Jungkook didn't know how to act around Taehyung. He didn't mind him being there, but it was like a slap to his face every time he looked at Taehyung, a reminder that he was the reason Hoseok got kicked out.

Jimin was around constantly now.

In fact, Seokjin had to write him up once for refusing to leave the room. It caused a big commotion on their floor, one that quickly spread throughout the rest of the building and eventually the whole school.

Jungkook pretended not to notice how people stopped talking and began whispering among themselves when he walked into the room, or how people he was once friendly with suddenly didn't know him anymore.

All because Taehyung was moved into his room.

Taehyung, for the most part, was like his usual self. He ignored the dirty looks and snide comments Jimin made whenever he was around. Sometimes he would respond but Jimin would then say something about Bogum and Taehyung would immediately shut up.

Whenever Jungkook asked who Bogum was, both of them would act as if he'd never said anything. It was frustrating to Jungkook because it was like they were in on a secret they didn't want him to know.

When Jungkook woke up that morning, he shivered and moved closer to Jimin, having spent the night before in his dorm because Jimin was leaving for a week long internship.

He laid his head on the older boys chest as he felt arms encircle his waist and pull him in closer. He inhaled slightly at the twinge of pain in his backside which was sore because of the rough sex they'd had the night before.

"Mmm, morning.." Jimin mumbles sleepily.

"Morning." Jungkook murmurs back quietly, letting his eyes drift shut as Jimin begins to rub his back in a circular motion.

They lay like that for awhile, quiet and content and warm underneath the blankets.

Eventually, Jimin sighs and sits up, running a hand through his hair as he gets up and walks over to the bathroom.

"I'm going to go take a shower- want to join me?" Jimin asks, smiling when Jungkook whines softly.

"Ugh, I don't want to get up but I know I should...ok, I'll join you." Jungkook huffs out, getting up.

"If your gonna act like that, just forget it." Jimin says jokingly.

"That's fine with me; I'll just go shower with Tae-"

Jungkook immediately stops at the look on Jimin's face.

"Hey, I was just joking." He says softly, reaching his hand out hesitantly, like he was almost afraid to touch Jimin.

"Well it wasn't funny." Jimin says shortly.

Jungkook bites his lip, unsure of what to say.

"Maybe I should just stay here. I can always do the internship next year-"

"Do you not trust me?" Jungkook asks suddenly, unable to look Jimin in the eye. He was afraid of what he was going to say.

"What? No, of course I do. I don't trust him-"

"Taehyung isn't going to do anything-"

"You don't know him like we do Jungkook! Him being nice and caring and 'innocent' is just a mirage! If-"

"Prove it then," Jungkook demands, snatching his clothes off the floor and hurriedly putting them on. "Tell me about Bogum."

Jimin smirks. "Fine."

Jungkook waits as Jimin wraps a towel around his waist and they both sit down on the bed.

"Bogum was a student here who graduated last year-"

"Obviously." Jungkook says brattily but Jimin only smiles.

"I wasn't really friends with Taehyung last year but I knew of him- everyone did, because of Bogum," Jimin sighs, rubbing his shoulder absentmindedly. "They were a thing, the campus's 'it' couple- until..."

Jimin trails off, looking incredibly awkward and Jungkook suddenly doesn't want to hear what he's going to say.

"Wait, it's ok Jimin-"

"Basically, Taehyung wanted Bogum to join him in a foursome and Bogum said no so Taehyung did it without him. One of the guys secretly recorded it and then leaked the video all over campus; another caught an STD and left school shortly after and obviously once Bogum found out, he ended things with Taehyung and never spoke to him again." Jimin says quickly, the words spewing out of his mouth so fast that it took Jungkook a moment to process what he'd said.

"I don't believe that." Jungkook states.

Jimin throws his hands up in exasperation.

"What don't you believe? Do you think I'd make that up? I know the truth, I was friends with Bogum. And I saw how Taehyung acted after everything happened- if it wasn't true, don't you think he'd be trying to clear his name?" Jimin asks and Jungkook falters.

He thinks back to how Taehyung used to walk around with the cocky air about him, smirking and well...flirting with him every time he saw Jungkook. But at the same time, he thinks back to what he witnessed before he left to Jimin's parents house and he doesn't know what to believe.

He looks up as Jimin moves away from him, looking at him wearily.

"What?" Jungkook asks.

"Did...? You haven't done anything with Taehyung, have you? Like before we starting seeing eachother?" Jimin asks.

Jungkook remains quiet, his heart thudding loudly in his chest. He wonders if he should come clean and tell Jimin the truth- now would be the perfect time to do so.

But he didn't want to lose him.

Jungkook looks up at Jimin, his eyes beginning to water as he opens his mouth.

"J-Jimin-"

His eyes widen in surprise as Jimin suddenly leans forward and kisses him. Jungkook lets his eyes drift shut as he wraps his arms around Jimin's neck, feeling Jimin's arms wrap around his waist and pull him close.

Jungkook lets himself melt into the kiss for a moment before he pulls away, shaking his head.

"No, Jimin I-"

"Forget I ever asked that stupid question Kookie. I'm sorry- I know you wouldn't cheat on me, I just...I don't want to lose you..."

"You won't." Jungkook says softly, his voice no louder than a whisper.

Jimin smiles alittle, but instead of reassuring Jungkook, it only makes him feel uneasy.

"I need to start getting ready." Jimin says and Jungkook nods.

"I'll go then-"

"No, stay. I want to be with you for as long as I possibly can." Jimin says and Jungkook nods again, watching as his boyfriend stands and heads towards the bathroom.

Jimin turns in the doorway and smirks slightly.
"You know, the offer still stands."

Jungkook smiles at that, standing up and stripping his clothes off once again before he joins Jimin in the bathroom.
