Once they had all eaten and the boys had headed to their concert, Sun-Hee decided she didn't want to sit around her hotel room all day and pout. She was deeply disappointed not to go to the concert but it was only going to be worse if she sat around and moped.

So she took a shower and got dressed in jeans and a hoody and her converse high tops. She braided her hair into two braids and put on the hat and mask Dal had given her for the airport. She grabbed her cross body bag and opened her door.

She was surprised to find someone standing right on the other side of her door. Dal turned around and lifted his eyebrows at her. "Are you going out?"

"Yes, I thought I'd go see a couple of sites in Tokyo since I'll just get more and more depressed if I sit in the hotel all day. I'm going to go to the Imperial Palace and the Senso-ji Temple. And maybe a museum after that." Then she frowned a little. "Shouldn't you be with the guys today? I'd feel a lot better if you were at their concert watching over them."

Dal shook his head, "No, there are plenty of guards watching them. I'll go out with you."

Sun-Hee was in the hall now headed to the elevators. "Oh, I'll be fine, you don't have to follow me around all day. No one knows who I am."

Dal chuckled a little as they stepped on to the elevator, "Okay, so I guess you haven't figured out yet that you are my assignment. I'm assigned to protect you. You may think you don't need a bodyguard, but Big Hit has brought you here and has a contract with you. They have assigned me to protect you and so I'll go with you on your sight seeing."

Sun-Hee's eyes got big. "I have a bodyguard? Huh." She thought about that. "I have a bodyguard. Wow, that is really a weird thing to say. What exactly does Big Hit think you will be protecting me from out in the city of Tokyo? I can't even imagine a scenario that I would need to be protected."

They were walking out of the elevator now and making their way through the lobby to the street. Dal didn't want to scare her but he wanted her to understand she needed him there. "This is a big city. What if you were to get injured or lost? Or what if you got attacked by some gang members?"

Sun-Hee scrunched up her nose as Dal hailed a cab. "There are gangs in Tokyo?"

A cab pulled right over and they got in. "Yes, they have a definite organized crime problem here."

Once in the cab Sun-Hee said, "Yeah, but..."

Dal took her hands and told the driver, "Imperial Palace." Then to Sun-Hee, "Listen, I know it is weird for you, but think about it this way, if something happened to you, your soulmate would be in danger. We don't want that, now do we?" Dal was careful not to use names like Jungkook and Big Hit.

Finally Sun-Hee understood, "Ohhhhh, protecting me to protect him! I see. Sorry, I guess I'm slow. Okay, I'm on board. But let's have a good day, okay? Will you eat with me and souvenir shop and enjoy the day? I really need a nice day since I'm missing out on what I wanted to do."

Dal gave her a small smile but didn't commit to having fun. This gave Sun-Hee a mission. She was going to make him have a fun day with her whether he wanted to or not.

And she did. They toured the Imperial Palace. When Dal wouldn't take a selfie with her, she started just 'accidentally' taking pictures with him in the background and texting them to him. He finally laughed and said, "Okay, one selca, then you have to stop." They took an amazing selfie with the bridge and castle in the background.

When they went to the souvenir shop, Dal refused to pick out a souvenir. So Sun-Hee started to threaten to buy him the most hideous things. They got more and more expensive the longer he took to find something he wanted. He finally found a wide silver ring with an impression of the castle on it. It wasn't expensive and he liked it. Sun-Hee gave him a pointed look, "Okay, I'll buy the ring instead of the three meter mural, as long as you wear it. I don't know though, that giant scale model of the castle is very temping." Dal wore the ring.

Sun-Hee wanted food before going to the Temple. So she got on her phone and found an authentic Japanese restaurant on the way to the Temple. When their cab pulled up, the location met with Dal's approval. They went inside. Sun-Hee told Dal, "I'll let you pick the safest table if you will eat with me."

By this time Dal had given up on resisting. He sat in the corner seat so he had a view of the whole restaurant. Sun-Hee looked at the menu, "There are too many things I want to try. Can we just order several and share? You don't have a special diet do you? Are you allergic to anything?"

Dal shook his head. "You order and we'll share."

Sun-Hee smiled. She ordered a platter of sushi, tempura, and selection of yakitori which is meat skewers. The food was delicious and even though there was a lot, they finished it all.

They got in a cab and headed to the Senso-ji Temple. They discovered there was a tunnel of shops leading up to the Temple entrance. It was called the Nakamise shopping street and it was extremely crowded. Dal looked nervous.

Sun-Hee raised her eyebrows at him. "Should we skip it? We could do a museum instead."

Dal looked around. He was glad that she was starting to be more compliant. "No, I think we are okay."

There were shops on either side of the walkway. People selling everything from sweets, to clothes, to souvenirs. There were many specialty shops like one with handmade fans, another with silk scarves, and even a shop of just chopsticks. Sun-Hee stopped and bought special chopsticks for each of the boys. She enjoyed picking a special set that each one would like. Some had inlaid wood designs others were hand painted.

Sun-Hee also found a gorgeous purple silk scarf and a set of hand painted postcards for herself. She thought she could frame the postcards and hang them in the entry way of her apartment.

They toured the Temple which was the oldest in Tokyo, built in 645. The ceiling of the Temple was covered in ancient painted murals that were breathtaking. There were also the most amazingly intricate golden shrines. Sun-Hee was overwhelmed by the beauty of it all.

The sun was going down and Sun-Hee was starting to get tired. She really thought she was going to have energy for a museum also but now that it was later in the day, she realized she was losing energy fast. She hadn't been able to soul bond mid-day like she was used to, and it was starting to catch up with her. Dal suggested they head back to the hotel and Sun-Hee agreed.

Sun-Hee nearly fell asleep in the cab on the way back. Dal walked her to her room. She thanked Dal for the nice day and told him she would text him if she needed anything. She planned to stay in her room until the boys returned. She hoped he would also get some rest.

Sun-Hee knew the concert was in full swing. She had avoided texting the boys all day because she wanted them to focus on their concert. She had gotten one text from them, a group picture of them in their white suits before the show with the caption 'wish us luck'. Which she did right away. But she thought Jungkook looked a little tired in the picture. She hoped he would get some days off this week to rest.

Sun-Hee decided to go down for a bit of a nap. She fell asleep instantly after having woken up so early and being low on her soul energy.

Sun-Hee was dreaming away so she didn't wake to the knocks at her door. Dal had to use the key card to let himself in.

Dal shook her awake. "Sun-Hee! I need you to wake up. Jungkook has collapsed at his concert and he needs to soul bond with you." Sun-Hee was immediately awake.

"Where is he?" Sun-Hee wanted to know, she was still groggy from being asleep.

"He is still at the stadium, they are finishing the concert. Will you go to him?" Dal was taking her hand and getting her up.

Sun-Hee had a worried expression, "Of course!"

They ran to the elevators and out the door to a car that Big Hit had rented. Dal sat in the front with the driver and Sun-Hee sat in the back seat. She had her phone in her hand in case anyone texted. The car ride was excruciatingly slow, in her opinion. Her knee jiggled up and down on the ride to the stadium. She held herself back from yelling at the driver, 'You could have totally made that light!' or 'Pass this car!'

Her mind went over all the scenarios of why Jungkook could collapse. He pushed himself amazingly hard. But she had thought he was so used to his difficult schedule that nothing like this would happen. The weird thing is that there weren't signs. Normally people show signs that they are getting exhausted. She wondered if he might have been hiding those.

They finally arrived at the stadium. Sun-Hee was proud of herself for not yelling 'Its about time!' Dal showed his badge to get through the security checkpoint into the stadium backlot. They drove around to behind the stage. Dal turned to her, "They are bringing him to the car." Dal hopped out to help get him in.

The back car door opened and Dal laid Jungkook on top of her. He was completely passed out. Sun-Hee realized that she hadn't prepared any skin to bond. She told Dal to take off his shirt. At the same time she whipped her hoody and t-shirt off in one efficient movement. She honestly didn't care who saw her in her bra at this point.

Dal had gotten Jungkook's shirt off, and Sun-Hee grabbed him in a big hug, pulling him up and leaning over at the same time. She felt the surge of soul bonding and was so grateful it was working. She brushed the hair off of his forehead. His eyes were closed and he was really pale. "Jungkook, I'm here. It's okay now. I'm here."

She peppered kisses over his face as she held him tight. She felt his arms come around her into a hug. And she gave a big sigh of relief. He would be okay. Her tears came then, tears of relief. She felt bad for crying all over his face. But it hadn't been that long ago that it had been him crying on her in the back seat of a car. The irony of the situation was not lost on her.

She looked at his pale face starting to get some color. He hadn't opened his eyes yet. She lowered her mouth onto his because they had found it was one of the strongest ways to bond. Jungkook kissed back. They weren't passionate kisses, they were desperate, soul bonding kisses. Holding each other's lips in theirs for long moments. Feeling the joy wash down their bodies.

Sun-Hee hadn't noticed that the car was moving until they pulled up to the hotel. Dal told her to put her shirt on so they could open the door and carry him in. Sun-Hee grabbed her sweatshirt and threw it on over her head. Several Big Hit staff came out of the hotel to help carry Jungkook in. They opened the back door and helped him out. He was able to move a bit on his own now. Sun-Hee hopped out after him.

At that moment, a car pulled up right behind them and several people jumped out with cameras. Sun-Hee would learn later than they were followed from the stadium when Jungkook didn't perform in the finale at the concert. Lots of flashes of light as the paparazzi took photos. Sun-Hee held her hand up at the flashing in her face and ran into the hotel.

Dal tried to negotiate with the paparazzi, offering money for deleting the photos but they declined and got into their cars and drove off.
