General Organa had pulled all of us Rebels into one place to explain a plan that she had been working on for weeks now. Easy. In and out. "It shouldn't be a problem," she said while eying me and my best friend, Poe Dameron. I hated it when she did that,

"That look probably means it's you and me, alone, doing some kind of deadly mission with the likelihood of survival drastically dropping as the minutes pass," Poe wittily commented while dragging me over to the General to see what exactly the plan was.

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  Leia was beginning to show her age, regardless if she wanted to or not. It reflected in the way she walked and talked, but it didn't stop her from being the greatest General the Rebels have ever had.

I smiled at her as she dismissed the rest of the Rebels, the area filling with casual conversation again, "Good morning, General," Leia Organa smiled back and squeezed both of our shoulders, "We saw that look you always give us. What's our mission?"

Leia pulled up a holograph of our base and points a wrinkled finger at a distinguished ship in the sky-area, "That is Snoke's ship, and that's us," she answers while dragging her nail across the map to our measly planet of Yavin, "They're starting to catch onto us. I need you two to either blow their ship up," she side-eyed Poe, which made him chuckle, "Or sneak on and destroy their map and plans to check Yavin out."

I looked at Poe and smirked, "Both if you know I'm a garbage pilot, so if this is a group effort, I say we steal clearance codes and sneak on."

"That's a stupid plan," Poe shook his head; waving at Leia to tell her we're on it, and we will be successful, like always, "They'll know we're there, and wouldn't it be easier to blow it up and take out Ren and Snoke at the same time?"

"Not if it's just one ship against their entire army of TIEs," I argued, leaning against his side, "Come on, you know I'll get my way regardless."

The brunette exhaled from his nose in annoyance, "I will never admit that you always get your way, but I will cave this time, and only this time. We can sneak on the stupid ship."

ย  ย  ย  ย ย  I smiled and pinched his cheek lovingly, "Come on, airhead."

ย  ย  ย  ย  I lead him to the ship quickly, afraid Rey or Finn would ask questions. Normally, I liked to be alone with Poe on these missions, and even though he never admitted it, he liked to be alone with me too. I could sense it in him,

ย  ย  ย  ย ย  "Hey, (Y/N)? Where are you two off to?" a familiar voice asked. That voice happened to belong to FN-2187, or as we called him, Finn,

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  "Leia assigned us another mission, Finn," I replied while hanging off the bars on the ship door; it creaking angrily and sending signs that I shouldn't put all my weight on it like that.

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  Finn shook his head and stomped on our dingy T-4a shuttle. We had got it off of some old guards and it worked magic for missions like this, "I'm going with you, and before you argue, I still have an active clearance code, so it should be in and out."

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  "Should be in and out," I pronounced in sarcasm, "Doesn't sound like our kind of luck, now does it?"

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  Finn flashed his pearly whites and chuckled softly, "Now where are we headed?"

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  Leading the previous Stormtrooper up to the front of the ship, Poe nodded at him and offered him my seat, which caused my eyes to roll automatically in annoyance, "General Organa wants us to destroy the First Orders' plans of Yavin. They're decreasing distance and she's worried they'll find us."

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  "Everyone seems a bit worried about that nowadays," Finn breathes steadily, "I kind of wish I didn't volunteer for this mission, not gonna lie."

Nodding in agreement and nervousness, I plop down in the passengers' seat and watch the two pilot the giant ship. They worked like clockwork. Their friendship was like nothing I had seen before, and honestly, I craved a friendship like that with someone. Sure, Poe is my best friend, but we're not as close as he is with Finn.

Cutting through space using Hyperspace, we easily locate Snoke's vessel. My heart immediately began beating at what seemed like a lethal rate, "Poe, that's definitely it."

"I know, hold on," he replied in aggravation while trying to slow down the ship at the same time as transferring codes over to gain access to the large vessel.

ย  ย  ย  ย ย  I blew a piece of hair out of my face and began biting my nails; a nervous twitch I have that Poe absolutely despises. He's scared my fingers will get infected or something like that, I don't know,

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  "Your codes are cleared. Welcome aboard," the man crackled through the ship's coms, a sigh of relief coming from the three of us,

"God, missions like this always stress me out," the brunette sighs, "Now, like always, some Troopers will come to investigate the ship. We take care of them, get in costume, then take you to the target as a 'prisoner,'" Poe confirms, causing me to roll my eyes again,

"Why is it always me that plays prisoner?" I asked, rolling my eyes, which has become a common occurrence between Poe and I lately, "Why not make Finn the prisoner? I mean, he is the traitorous Stormtrooper, who ironically, is wanted by everyone in this base."

"Apparently not wanted enough to recognize his codes," sneered Poe while cuffing my hands, "Now shut up and look scared."

Puffing a breath across my lips, I plant myself on the floor and wait for Poe and Finn to successfully attack and take out the Stormtroopers who were definitely on their way now to investigate the newly docked ship.

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  Once I heard the distinguished grunts and pained sounds of the Troopers, I pulled myself up and handed my gun over to Finn, "Okay, punch me in the mouth."

ย  ย  ย  ย ย  They always hated this partโ€” making it look real so the First Order wouldn't figure it out. Poe always refused to hurt me, and Finn normally apologized like a madman afterwards, even while acting like a Stormtrooper,

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  "Can't you just like trip into the console of the ship or something?" the ex-soldier asked while adjusting his helmet, "You know we hate doing this."

I looked at him with such confusion. Was he serious? That was so stupid, I mean, beyond Finn and Poe stupid, "Just punch me before I piss you off enough to legit want to punch me," I growled while shoving Finn roughly in the side. Weirdly, I can never piss Poe off, and he's the hothead. It's Finn I can piss off.

Finn finally shrugged and with great hesitation, he slugged me in the jaw. I barely felt it. It only felt numb and tingly, but by the time we were marching out of the ship; Poe tightly locking it up, it began aching and bruising up. Finn was wearing the Stormtrooper gloves, so it was kind of like a normal punch but on steroids.

I would imagine most Troopers are used to seeing me get dragged around by two 'Troopers' who don't quite look like they belong. It's only a matter of time before they realize our true intentions. I mean, they're dumb, but they're not that dumb. I trust General Organa, but I'm beginning to get nervous about trusting this technique after so long of using it,

"General!" Finn and Poe saluted at once; Kylo Ren racing by in a frantic, not paying them a touch of attention, "We have caught the Rebel fugitive (Y/N) (L/N)."

Ren turned on his heels, and stared right through me. He smiled underneath his ridiculous helmet, and force pulled me over to him, "Good," he whispered, "You two, take a break. She will reveal all their secrets before too long. It's been far too long since I've personally dealt with a Rebel."

ย  ย  ย  ย ย  I gulped and looked back frantically at the Trooper who happened to be Poe; loudly calling out for help inside my head. All I could do was aimlessly struggle and hope to God that Poe and Finn could come up with a plan that wouldn't get us all killed. Bonus: we actually complete what we were sent here to do.

ย  ย  ย  ย ย  Four Troopers piled in behind Ren as they noticed what was happening. It wasn't well hidden. I was shrieking and punching Kylo on his back and helmet even through I knew it wouldn't help anything. I was beyond terrified for the torture that was ahead.

ย  ย  ย  ย ย  One of my friends, Morgan Lyon was captured by the First Order near the beginning of the Rebellion. They made her go insane. She still doesn't remember my name. That is what I'm most afraid ofโ€” not the pain, not the fact that I may give up all those I love, but the fact that I may forget them, and I may forget myself,

"Make yourself useful and strap her up," the Sith commented while handing me over to a Trooper who obediently hung me from my arms by some metal clamps. He also proceeded to lock my feet up as well.

An Interrogator Droid was right behind Kylo as he began to get ready. It's needles and other sharp objects just continued to make me want to go back home and crawl into my warm cot and dream about nice warm sands and cool waters. It wasn't even the Sith I was worried about anymore,

"Now," he grinned while removing his helmet, "You will tell me where your meek Rebel base is," he waved his gloved hand in front of my face.

It felt as if my brain and skull was melting inside of my head. Whatever Jedi mindtrick he was using wasn't working, but it was close. I let out a scream of terror and pain; wreathing in absolute anguish,

"S-Stop it!" I hollered while looking him straight in the eyes, "Stop it! Get out of my head!"

He just pressed on, smiling at my weak fight. It amused him, which just sickened me, "You'll tell me one way or another."

Before Kylo could numb up and beat my head anymore, a Trooper in red armor raced in; his gun unsheathed, "Sir! There are two Rebel fighters on the ship. Supreme Leader Snoke has requested your presence immediately!"

He huffed in annoyance but nodded; his raven-black hair falling into his eyes, "Alright. You stay with the prisoner. If she escapes, it's your head on the line!"

His cape caught the wind as he exited, and I breathed a sigh of relief, "Poe, I know that's you," I smirked and looked up, gravity pulling and causing my nose to bleed from the pressure of his force torture, "Where's Finn?"

Poe revealed himself from the suit and grinned his same handsome smile as always, "I can't believe that actually worked! Finn is getting the ship ready as we speak! He took out some Sith Troopers on our way here, hence the armor," he punched his chest plate and hurried to help me down from the chains, "I didn't know he had it in him."

I fell into the pilots' arms and sighed, "Thank you. Really, thank you."

"Thank me when we get off this bucket of bolts," he replied while kissing my cheek affectionately.

I blushed wildly as he hoisted me up bridal style and raced through the frantic ship; no one noticing us. Typical First Order Stormtroopers.

Finn took me from Poe's arms once we reached our ship, and immediately got me hooked up in the medical bay, "I'm so sorry, (Y/N). We made a stupid mistake and we almost got you killed!"

I smiled and patted his shoulder, "Hey, it's what I signed up for. It's what we all signed up for."

The pilot motioned for Finn to leave the two of us alone, and sat down in a wooden chair beside my cot, "I don't even know how to begin to apologize."

I grab his hand and slowly make my way up to his lips; tenderly pressing them together. His chapped lips felt perfect against my smooth ones.

As we separated, I grinned and shoved his shoulder playfully, "You get to play prisoner next time. That's how you apologize."
