Your exams are in a month and you've been preparing hard for it. Not only you, the boys have been doing the same. Specially Jungkook, he gets so little sleep these days. Your step brothers and Kai have been yor saviors. You missed many classes and lectures, so Kai has been giving you the notes and Namjoon helps you to cope up with the parts you do not understand. Jin, despite of his busy schedule and exam, has been taking care of you, such as giving you regular snacks and reminding you to take breaks break. Yoongi and Jimin helped you and Jungkook with the pending projects. Taehyung and Hoseok have always been there when you lacked motivation. And lastly Jungkook, both of you have been helping each other by giving each other random tests.

Now, you just completed revising science and were happy. Getting up and keeping your books aside you turned on your phone.

You heard a knock at you door and then someone entered. One unexpected person.

"Yoongi? Wassup?"

"Namjoon told me to check if you completed the syllabus of science, which includes revising it."

"Yup, I just did."

He came and ruffled your hair. "You must be tired, right?"

"Not really."

He chuckled. "Alright, come for dinner."

You followed him, entering the dining hall you saw a place empty. Scanning all the members one of them was missing. "Where is Jungkook?"

"In his room, he had been working his ass off for this exam-" Jimin said.

Jin then interrupted Jimin. "Could you bring Jungkook, Y/n? He didn't eat lunch either."

You nodded and went towards Jungkook's room. You entered without Knocking, just to see a heartbreaking scene. Jungkook was sitting in the desk, his head in his hands and elbow on the desk. He was crying, sobbing. You approached him and hugged him, he flinched.

"It's alright... I know you're tired and stressed."

He didn't say anything.

"You're gonna do great."

"What if I fail? I would disappoint everyone."

"You wouldn't fail kook.. And even if you do no one would be disappointed because you're trying your best."

"But Y/n if I fail-"

"It'll not be the end of the world.." You looked at him and smiled, while he looked at you with a gaze you never saw before....Something, very weird. A fire in him. Something, you can't just figure out what.

"Damn you guys- what are you doing? Kook- what happened?" You broke the hug and looked at Jungkook then Jimin.

"Nothing hyung.."

You signalled Jimin to not ask him anything, understanding, the three of you went out.

The eight of you had dinner peacefully and then decided to head to your respective bedroom. Before going you tapped Jungkook's shoulder and smiled.

"Don't go too hard on yourself, Kook."

He nodded and smiled, then you left. Looking your door your layed down and coveres yourself with the soft blanket, your body slowly relaxing, the pleasant quite atmosphere calming your mind and your heart. You let out a sigh of relief. Just then, your mind drifted to your step brothers. Youve noticed yoongi's behavior nowadays, there's something going on between Yoongi and Jimin you guessed. Hushing the worst thoughts, you slept.
