, this is Auntie Lin.

"Hello, Can I help you?" Aunt Lin asked as she looked at the skinny teenager with curious eyes. This was the first time she saw such a good-looking kid. Though he wasn't an out-of-this-world pretty, he was still a rarity in this village.

"Hello Auntie Lin, my name is Sun Baohai, I am Jinhai's wife. I stopped by to talk to you about something. I hope I am not disturbing you." Sun Baohai responded politely as he gave Auntie Lin the things that he had brought.

"Oh, so you're Jinhai's wife! Come in! No need to be so polite. Jinhai grew up with my sons." Auntie Lin said as she pulled Sun Baohai into the yard. As soon as they went in, she sat him down on a stool and asked him what he needed help with.

"Well, I need to go to town tomorrow so, I am going to need a person to watch over the kids, plus I wanted to reserve a seat in advance so I came to ask you for help." Sun Baohai answered politely as he put the things he brought on the table.

"Oh, that's fine. I can watch the kids for you, and for the ride reservation you can just give me two wens, I'll tell my husband about it." Aunt Lin said as she took the things he brought, and thanked him.

"Okay, no problem." Sun Baohai agreed as he gave Aunt Lin the two wens.

"I won't keep you, I know you have kids to take care of. If you ever need help, don't hesitate to come to me." Aunt Lin offered. She liked Sun Jinhai's new wife. She didn't mind babysitting kids, she really didn't. But it was the attitude of the parents that always made her reject them. They would just drop their kid here rudely and tell her that they were busy and expected her to take care of their every need forgetting that she was just a regular farmer like them. Just because her family made some extra money they expect her to help them whenever they ask for help, but this ger knew basic courtesy so she was more than happy to help.

"Okay, then I will take my leave now Aunt Lin." Sun Baohai almost bowed as he bid his farewells forgetting that this was not needed to be done when speaking to other villagers.

While going back to his house he met some of the villagers on the way. He thought that it was a good idea to be acquainted with some of the villagers in case something came up later. So after a few greetings, he quickly made his way home.

As soon as got home, he got ready to cook. He quickly minced the veggie stuffing and then made the dumplings. There was a little bit of salt and a little bit of spice left at home so he planned to use them for the broth. After the broth was ready he put the dumplings in and let them boil.

When the dumpling soup was ready, the kids woke up. They looked much different than earlier. Their little faces were clear, and their good features could also be seen. When the kids got up they were surprised to see how clean the house was. They were used to the dirty house filled with trash and cobwebs, but now their house looked so decent.

When they went to the hall, there was a pot of warm soup. This was the first time they woke up to hot food. This was also the first time they ate such good food twice a day.

"Kids, come and eat. I'll go wake up your brother to feed him. Qiqi and Xia Xi make sure to help Xiao Wan eat okay?" Sun Baohai instructed as he went to pick up the crying baby.

The kids obediently nodded their heads and sat down to eat. Sun Baohai hurried and wiped his hands on his clothes as he made his way to the room to get the baby. As soon as he got inside he saw the baby crying as he wiggled his body, as tears rolled down his cheeks and not out of his nose.

"Shhh, Don't cry baby. Were you scared? I'm sorry okay? I won't leave you alone anymore." Sun Baohai coaxed as he gently rocked the baby to calm him down. Since he worked at a daycare, especially a prestigious one, he learned a lot of technics to calm down crying kids, so the bay was quiet after a while.

'Nuo Mi?'

{Yes Host?}

'Do you have anything for babies, including a feeding bottle?'

{Yes I do. It's a whole set though and remember host I have everything you need because I'm here to help you with your necessities, you just have to complete missions to get points.}

'Okay, nice to know. How much is it?'

{Two points.}

'I'll purchase it.'

{Please collect your purchase.}

Since there was nobody here except for the baby, Sun Baohai collected his purchase. The set included one standard baby bottle, one tommee tippee cup, one baby place, two baby spoons, one bib, a teething toy, a pacifier, one brush, one comb, and four disposable diapers. He had to admit, all this for two points was worth it. The things were pretty modern, and he may be asked some questions, but it's not like they can force him to tell them where the things are from, but then again one of the bottles was made out of steel, and the other one of glass which both existed these days so he might be able to escape suspicion.

He fed the baby half a bottle of milk and went to make some puree for him. He made some carrot puree to feed the baby since they didn't have that much fruit. To his surprise, the baby ate all of it and even liked the puree.

After feeding the baby, he ate his dinner and then went to wash the dishes. He made the kids clear the table and clean it. After he finished washing the dishes, the bell in the village rang, which signified that it was a new hour. So now it was the You hour (3 pm- 5 pm).

The sun wasn't as high in the sky anymore but it was still pretty sunny. He decided to take this leisure time to work the two mu of land they had behind the house. As he was changing into his farm clothes, which were the worse clothes he could find, the kids came and asked him if they could go play at their friend, Song Xia's house.

"Sure, just make sure to be back by the beginning of Shu hour (7 pm- 9 pm)." Sun Baohai instructed.

"Okay, mommy." The kids excitedly responded as they hurried to go.

As soon as they went, Sun Baohai took some rags and put them outside for the baby to seat and play on while he farmed. Which he was doing a terrible job in. There were leeches and worms in the field and they kept climbing on his feet making him stop every now and then. Plus the tools were super heavy, even if he knew how to use them, he couldn't do so because he couldn't even lift them up.

After toiling for two hours he finally finished turning the soil and it was now finally ready to plant. The seeds that were given to him included melons, strawberries, tomatoes, carrots, bok choy, lettuce,  and sweet potatoes. Sweet potatoes had seeds? Why didn't he know this? Why are so many root vegetables given to him in seed form?

'Nuo Mi!'

{Yes host?}

'Why do I have sweet potato seeds? Is that even possible?'

{No host, but this is easier for us systems to process and make so we just do it that way. Most of the root vegetables from my shops will be given to you in seed form.}

'Oh, ok.'

Only one of the two mu was planted. He did the veggies first because they were more important, and he planned to do the fruits tomorrow. He took the baby in and put all the farming tools inside. After a while, the kids came back.

He gave all the kids a wipe-down, fed them some milk, and sent them to bed. The kids were used to sleeping at this time so they fell asleep as soon as they were put into bed. Sun Baohai felt sweaty, so he quietly took a bath outside and then made his way to the kang. Unlike the kids, he couldn't sleep.

They were basically poor and had only about a tael in store.  He needed to come up with an idea and fast. He majored in art and economics back in his old world. He liked art, but at the same time, he wanted to have a paying job so he forced himself to take economics. His talents included painting, making art, and making DIY stuff, but the question was, how would he use these talents in this world?
