ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  The feeling of the rouge Jedi was enough to make Aliryrwen's eyes fill with tears. She didn't believe it when she heard it, but the realization hit her when the pure hatred she sensed through the force around Ben Solo was made a reality. The young Solo had butchered all of her friends and family, leaving her practically all alone in this world.

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  Aliryrwen would like to believe that if she was on the planet of Chandrila at the time of Ben's episode, she would've been spared, but she couldn't sense his true intentions towards her. Luckily, her and her friend, Fiisk, an Abyssin, were off on a mission to shut down some troublemakers on Naboo. Unfortunately, her fellow learners weren't as lucky,

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  "Any sign of Master Skywalker?" Aliryrwen asked while cradling her arms in her hands in disbelief at the sight that plagued their home.

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  Fiisk shook his head in sadness, leaning down to pick up another abandoned lightsaber, "You're sure Ben's behind this?" the Abyssin asked, "He was Master Luke's prodigy. I wonder why he'd do something like this."

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  The girl shrugged, sadness overtaking her yet again as the tears began to overfill her eyes, "It's definitely Ben. I've reached out to him in the forceโ€” he's still alive, and obviously trying to ignore my pleas for an answer."

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  "Maybe we can find Luke?" the Abyssin blinked his one purple eye closed, "He'd know what to doโ€” he always does."

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  Aliryrwen shook her head at his suggestion, "Master Skywalker wouldn't have fled if he believed there was any way to save this place. We need to find Ben somehow, and bring him back to us. We can restart the order again."

"Don't be naรฏve, Ali," Fiisk shook his head, "Everyone is dead! The Younglings, the Knights, hell, even our Masters! Ben went to the Dark Side. We need to forget about him, and find Luke."

The young girl sighs, looking around at the mess that scattered the Jedi Temple, "At least let me try to contact him one last time."

"I'll be on the ship. Please don't take too long," the Padawan sighed, patting the girl's shoulder with pity, "I know you liked Ben, a lot, but this place gives me the creeps."

Rolling her eyes as her friend walks off to their only way off the rock, Aliryrwen slowly falls to the ground in a cris-cross style; slipping into a meditative state, just feeling for Ben Solo,

"Ben, come to me," she cried out, her eyes rolling into the back of her head, "All I want is an explanation."

A familiar feeling encased the young woman, feeling her with ease and security. Opening her sandy-brown eyes, a sad smile rose to her lips, "Are you safe?"

Ben wasn't smiling, in fact, he looked rather ashamed, "Aliryrwen, I am fine. Where are you?"

"Back on Chandrilla with Fiisk," the girl replied while pulling herself up on her feet, "What happened? Why did you destroy everything we've worked to make?" she cuts herself off with a sniffle, "Why'd you destroy what we had together?"

Ben took a regretful step towards her, tears welling in his eyes at the sight of the woman before him, "It's complicated. Luke, h-he tried to kill me. I've been offered a second chance at everything."

"What do you mean, 'Luke tried to kill you?'" the girl asked, wiping away a stray tear on her robe, "And a second chance? Where are you?"

Ben continued to take careful steps towards his friend, obviously fighting a mental battle about what to declare to her, "I met a man. He's creating an army that could rival the Empire. He's declared me as Kylo Ren, Sith Lord."

Aliryrwen's jaw dropped to the singed grass below her, "You're a Sith? What would Leia think, Ben?"

Ben frowned and made a face that looked a lot like an angry Lothwolf after they've missed a meal, "I don't care what my mother thinks, now don't bring her up againโ€” or my dad."

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  "Heard you loud and clear," the Padawan backs up slightly, her arms extended horizontally in front of her, "I want to see you. Where are you?"

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  The apparent Sith paused, then looked Aliryrwen directly into her brown orbs, "I'm in the Outerrim on a large Star Destroyer. I'll send Fiisk coordinates," Ben took another step forward to where he was just an inch away from his fellow student, "I can't believe you'd still come looking for me, even after all I've done."

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  "Master Skywalker said my worst traits were being stubborn and hardheaded," the girl grinned, leaning her hand out; him doing the exact sameโ€” their hands intertwining, "I'm devoted to you through your good and your bad."

Ben smiled, a legit smile. The first smile the girl had seen come off him since this whole ordeal, "I hate how good you are to me. I don't deserve it, Ali."

"Fiisk and I will be there soon, okay?" she rolled her eyes and kissed his cheek, or as well as she could. Connecting and maintaining a good connection between two individuals within the force took a great bond. They couldn't really feel each other's touch, though they'd like to imagine they'd could, "Please stay safe, okay?"

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  Ben smiled her way, and as quickly as he appeared to her, he disappeared. Sighing to herself, Aliryrwen turned back towards the ship. Climbing up the steep docking port, she made eye contact with her childhood friend,

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  "I assume you made contact with our esteemed culprit?" the Abyssin asked, his eyebrow raising.

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  "How can you tell?" the girl asked while closing up the ship behind her, and setting herself down in the pilot's chair.

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  Fiisk sat himself down beside her and got the ship on and ready to go, "Ali, I've known you your entire life. And not to mention you're blushing. Ben Solo makes you blush unlike any other."

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  That comment made Aliryrwen blush even harder. He was right though, "So what did he have to say for himself?" the older Jedi continued, getting the ship into the air.

"I know damn well you're not going to like what I'm going to tell you, and frankly I'm not quite sure what to think about it yet," the younger Jedi pondered, her eyes locking on the pile of discarded lightsabers that Fiisk had collected during their short stay,

"He was prompted to join a group. Apparently they rival the Empire from long ago, and he's been appointed Sith Lord by his 'new Master,'" Aliryrwen commented, a mocking tone appearing towards the end, "Ben sent you coordinates to his location. He wants us to go to him."

The Abyssin forced a laugh, "You're not serious, right?" he frowned, grabbing his fellow Jedi's hand, "He slaughtered everyone we've ever known and loved, and now he wants us to go have a reunion and meet his new Master? I dunno, Ali, it sounds like he just wants us to have a little reunion with our friends," he growled, an obvious hatred towards the Sith growing and growing inside him.

Aliryrwen, without any warning, wrapped her arms around her old friend, "I know you've been through a lot, Fiisk, but Ben is scared. He's a child and he's afraid. He needs us, whether that means getting him out of that ship and away from his Master, or joining him."

"Joining him?" Fiisk snapped, breaking out of the short-lived hug, "We're Jedi! We pledged to stand by our code! I am not breaking my oath just because you have feelings towards the young Solo."

"What else do you suppose we do then?" Aliryrwen snapped right back, multitasking while driving the ship towards hyperspaceโ€” her voice rising louder and louder as each word slipped past her lips, "The Jedi are dead, this may be the only choice to not get hunted down like animals. This may be the only chance we don't end up like our friends."

Fiisk's eye softens, and he lays a hand on the girl's shoulder, "I shouldn't have yelled. You're just as scared as Ben is, and it was foolish for me to blame you for any of this," he carefully grabs the controls from the younger Jedi, "You're right. The least we can do for him is try. It's our duty."

Aliryrwen's eyes softened up, and she wrapped her older friend up in yet another hug, "You would've made a wonderful Master to someone, you know? I would've been honored to learn under you."

"Shut up," he joked, nudging out of her grip.

The coordinates Ben had given the two vagabond Jedi had been correct. The ship he was apparently boarded on was an old and desolate Star Destroyer, from what appeared to have been built in the middle of the last great war,

"Where do we even board this ship?" Fiisk muttered out, obviously taken aback by its sheer size.

"Try there," Aliryrwen commented, extending her finger to point out a nearby landing port, "I sense Ben is indeed on this ship, but I also sense another force-sensitive life from. I thought Ben felt dark, but this individual," Fiisk and Aliryrwen locked eyes, "They must be the Master."

The two Jedi silently landed the ship, and left it where it was. Illuminating the essentially abandoned ship was their lightsabers; both bringing a soft blue light to the damaged frigate,

"Does Ben think this ship will be a start to a new Empire?" Fiisk swallowed hard, the blue from his lightsaber making his purple eye appear as a magenta, "This ship wouldn't be able to move an inch if it tried, let alone rival the Empire."

Aliryrwen didn't reply. She was too focused on trying to locate the two force-sensitives on board, besides themselves of course. It was like a maze on this ship. Every twist and turn seemed to lead them in the same direction, but trusting in the force was their one beacon of hope that they couldn't abandon,

"I think they're up ahead," Ali whispered, pulling her blue lightsaber up closer to her build, "Ben? Are you there?"

"Aliryrwen?" a voice called back, causing the girl's face to light up.

Sheathing her lightsaber, the young girl took off in the direction of her partner's voice, which earned a scolding from Fiisk who was right behind her. As she turned a sharp corner, she ran face-first into Ben Solo himself,

"Ben?" she asked, cupping his face in her hands, as if she hardly could believe it was true, "Is it really you?"

Ben smiled brightly, his eyes creasing around the sides, and immediately brought Ali's face to his. While the two young Jedi were enjoying their reunion, Fiisk sat uncomfortably behind them, clearing his throat at the sight of their affection,

"I understand you two missed each other, but I think we deserve an explanation on why you did what you did," he huffed, causing the two young Jedi to reluctantly separate from each other.

"What we need to do is get the hell off this ship," Ben snapped, grabbing Ali's hand protectively, "There's someone else here. I wouldn't classify them as human, but I wouldn't classify them as humanoid either. They're something else, and they want nothing more than for me to kill you."

Fiisk reignited his lightsaber and shoved it in Ben's face angrily, "I knew this was a trap! You lured Ali in while she was vulnerable, now you're going to kill us both!"

"What?" Ben asked in disbelief, pushing his partner behind him defensively, "No, I'm serious! He claims to be my Master, and he won't stop until we leave and get so far away from here that he can't find us!"

Fiisk's eye softens again, then nods, "Ali mentioned a Master. Let's just get out of here, then we can talk."

A booming laughter seemed to rise from the shadows themselves. A chilling cold appeared from nowhere, causing the three teenagers to begin shivering uncontrollably,

"You can't steal my most competent apprentice away that easily, girl!" the voice boomed, "Now, be prepared to die."

Ben grabbed onto both of the two Jedi, and pulled them through the twisty dark halls, "I hope you know where you parked the ships, because Snoke isn't kidding. He will kill you both and deeply punish me afterwards!"

Fiisk huffed angrily and took the lead, "I don't have to like you, Solo, because I sure as hell don't, but I'm not going to let you fall down the wrong path. Now, both of you keep up!"

The three vagabond Jedi ventured as quickly as possible around the halls of the abandoned Star Destroyer, the laughter of a maniac echoing behind their every footstep, but finally, and not a moment too soon, located the ship,

"Up, up, up, hurry!" the Abyssin nagged, shoving his friends on the loading deck as the cold and darkness nearly swallowed the trio up.

At that moment when the ship was picked up off the Star Destroyer, the pure anger radiating from that place was almost unbearable. It made Aliryrwen feel sick to her stomach, and Fiisk was a different shade of green than normal.

Punching into hyperspace, Ali leaned onto Ben's shoulder, exhaling softly, "I'm so happy we got you out of there when we did," she whispered, pressing her soft lips against his, "I don't know what I would've done if you really would've joined the Dark side."

"I'm a Jedi, like you, my Uncle, and my Mother before me," Ben whispered, deepening the kiss, "We've had a setback, but the Order will bounce back stronger than before."
