Separated. The one phrase we promised wouldn't happen. Cal promised on his life, yet here I am, strung up by my ankles, and staring into the dead eyes of an Inquisitor's suit. I could sense the individuals anger leaking out from him like a broken faucet,

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  "How many more of you are there?" the creature hissedโ€” obviously more metal than man.

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  Huffing irritably, I clenched my jaw shut like a metal trap. I was running out of witty rebuttals. Regardless of me stalling, the Inquisitors and their dark Master would find out about Cal and our plans to restore the Jedi Order,

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  "I've already told you," I hissed, my voice cracking and breaking from dehydration and exhaustion, "I'm the only one."

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  "I know that's a lie," the Inquisitor hissed back, just as strong.

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  This torture wouldn't work. Nothing would ever cause me to give up the location of Cal. This humanoid dark side wielder knows he's not going to get anywhere in his time schedule, so to save both of our times, he should give up,

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  "For Jedi hunters, you guys aren't very officiant," I smirked painfully; the bruising from my previous beatings throbbing aggressively, "I mean, where'd you get the idea that there's more than me? Haven't I made it pretty damn obvious, or are you just too prideful to admit you're wrong."

The individual growled aggressively from underneath his helmet. Snapping his arm up in the air, two Stormtroopers rushed in; their blasters locked and loaded,

"I was a Jedi too, you know," he grinned, his hand still lingering in the air, "I rose above the weak beliefs of the Jedi. I will give you one more opportunity to reveal the truth and join the Inquisitorius or you'll become target practice for these troopers."

The two men in white shiny armor chuckled mockingly at their boss' comment; clenching their hands more securely against the weapon, as if they know I won't oblige,

"I'm sorry your will was crippled by the dark side," I whispered, glaring daggers at my enemies; the force beginning to wrap around me like a weighted blanket, "But I refuse to be as weak-minded as yourself."

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  Gritting his teeth, the Inquisitor abruptly throws his hand down, signaling the Imperial Stormtroopers to open fire, which they immediately obliged in. Expecting to feel the burning rips of my flesh getting torn apart, my eyes began to tear up,ย  both reflexively clamping shut. But to my surprise, the pain never appeared. Instead, two sharp screams of torment echoed throughout the torture chamber.

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  Opening my eyes in confusion, I began to sob out of happiness. Cal Kestis had the Fifth Brother pinned against the dark dusty wall; his blue lightsabers sending sparks against the dark side user's red one. Cal's brow was covered in smeared muck and sweat, but what was even more apparent than that, was his sheer determination,

"You've already lost, Jedi!" the Sith hissed, brandishing his double-bladed lightsaber, "With this information alone, your puny rebellion will be crushed. The Jedi won't return."

I quickly sensed Cal's anger levels rising through the roof. Using an aggressive technique learned from his old Master, Jaro Tapal, he quickly disarmed the Inquisitor; pinning his blue lightsabers against his enemy's neck,

"Trust me, scum!" the red-head spit angrily, "I couldn't give less of a damn about this 'rebellion' you're referring to. I only came for (Y/N)."

The Inquisitor took off his helmet steadily, testing the apprentice's anger carefully. The Sith's skin was mint green, and his eyes reminded me of a manipulative serpent,

Cal was momentarily distracted. I could see the trick coming, but it's as if I was frozen solid. I couldn't even blink. The Inquisitor slammed his steel helmet against the red-head's face; the smash's echo making me nauseated.

Conjuring up all my strength, I blasted out of my chains abruptly, as if a shock wave had done the job for me. I could feel all the training from my old Master, Plo Koon flowing through me at once. I could tell the Fifth Brother wasn't expecting this move at all, and honestly, neither did I.

Snatching up Cal's blades, I swiftly decapitated the stunned Sith; finishing what Cal started. As the humanoid creature's head rolled across the floor, I loosely dropped the blades, and catered to Cal's wounds,

"In my absence, I didn't realize you'd get so stupid," I smiled sadly, blood gushing from Cal's forehead like a waterfall.

Cal just chuckled at my comment; grabbing onto my shoulder and hoisting himself up, "I couldn't let you have all the fun, now could I?"

I hooked his blades back to his waist. More-than-likely, that Inquisitor has my lightsaber, and if not, someone else in this base has it,

"How'd you get caught anyways?" Cal questioned while watching me pick-pocket the Sith, luckily locating my blade, which probably means he's the only other force-sensitive individual inside; or he's the strongest.

Igniting my (F/C) blade, I smiledโ€” a warmth spreading through my body, "I was looking for food with the Ewoks," I began, sheathing my lightsaber and hooking it back on my belt, "We got attacked. I got separated from the Ewoks, and easily became overwhelmed. It didn't help the Inquisitor was there."

"You could've easily handled Troopers," Cal nodded in agreement, wincing while placing his hand over his forehead gash, "What happened to the Ewoks?"

Shuddering, I shook my head, "Sometimes it's better to be ignorant."

My fellow Jedi just nodded in agreement, following me outside of the room, "My question now," I smiled, leaning into his side for assistance with walking, "How'd you find me, and how'd you get in?"

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  "I felt a disruption in the force," the red-head replied, not looking down at me, "I knew something terrible had happened to you, so I followed your force signature, and that's when I ran into this base. I don't know how we didn't sense it at first."

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  "Endor is a very busy planet," I replied in our defense, "Trying to pick out this base on the surface would've been foolish. The force energy radiation is stronger than any other planet I've inhabited."

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  Cal shoved me softly, "You've been to like two planets in your life. Endor and Coruscant."

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  "Not true, bantha fodder," I chuckled, shoving him back, "On a more serious note, I still sense something sinister here. Darker than the Fifth Brother. I sense he's darker than even the Grand Inquisitor."

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  It felt like a large tarp had been dropped over my eyes. The force was clouded. Something or someone definitely was here on Endor, but I couldn't tell based on force signature alone. Cal could sense it too, and if he was like me, he was probably trying to ignore it. We have before.

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  Until this moment, Cal and I had dodged every bullet coming our way. We disguised as scavengers, abandoned the force and our lightsabers, but we never left each other. But ever since we got discovered by the sinister Empire, dodging bullets has become more and more difficult. It's almost like they have a tracker on our backs at all times.

Getting out of the base was more difficult than we anticipated. Cal and I made a way better team together than apart; each of us doing our jobs flawlessly. Decapitating troopers left and right, covering each other's backs, and assisting each other when we need it most. We weren't on our best game this time thoughโ€” our wounds were taking a toll,

"Cal, we need to get out of here," I snapped while plunging my blade through the chest of a trooper, "This is getting too overwhelming."

I know Cal sensed our oncoming doom just as much as I did. These troopers were merely just a distraction. A familiar force signature was approaching our destinationโ€” one of an old Jedi Knight I had only worked with a couple times before during the Clone Wars. The force signature belonging to Anakin Skywalker... yet, it was different. More ominous.

I never discovered what happened to all the old Knights and Masters. I was on Cato Neimoidia with Master Plo when Order 66 was issued. I watched Jag, our best pilot in the Wolf Pack, shoot down my Master. I had to murder my friends... my brothers. It was heartbreaking to abandon Master Plo's body, and Commander Wolffe, but after I left, I never thought twice about what happened to the rest of the Jedi Order. I had found Cal shortly after, and that's all that matters to me; then and now.

Snapping back into reality, Cal and I were in a frenzy. Blocking blaster bolts right and left, screams echoing through the desolate woodlands. Before I could begin telling Cal of my discovery, a large Imperial Shuttle began to land in front of us. Immediately, the blaster fire from the Stormtroopers ceased.

Pushing my hands in front of my face, I blocked both the aggressive sun, and the cool air the ship pushed forth during its landing attempt,

"What the hell is happening?" Cal coughed, cupping his gushing head in pain.

I grabbed his arm and yanked him to face me, "I know you never worked with General Skywalker, but I can sense him. Master Plo and I worked with him on numerous occasions. He's the traitor to the Jedi!"

"Master Skywalker met his fate like our Masters didโ€” the Clones betrayed us, not the other way around," the red-head snapped, his lightsabers still unsheathed. I know he wanted to believe his statement, but he knows I'm right. I don't mess up.

As the Imperial Shuttle touched ground, the pure anger radiating from the ship was sickening. Pulling my lightsaber up, Cal and I shared a glance.

The shuttle door creaked open; dust and smoke alike filing out slowly. As the door completely opened, two Sith-Troopers filed out, and behind those individuals, was a towering man, covered in dark black armor from head-to-toe. His ominous breathing from a life support system just made him more personified.

Immediately the individual ignited his lightsaber, which had appeared from nowhere. An evil red illuminated the area, causing goosebumps to spill over my skin like a flood,

"Cal," I whispered in fear, pulling my lightsaber up, ready to fight, "If we don't make it, I-,"
"Shut up, (Y/N)!" Cal snapped softly, flipping his blue lightsabers smoothly in his hands, "He's just another Inquisitor. We will be fine."

Cal couldn't have been more wrong. It was easy to tell this individual topped all the Inquisitors put together, and then some. He must've been their leader,

"You're right, this is just another fight!" I snapped, taking the first move, and smashing my (F/C) lightsaber against the Sith's red; causing opposite colors to burst in every direction.

Cal quickly joined my pursuit, but it was meaningless. This Sith overpowered the both of us, even though it was two-to-one. He could've taken us without his lightsaber. It felt like he was even toying us; like he wasn't using his full strength.

The Sith's breathing became more rapid as we dodged and landed attacks left and right, which was hopeful, I suppose,

"You two would've made impressive Inquisitors," the voice croaked out, more machine than man, "It's disappointing that I must kill you."

I was beginning to lose steam, and so was Cal. This Sith wasn't slowing down at all. We needed a miracle, and in this war, there's no such thing as miracles.

As I was about to collapse, the familiar horn of the Ewoks thundered above. Then another, and another. Immediately all three of us were surrounded by the planet's locals.

Smiling, I sped up my attacks, as if I was shocked with a bolt of electricity. Cal and I used the Ewoks as a distraction, and headed into the woods where we could lick our wounds, then return to the battle. The screams of both sides echoed through the forest, causing tears to form in my eyes.

We quickly arrived at the ship we came to the desolate planet in. Collapsing into Cal's arms, I shuddered painfully, "That was Master Skywalker. I've never seen another force-user with his strength before."

"Shh," the red-head cooed, dragging me up and into the ship, "Don't worry about him now. We just need to worry about ourselves, and get us as far as possible away from this place."

I felt bad for the Ewoks, but they knew what they were doing.

As we set our course further into the outer rim, I pressed a kiss to Cal's cheek, causing his face to light up as if he was a tomato, "Thanks for coming to rescue me today. You didn't have to do that."

"Our destiny is too important to be stifled out by the Inquisition, and besides, I need you," he grinned, moving my lips into his, "You're the only reason I survived Order 66 after all."

"I'm the reason you survived most of your battles," I giggled, placing a bandage on his forehead; the boy wincing in contact, "Now, let's set course to Bogano. Seems pretty abandoned."

"That's what you said about Endor," he sneakily replied, "Whatever we decide on, let's just not get separated again, okay."
