Some people aren't loyal to you.

They are loyal to their needs of you. Once their needs change,

so does their loyalty.

For the family dinner, The brothers were very excited since they were getting the attention they deserved from their father. Family dinners, trips, movie nights, etc. Mrs.Kim gave them the love and the attention that a mother would give to her children. They were very happy.

And about Y/n, she was on her usual. But her relationship with BTS was growing. They were now closer than before. Her business was smooth as butter and her life was rather calm than fast, busy like before. But there was one thing that bothered her, this was too calm. She was right, it was just too calm. She was prepared for the upcoming storm even though she didn't know if it was a storm or an earthquake. But she was prepared and was also making predictions about what could happen.

She was thinking about new enemies in business or maybe new mission?? Or maybe something bigger??

She was thinking a lot, a lot. Yet.......

She never counted for that one thing to happen.

Y/n was on her bed, laid down while facing the ceiling. She was just not getting nice feeling. She felt something was wrong. Her gut feeling was saying that something was going to be wrong. She just doesn't felt right. She was like that on her bed for hours, staring at the white ceiling of her room.

She flinched when she heard a knock on her door. She calmed down herself and went to open the door. She saw Mrs. Choi there.

"Ms. (Y/N), Mr. Kim has called you down for dinner.", the maid informed her.

"Right. I'll be down in a minute."  (Y/N) said with a smile. Mrs. Choi bowed. As she left, Y/n closed the door and went to bathroom to wash her face and hands. She cleaned herself up and went downstairs.

As she entered the Dining room, it took no time for her to realise how heavy the atmosphere was. She knew something was wrong. Not all family members were there yet. She sat at random sit, Mr. Kim spoke, "How was your day at school, dear?"

She smiled and replied, "it was quite good. I learned many new things. I am one day closer to graduation." She maintained her extra personality in front of everyone with her tower of honey words.

She observed everyone's face. Jin's face was normal and showed no signs of worries. Hoseok and Namjoon were talking, it wasn't related to the heavy atmosphere. Yoongi was observing too, in the hope of finding the reason of the heavy atmosphere. Y/n saw him and felt like he was also curious about the different vibes of family dinner.

She looked at the couple, she didn't mean to eavesdrop nor interfere in their personal talk, so she just read their facial expressions. Jong-Hyun looked like he was trying to assure JI-Su about something. JI-Su was stressed. She was angry, it was in her eyes. Her eyes were full of anger and sorrow.

From Y/n's thinking, there were many reason when person feels anger and sorrow at the same time but at this moment she could think of these three reasons,

First, they've been betrayed,

Second, they've failed or

Third, when someone has defeated them in a way they could not accept. In short, someone has hurt their pride.

She looked away from her mother because she knew if she stared at her for too long, it would be awkward. In the mean time all The family members were on the table. Maids started to serve them dinner.

When Mrs. Choi was serving curry to Ji-Su, she accidentally dropped some on her dress. Mrs. Choi started apologising.

"Can't you see old woman?! you ruined my dress!" Ji-Su shouted out of sudden. Whole family was shocked by her sudden outburst and the elder woman was in tears. (Y/N) was shocked at her mother's behaviour. "Do you even know how much this dress costs? It is costlier than you whole existence, you dumb bi-"

"Mom!" (Y/N) interrupted, "This is no way of talking to someone!" she exclaimed with a serious note.

"Then what's the right way, huh? should I praise her for the mess she has made?" Ji-Su asked loudly.

"This isn't even much of a mess, mom. It's not like you cannot get it cleaned. Humans make mistakes, calm down a bit."  (Y/N) stated, staring right at her mother. She did not care if her mother was older than her. It does not matter who does it, wrong is wrong.

"Can you just stay out of my matter for a bit, (Y/N)? I don't need more problems." Ji-Su voiced out, frustratedly rubbing her temple.

"(Y/N) dear, it was just a bad day at work for her. That's why she is like this. Mrs. Choi, I apologize on her behalf. You can go." Jong-Hyun tried to calm down the situation.

"But does that justify her treatment towards others? Her problem is her own. She cannot just lash out on anyone like that." (Y/N) argued.

"Wait! why the hell do you think it was my fault? she did it. She spilled that on my dress then what's my fault? I pay her to serve me. She is not here for charity. She works to feed her family. There's no space for mistakes." Ji-Su argued back furiously.

"What happened at work, Dad?" (Y/N) asked Jong-Hyun.

"She had a presentation to do in front of our potential clients. They weren't much interested so other representatives were talking somethings about her skills." Jong-Hyun answered.

(Y/N) laughed hearing the reason, "Really? Just because of this silly reason you are going crazy?" she asked her mother, "You really have no right to be angry. The only one who really deserves to be angry is dad. His reputation among other competitors was tainted due to your stubbornness. It's clearly your fault. If you weren't competent enough, then there was no need to go around whining for a presentation."

"Are you in your right mind, (Y/N)?" Her mother asked her in a rude tone.

"Of course, I am. I ain't the one who is screaming madly now, am I?" (Y/N) responded with a sly smile. She knew she was being rude. But it had been a long time since she had argued with someone and besides, she was having fun humbling a person who was floating on the ninth cloud due to sudden solvency which wasn't even theirs.

"You b*tch." Ji-Su said. "Aren't you too much out of your line? Know your place, ungrateful piece of s*it. I was the one who picked you up from that trashy place and gave you a new life. Be grateful."

(Y/N)'s eyes darkened at the mention of the orphanage where she had spent the earlier years of her life. It was a heaven for her. The people were amazingly nice towards everyone, and every single child was raised with so much care and love. It was not even near to a trashy place. She loved that place and the people there.

"And what place do you hold in this world, huh? Without me you are nothing. I am the head of the accounts team at Kim enterprise, not some cheap worker at a random company. You owe me." Ji-Su yelled.

Jong-Hyun and the brothers widen their eyes at the mention of AITECH as a random company. (Y/N) smiled lightly. "Oh, really?" She laughed, "Sure, I am grateful for your kindness Mrs. Kim. How much money do I owe you then?"

Ji-Su gritted her teeth. "Should've disposed you off a lot earlier before starting my new life."

"Yes, you should have. It's not too late to be honest." (Y/N) said mockingly.

Ji-Su had enough and then, she slapped the young girl. "You are not my daughter anymore. Go live somewhere else with that pride of yours. That too if you can do it without being a leech."

This hit (Y/N) where it shouldn't have, her pride. Does she think that I cannot live on my own? she scoffed.

"Sure. How about I leave from your life now?" (Y/N) proposed an idea.

"Oh, that would be grate. Please leave from here!" Ji-Su said as she pointed her hand towards the door.

(Y/N) shrugged and left the room whistling, her posture pretty relaxed as she walked out with her hands in her pockets.

"What the hell were you thinking, Ji-Su?!" Jong-Hyun exclaimed her wife with anger. He was furious as his wife had lost her sanity. He wanted to say something from the start, but he did not want to argue with her wife in front of his daughter.

ji-Su looked at him wide-eyed and said, "Honey," she said in a quiet voice, "Is it because of that girl? She was no one. You think that she was a very nice child but no, she wasn't. You don't know her enough, but I know her. Sooner or later, she would've broken this family apart. She had spent her childhood in a filthy orphanage." She put a hand on his cheek, "She isn't a nice person, she never was. You don't know how much sufferings I've gone through just to give her a good life, yet you can't see a bit of gratefulness in her tone, do you?"

Jong-Hyun grabbed her hands and took it off his face, "She is a child, Ji-Su." He said in a disappointed voice before shaking in head in disapproval. He glanced at his children once before leaving, "I need sometime alone."

Jimin almost rolled his eyes at the ongoing drama in front of him. But he also knew that Y/n was right. No one in the room was unknown to that fact, even Ji-Su knew it. But the only difference was, everybody could accept the truth except her. She couldn't see her daughter talking back to her, it hurt her pride.

"Honey!" Ji-Su yelled in annoyance. She walked away, following her husband.

When both the parents had left, Jin laughed, "What a dramatic fight, wasn't it?"

Namjoon snickered, "Indeed."

"A load of crap, indeed!" Taehyung joked.

"The great thing about this is the fact that you spy was correct this time." Yoongi said, mocking his brother.

"At least, now we know who to trust and who not to trust." Jungkook commented.

"True. Now let's console (Y/N), shall we?" Hoseok said.

"Yeah, let's look for her." Jimin said getting up.

On the other side, (Y/N) was crying in her room. She could not believe that her mother just abandoned her. Was she over-reacting again??Was it all her fault??

She may be the CEO, one of the Best Agent of her agency or the most feared assassin but she couldn't handle when it came to family, it was one of her weak points. She never knew how to deal with the wrongs of her loved ones, so she would just go on and say what she wants to. After the fight, she would just manipulate them into thinking that they were wrong, and she was sorry for behaving rudely.

But right then it was so overwhelming for her. She couldn't think straight. Her mind was clouded and most importantly, she was exhausted. She was exhausted by everything. She wanted a break from all this drama. She wanted to handle things her way, without any restrictions, but at the very moment, she was unable to. Therefore, she felt frustrated. She was against the person whom she had loved the most, and she felt miserable at the very moment.

Was she getting too emotional??

Yes, she was and that was the reason she couldn't think straight.

She was just a mess at that moment. She was not any CEO nor agent nor an assassin. At that moment she was just a vulnerable person who needed a warm, tight hug from someone. She needed someone to tell her that it was all just a bad dream. So, she could just wake up like nothing happened and greet her mother a good morning, hug her and have a nice morning chat with her.

She was just thinking about what her mother said, she was thinking about leaving them so they could live a peaceful and happy life like any perfect family. She tried but she couldn't stop her tears. She just couldn't handle it. She knew she was weak. And she didn't liked it. Her brain was not processing correctly, like it used to. And she hated it. No matter how much she tried to distract herself, but she couldn't.

"AH!!!" Ji-Su grunted, pulling her hairs, "Why can't you just listen to me!?"

"Do not yell at me." Jong-Hyun warned his wife. Ji-Su had tears brimming her eyes. Her husband was furious at her, only because of her daughter. The hatred she had held against (Y/N) only rose more.

(Y/N) washed her face with the cold water. She knew she needed to calm herself down. There was no benefit in taking any actions without calculating anything. She looked at herself in the mirror, "Even the strongest have bad days, I guess." She joked to herself staring at the reflection in the mirror. "And bad hair days too." She chuckled before fixing her hair.

"Enough brain. It's time for you to start working again." She said before taking a towel and wiping her face.

She laid down on the bed. Staring at the ceiling as thousands of thoughts swarmed her mind.

"Finally, It's my descending arc, I believe." (Y/N) laughed, "The climax's going to be fun."

"It's time to liberate my soul from the leash."
