"Rey!"

Rey jumped to her feet, snatching her lightsaber from her bag and quickly igniting it. She got into a fighting stance, circling around until she came face to face with-

"Oh, it's just you."

"Just me? What do you mean? I thought I was a legend. The Luke Skywalker." Luke frowned, his Force ghost shimmering with a soft blue light.

Rey turned off her lightsaber. "You are. Maybe you can help me."

Rey sat back down on the stump and placed her head in her hands.

"Leia's gone," Rey said sorrowfully. "And Ben."

"I know," Luke said sadly. "They are part of the Force now. It is up to you now to bring hope to the galaxy."

"I just, I just can't imagine living life without them. I'm back where I started. Alone."

Luke moved in front of her. "You know, I trained here once."

Rey took her hands away from her face. "You did?" She felt hopeful.

Luke nodded. "Yes. With one of the best Jedi that ever lived, Master Yoda."

"Really? Who's Master Yoda?" Rey was glad that Luke had been here before, even a little excited.

"Here!" A little voice snickered, and the owner of the voice took shape. A small creature appeared next to Luke, giving off the same blue light.

Rey leaned in towards it. "Master Yoda?"

"My name, that is. Rey, you must be," said the creature.

Luke and Yoda stood side by side, waiting for Rey to speak. "The Force led me here. Please help me know what to do next," Rey pleaded. "Tell me. I need guidance."

Luke had an answer. "Search your heart and your mind. Think deeply, and you will know."

Rey pondered this for a minute. Luke and Yoda were patient, looking at each other and raising their eyebrows.

"I know," Rey said finally."I know what I am supposed to do."

"And that is-" Luke said.

"I...I want to train a new kind of Jedi. A Grey Jedi. One that is both dark and light. That way there will be balance. There have been Jedi and Sith for too long. There must be a new order in the galaxy."

Yoda seemed satisfied with her answer. "Who will you train?"

"Yes, who will be your first students?" Luke asked. Yoda and Luke seemed to support Rey's plan.

"I was no one, and through my experiences, I became a new person. I became someone who mattered. I want to take children who are no one, like I once was, and turn them into people who can do amazing things, and help people. Who can bring forth a balance." Rey was satisfied with her answer. She sat up straighter, and realized something important.

"Sounds like I need a teacher," said Rey thoughtfully. "All I have are a bunch of old Jedi texts."

"You have the greatest teacher there is!" said Luke. "The Force."

Luke smiled about what he was going to say next, then blurted it out. "The Force is even a better teacher than Master Yoda here."

"Hey!" Yoda tapped his cane on the ground. "This young girl, right she is. The Force is a great teacher, but training she will need."

"I am never teaching another student," Luke said. "Besides, how long can we be seen as Force ghosts at a time, anyway?"

"Yes," said Rey. "Can't one of you teach me?"

"It is a possibility," Yoda said. "Understanding the ways of the Force, easier it is becoming. Which means last longer as Force ghosts, we do."

"I think two weeks of training here on Dagobah would be suitable," said Luke.

Yoda looked surprised at the short period of time but sighed, silently agreeing with Luke.

"Time to build yourself your own lightsaber also, it is," said Yoda.

Rey adjusted to a different position and thought about what type of lightsaber she wanted. She liked Snoke's. But he was evil so...copying his wasn't her best choice.

"I think I want a double-sided lightsaber," she said finally.

"I think it would suit a Grey Jedi," said Luke.

"What about the color?" Yoda aksed.

"Yellow or white. But not exactly like Snoke's," Rey said.

Yoda nodded. "Tomorrow, your training begins. One more thing-"

"Yes," Luke cut Yoda off. "Grey Jedis are able to use both the light side and the dark side of the Force."

"But-the dark side!" Rey was shocked.

"Yes, Grey Jedis can use the dark side of the Force without succumbing to the dark side. This is harder than you think it will be," said Luke. "We'll have Kylo and Anakin talk to you about that when the time comes."

Rey let out a little gasp.  Ben!" Hearing his name made her sad, sad that Ben wasn't able to join her in creating a Grey Jedi order. Why couldn't he have just listened to me? Wait, who's Anakin?

As if reading her thoughts, Yoda chuckled. "Give you a lesson about the Skywalker family tree, we will. Along with other important history."

"Make sure to tell the stories of Anakin and Kylo to your students, Rey. Teach them the dangers of the dark side," said Luke.

Luke and Yoda vanished suddenly, and Rey was left sitting on her stump, pondering everything that had happened to her since she left Jakku. I'm excited to train children who need me in this new order. To bring a balance to the Force. I wonder how many kids are out there just waiting for something to happen, like I was once on Jakku. The galaxy needs a new order, and I will deliver it.
