"Shit, Bo, I dunno," you whispered while adjusting your helmet slightly to the left, "I know we're good in a fight, but look at all the Stormtroopers down there. This isn't a fair fight at all."

Bo-Katan laid her hand softly on your shoulder and squeezed. You couldn't feel the touch, of course, because of the Beskar armour covering your body, but you knew it was there,
"We need this armour, (Y/N). I know Mandalore fell many moons ago, but our ancestors will be beyond pleased. This is Tarre Vizsla's armour we're talking about. It's worth the sacrifices we may make to achieve greatness."

Exhaling, you nod, "Bo, I know you're right, but this doesn't feel good to me. Something is off."

"You're just nervous," the Mandalorian shrugged off, smacking your cheek lightly, "Get your head in the game. The siege starts now."
She jumped off the platform the two of you were settled on, and you shook your head. She was always so reckless, and you could never tell her no. You loved her far too much to tell her no... but you simply don't have the guts to tell her your feelings either. It was a lose-lose.

You swiftly jumped after her; the feeling of falling entering your body. The both of you landed silently on the platform below, and you scanned the area. There were a couple of Stormtroopers guarding the entrance to the looming building ahead, but it was nothing you and Bo couldn't handle.

You pulled out your vibrating Vibroblade and gritted your teeth, "Ready?"

Your Mandalorian accompaniment nodded eagerly while whipping hers out as well, "Whoever gets the most kills wins."
Typical Bo.

The two of you sprung out of your hiding places behind a few crates, catching the Stormtroopers off guard. It took the group quite a few seconds to gather themselves and fight back as you and Bo ripped through them like a hot knife to butter. Troopers were dropping like flies.
Finally, blaster bolts began to fly through the clearing recklessly. People who claim Stormtroopers have bad aim weren't kidding— they couldn't hit you if you were knocked out and dying.

Their numbers began to thin out as you and your Mandalorian accompaniment continued to work on them. Using your Vibroblade, you penetrated a Stormtrooper's solid armour; his screams echoing to your ears. You slid him effortlessly off the blade, and leapt into the battle; slashing the throats of many frightened Troopers.

"Let's advance!" Bo-Katan suggested as she wiped the feet out from underneath a Stormtrooper. He loudly hit the ground, and Bo took this as an opportunity to slice his throat.

You nodded in agreement, grabbing a blaster off your belt; replacing the blade. There's not much a Vibroblade can do against foes that are aware of it. It is normally a weapon for surprise attacks, unlike the blaster that you will be using from now on. Bo-Katan followed by pulling off hers. She followed you towards the door into the tall tower that held Tarre Vizsla's armour.

It was eerily quiet in the tower. You expected a whole battalion to be waiting for you and Bo, but this wasn't the case. Not a single Trooper was on the ground floor... not a single Droid or janitor either. It was completely still and silent,

"I suspect a trap," you mumbled while fingering off the safety on the weapon, "Stay close, okay?"

Bo-Katan nodded, shooting you and sideways glance with a hint of amusement in her voice, "Aw, you're worried about me? I've been doing this longer than you have, so maybe it would be a bit more appropriate for me to tell you to stay close."

"Whatever floats your boat, Bo," you replied with a hint of amusement in your tone. You had a small tinted blush over your cheeks at her comment, but luckily your helmet was on so she couldn't see it, "But I am far more experienced than you are, so heed my advice."

She made a 'pfft' sound with her mouth and rolled her eyes. She didn't respond, only crept forward with her body in front of yours as a makeshift meat shield in case danger descended on the two of you,
"Watch our back, okay?"

You nodded and obediently spun around so both you and Bo-Katan were back-to-back. The simply feeling of her back touching yours was enough to make your stomach do flips. Your face heated up as she shifted; lining herself more comfortably against your back.
So many thoughts began to enter your mind. How it would feel to intertwine your fingers with hers, how it would feel to share a kiss with Bo, or even saying 'I love you' to her. Your mind was immediately flooded with the unmistakable love you had for the Mandalorian, but unfortunately, it was at the wrong time.

As you were madly focused on your attraction to Bo, a handful of Stormtroopers entered your view. You couldn't react fast enough, which caused them to completely circle you both. Their blasters were aimed straight at your heads,

"Nice to finally meet you both," a voice echoed through the hallway. Both of your heads turned to try and locate the voice. When you saw him, your heart dropped.
It was an unknown man with an unknown voice, yet his apparel was very recognizable. Whoever was speaking was wearing Tarre Vizsla's armour, "I bet this is why you're here."

You felt Bo tense against your back as she realized what a predicament you were in. The man inside Tarre Vizsla's armour laughed methodically at the two of you, "I'm just as surprised as you are that we bested you. I was going into this whole plan blind, but somehow, you both couldn't see us."

Your heart dropped. This was indisputably your fault. If you hadn't been fantasizing about what can't never be, you both could have Tarre Vizsla's armour back by now, and you could both be getting the hell off of this godforsaken planet; never to return.

"I would like to ask that you drop your weapons, please," the man suggested in a kind tone, yet you knew it was all a façade. All Imperials are evil and cruel, and just because this Tarre Vizsla imposter is acting friendly, doesn't mean he is.

"Actually," Bo chimed in, eyeing the Troopers around her, "How about you have your lapdogs drop their weapons, and then (Y/N) and I can strip you blind of that armour. Otherwise, we will kill you all."
This resulted in hysterical laughter from the Stormtroopers.

You raised an eyebrow at their insolence and sighed; clenching your blasters tightly, "Don't say she didn't warn you."

The two of you immediately jumped into action as the Troopers finished up their bouts of laughter. They obviously weren't expecting such a bold move, even after Bo warned them. You were thankful of this, as it gave you and your Mandalorian accompaniment an advantage. Even if they did take the threat seriously, you still wouldn't have any problems wiping them out. Stormtroopers are terrible shots and they know it to be true.

You watched, completely mesmerized as Bo-Katan leapt and slid around the room. She looked like a professional dancer doing those stunts. In one hand, she held her Vibroblade, which was shaking in anticipation, and in the other, she had her blaster. Bo was moving 100 miles an hour; hacking, slashing, and shooting all that stood in her way.
Shaking yourself free of the trance that Bo had you under, you leapt into the action as well.

You had about as much trouble with the Stormtroopers as Bo-Katan did. Swiftly, each of the Trooper's lives were taken from them without a single break of sweat. You could hear the nervousness from the wanna-be Tarre Vizsla. He had nowhere else to turn and he knew it,

"Hey," he said shakily as the two of you began to wipe the blood from your Vibroblade, "Let's talk about this!"

You snickered cockily at the trembling man before you, "Honestly, I don't think we have much to talk about. You aimed guns at both me and my girl, threatening to kill us both if we don't comply with your rules, and you steal an incredibly valuable Mandalorian artifact. You just expect us to talk?"

You looked over at Bo, who had removed her helmet after the fighting had ended. She had a slight blush dusting over her nose and cheeks at the mentioning that she was your girl. You shook away the butterflies that were accumulating in your gut, and refocused on the Tarre Vizsla imposter,

"I do understand, Mandalorian!" the man trembled while removing his helmet. He was a ash-grey Rodian with hypnotic purple eyes, "The Empire offered a ton of money, and I have a family of 8. The Empire has affected us as much as it has affected you!"

Bo-Katan stepped forward and shook her head, "Your intentions are pure, but you should've been more concerned for your family if they had to grow up without a father."

Fear streaked over the Rodian's glossy eyes as he waved his hands in front of his body, "Please don't kill me! Don't make my wife and widow and my children fatherless!"

Your heart broke at that. You hated the Empire more than anyone else, and you knew how tight their grip was on the entire galaxy. You laid a hand on Bo's shoulder, and she loosened her grip on her Vibroblade, which was in the process of rising to the Rodian's throat.

"Never do anything like this again," you began, staring at the eyes of the Rodian, "If we get a whiff of you ever again in association with the Empire, we will kill you without hesitation, okay?"

The Rodian sighed a deep sigh of relief and nodded; handing you Tarre Vizsla's helmet, "I promise, Mandalorian. I will find more ethical work to provide money for my family."

Bo completely relaxed as the man began to strip off the armour, and was giving it to the two of you without any hassle. You weren't sure if the Rodian's words were sincere, but you didn't care. Unnecessary killing always left a scar on your heart— you've done too much of it during your time as a Mandalorian.
As Bo-Katan began to pack the armour into her backpack, the Rodian raced away to his ship, simply being happy over the fact that he wasn't murdered today. Sighing a breath of relief that this was all over, you squatted by her side,

"How are you feeling?"

Bo sighed and shrugged, looking back at you in your beautiful eyes, "I am just happy we got out of that with minimal bloodshed. That Rodian was just as innocent as we are in this whole war, and I was so ready to end his life over a set of armour."

"You said it yourself: it's very valuable armour," you retorted while clasping her shoulder in your gloved hand, "If you decided to kill him, I would understand and agree with your methods. You and I are doing what we can to simply survive. I know you would do anything to keep me safe, as I would do anything to keep you safe."

The Mandalorian grinned while placing the rest of the armour into her bag, "Did you mean what you said earlier? That I'm your girl?"

It was your turn to blush now. You adverted your eyes nervously at that question. Did you mean it? Blinking, you turned back to Bo and swallowed, "Do you want me to mean it?"

Bo-Katan smirked and wrapped her arms around your neck; pulling you close. Your eyes widened in surprise as you felt her lips perfectly encase yours. This was just how you dreamed it would be!
Separating, you laid your forehead against hers and giggled like a little kid, "I'll take that as a yes!"

"You're smarter than you look!" she sarcastically remarked while pulling you in for another kiss: this one just as good as the last.
