"It might be over soon."
-Bon Iver

***

The door closed behind Frans, immediately he noticed Pixie who was staring at him with wide eyes.

The two guards stood stiffly next to the door, making him feel more and more trapped as time passed.
There was thin layer of sweat and some kind of make-up powder on his forehead, and a gel that now made his hair stick out in odd angles

His performance had been an utter chaos. He had tripped over himself countless of times and forgot his own song lyrics. And on top of that he had managed to trip off the stage, it was pure luck some guards were in between him and the people in the concert.
It had been chaos.

After the concert that had been the worst concert of his life, he was announced of the security cameras in his own house, because what happened to Fredrick, they think someone wants bad things to happen with Frans as well.
As he stood in the doorway, already he noticed the small red blinking dots in the corners of the room, almost not having any blind spots if any at all. It was quite frustrating as he felt like an animal in a cage, everyone saw where he was and what he did. He only hoped they didn't have a camera in a bathroom, that would be the most frustrating, embarrassing and oddest thing.

He turned to take his car keys and turned back towards the front door, the guards stopped him.

"Sir, you're not allowed anywhere until tomorrow morning at 6am in the studio."

"I need to go to the hospital."

He gritted through his teeth. The guards didn't even blink at his anger.

"Sir, you're not allowed anywhere until tomorrow morning at 6am in the studio."

The other one said, still holding onto Frans' shaking shoulder. He shrugged his hands off, sending daggers at his way.

"Yeah I heard that, but I really need to go to the hospital you knuckleheads!"

"Sir, you're not allowed-"

Frans turned away and stomped upstairs, he needed to calm down.
His room was clean, spotless even, but he hardly turned his attention to it.

He pulled his bathroom door shut and turned on the lights, the luxury of the room didn't matter to him. A man does not need gold or fanciness to live, a man simply needs water and warmth to stay alive. And well, possibly a woman as well.

He stepped in the shower and sat town, turning on the water he rested his head on his knees.
His body was demanding for sleep, his limbs were heavy, his eyelids shutting on their own accord and his stomach growling of hunger.

But it was his mind that refused to rest, it was running wild, his thoughts swirling into gigantic hurricanes and like a wave of tsunami, one thought suffocated others.
He must check up on Freddie as soon as possible or else he can't get any shut eye for awhile.

His green eyes snapped open and he realized how cold the water was by now.
He stood up, his fingers had turned white and were trembling by now. He turned the water off and stepped out, tying a towel around his lower self.

He shuffled around his closet, pulling out pair of old sweats he didn't even remember he had and a grey hoodie with adidas logo. He stopped in midway, remembering the cameras in his rooms, he headed to the bathroom to change.

It was quite odd and embarrassing to know that there is someone seeing his every move now.
But how can he get out of this house without any cameras seeing? And if he takes some kind of backpack with him, they'd surely understand what's going on.

After putting on the clothes, Frans headed downstairs to look for Pixie.
He spotted the woman near the aquarium between the kitchen and living room, feeding the fish.
Hurriedly he scanned the area, making sure the cameras are far enough and they wouldn't hear.

"Hey Pixie."

He said quietly, startling the woman. Pixie was so much shorter then Frans. Her wide eyes met with Frans excited ones and the woman narrowed her eyes.

"Don't sneak up on people like that, Frans"

"Sorry I had to ruin your conversation with fish."

Frans rolled his eyes but grunted when Pixie hit the side of his head with a fish food can.

"Yeez woman, no need to be so violent."

He said, scratching the side of his head. His hair was still uncomfortably wet he noticed.

"Anyways, before you start lecturing me, I need you to help me."

"You need to rest."

Pixie said, crossing her arms she stared up at the boy.

"I didn't even say anything!"

"Your eyes did, and I'm not going to help you sneak out! Besides look at yourself! When was the last time you got proper sleep or even a full meal? You haven't been home lately either, I have so many new recipes you need to try and-"

"Felicity, please."

After hearing her name, not nickname, Pixie looked back up again. Frans held her gaze, he needed to get out . The place was suffocation him.
Pixie sighed and nodded a little.

"But first you need to eat something. Come come now, I'll warm you up some lasagna."

Frans followed the woman into the kitchen, thinking through the road he's gonna take to get to the hospital. He can't obviously take any of his cars, which means he's gonna have to take a taxi or a bus. He should probably take his wallet and perhaps try and buy a new phone from somewhere as well, why hadn't he though of that before?

Without noticing it, the plate was empty and there wasn't even any orange juice left. Pixie stared at him wide eyed.

"Want some more?"

"Nope I'm good."

He doesn't even remember when was the last time he felt so full. Maybe he ate a bit too much.

"So, how am I going to get out?"

"Wait, you want to go now?"

"No, next year."

Why was he being so rude to Pixie was a question he couldn't seem to find an answer for.
The woman's gaze hardened.

"I'm sorry," Frans blurted out. "I'm just a little bit stressed, that's all."

The woman's eyes softened and he peeked over to the guards.

"It's okay, so, when you lay on your bed and look up, you can see a small trap-door in the ceiling. If you pull that, it comes with a latter that leads you up to attic. It's quite easy as your bed is a blind spot for the cameras. And already in the attic, there is a small round window, through that you can climb on the roof and on the tree behind the house, and if you jump far enough, you can get over the fence. But be careful, outside there are cameras as well."

"Thank you so much."

Before Frans could bolt upstairs, the woman's small hand rested on his.

"Be careful Frans."

Frans only smirked and nodded a little. Trying to assure the woman.

"Okey, go and get some sleep now!"

She said, a bit too loudly as she turned her back to Frans and went to do the dishes.
Frans jawned and dragged himself upstairs. He took his wallet and searched his jacket that he just threw on the bed. From the corner of his eye he noticed the blinking camera and he shuddered slightly.

Why now, suddenly management needed to know his every move? Isn't it a bit too controlling?

It didn't matter at the moment, but the question kept bugging him in the back of his mind.

He took a deep breath in and out and he went to pull down the ladder to get to the attic.

Is it even interesting? It seems lately that people don't like that book so, well, I don't know.

What do you think of it anyways?
