Jimin and Tae looked at each other in horror. Had Sun-Hee just heard what they said? She must have, because otherwise why would she have run out like that? They stood frozen, not knowing what to do. Then the entire house heard an anguished, guttural yell come from Jungkook's room.

Jungkook came running to the living room in a panic. "What happened? Where is she? I can feel her pain." He looked from Tae to Jimin, neither of which wanted to confess. "Tell me now or I'm going to beat the shit out of you both."

Jimin started talking, "We didn't know she was there. Tae said it's hard to have her around and I said it wasn't your fault, you don't get to choose your soulmate. And Tae said that you probably wouldn't have chosen her because you hated her before. Then she ran out. We think she heard."

In one movement Jungkook grabbed Tae by the throat and held him against the wall. "You know NOTHING! Of all the stupid thoughtless things to say! If anything happens to her because of you, I will never forgive you! NEVER!" The rest of the seven men were there in the living room now. They pulled Jungkook off of Tae who had a very red neck. Tae sat on the couch catching his breath and holding his neck.

Jimin again explained what happened to the rest of the group. Yoongi asked if they had skin bonded tonight. Jungkook shook his head, his face as angry as they had ever seen it.

Yoongi took control, "We need to find her. Hoseok, go check her apartment. Has anyone texted her?"

Jungkook was breathing hard but he was able to say, "She doesn't have her phone." He was pacing back and forth and every once in a while giving Tae and Jimin a glare that showed how close to murder Jungkook was.

Namjoon and Jin were grabbing shoes and coats and keys.

Jimin looked at his phone, "Hobi says she isn't answering her door."

Yoongi turned and pointed at Tae, "You stay here, you've caused enough trouble. Jimin, text Hoseok and tell him to stay by her door in case she returns. The rest of us need to go look for her."

Jimin picked up Sun-Hee's backpack, "Her keys are in here! I'll bring them to Hobi so we can check her apartment."

Hobi stayed in Sun-Hee's empty apartment. The other five piled into the car. Jin drove, Namjoon rode in the front. Yoongi sat between Jungkook and Jimin in the back. They stopped at the guard house on their way out. The guard was able to point the direction she ran.

Everyone in the car actively scanned the street for any sign of Sun-Hee. Jungkook was still freaking out. Yoongi put his hand on Jungkook's shoulder, "We will find her, but you have to calm down. You can feel where she is if you can calm down and listen."

Jungkook shook his head, "We haven't fully bonded yet, I haven't even kissed her on the lips. I don't think I can feel her."

"What happened when you yelled in the apartment?" Yoongi wanted to know. "Did you feel her then?"

"Yes, I felt her pain, something was ripping her apart inside." Jungkook's face cringed in pain with the memory.

"So you can feel her then. Quiet yourself and listen for her. She is hurting, you can find her." Yoongi had done the most research on soulmates so Jungkook trusted him. Jungkook nodded and tried to calm down, for her.

---

Sun-Hee tried to rally herself. She was slumped over on a bench, God knows where in the middle of Seoul, Korea. She would die if she didn't get a grip and figure this out. She was in so much pain knowing Jungkook didn't care for her, but she was not suicidal. She had a future, even though it wasn't the one with Jungkook. She thought about her parents, she thought about BTS. She knew that if she died people's lives would be changed and hurt forever. She didn't want to cause that. She had been through hard times before. This one would take a lot more therapy than last time but she wanted to live, damn it. She needed to get help. She reached for her back pocket for her phone but remembered setting it on Jungkook's night stand. Damn it again.

Plan B, there are people walking by, one of them might be able to help her. If one of them could get her back to her apartment she could skin bond. She heard herself say, "Help." and reached out a bit to the people walking by. One woman looked at her with disgust and moved to walk farther from the bench. Oh no, they think I'm drunk. She tried a couple more times but she really didn't have the energy. Sadness filled her as she realized she really could die laying here on this bench.

But luckily for her, two men approached her, "Hey, are you all right? Do you need some help?"

Sun-Hee nodded slightly and used up her last energy to say, "Please help me."

"Okay, okay, we'll help you out sweetie." One of the men said. The two men lifted her up and took her a block away to their apartment.

Once inside they sat her on the couch which was right inside the door. "You don't look so good," one of them said. "Do you need a drink?"

Sun-Hee nodded slightly. But they didn't bring her water, they brought her some kind of alcohol. It quenched her dry throat a bit and burned down to her stomach. Sun-Hee thought it might help with the pain so she drank as much as she could stand. She needed to tell these man what was wrong with her. "...need my ....soulmate." She was able to just squeak out.

"Don't worry babe, we are way ahead of you. We were going to wait for the alcohol to take effect, but then we planned to become soulmates with you. But you sound eager so we can get started." One of the men started undoing his pants.

Sun-Hee started to panic. She tried to shake her head and say 'no' but she couldn't really move or even barely talk. She needed Jungkook. Her head lolled back onto the couch. Tears started running down her face. Jungkook. Kookie. Please find me. I need you. Please. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Please. Jungkook.

She felt their hands on her, one was trying to pull on her sweatshirt, the other was undoing her pants. She wanted to scream for help but didn't have the energy. All she could think of was 'what a horrible way to die'. She shed tears for her parents, she shed tears for her BTS boys, she shed tears for herself. Then blackness.

At that moment the front door next to her exploded. The two men looked up to see five angry, fairly familiar, faces looking at them. The one with his pants around his ankles said, "Oh, shit!" But when he tried to run his pants tripped him and he went over like a fallen tree. Namjoon grabbed the other one and held his hands behind his back. Jimin and Jin were getting their fists ready. They were pissed and they were not going to hold back.

Yoongi said, "Jungkook take her to the car to bond. We will take care of the these two."

Jungkook grabbed Sun-Hee and ran to the car. To be honest he wanted to both bond with her and stay and beat the living tar out of those men. But he knew his Hyungs would take care of it. Those men wouldn't be in functioning condition for a while.

He climbed in the car with Sun-Hee on his lap, she looked so pale, her pulse was barely there. He put his hand under her shirt on her back and kissed her face. But he was horrified to find that he wasn't getting very much warm-joy feeling. It was barely warm where he was touching her. His tears started in full force, "Please, Sun-Hee, please! Honey you have to bond with me."

The men came out of the house and got back in the car, they looked a little more tousled than they had on the way in. They all saw that Jungkook was crying and desperate. "She's not bonding with me, I don't know what to do!"

As Jin started the car and drove towards home, Yoongi touched Sun-Hee's head then looked at Jungkook, "Think about why she is here, she heard Tae say you don't want her. Tell her. Tell her when you first started wanting her and how you feel. Give her a reason to fight."

Jungkook nodded, took a deep breath and spoke from his heart, "Sun-Hee, I've loved you from the first moment I met you. I walked into the apartment from my trip and you were there. And you were so beautiful and I wanted you to be mine. I had the overwhelming desire to kiss you. I knew it was inappropriate, but I decided to just walk over and kiss you. Then Tae came in and asked if I met his girlfriend. And I was so jealous. I knew you were supposed to be mine but I could never hurt my Hyung. So I lashed out at Tae in the kitchen, but then you overheard my terrible words."

He kissed her face while he talked. Was there color returning to her cheeks, he couldn't tell. "Every time I saw you I wanted to grab you and pull you in my lap and kiss you. I was jealous of everyone, Jimin kissing your neck, Tae sleeping in your bed, Namjoon taking you on a date. I didn't deal with my jealousy well and I acted angry and mean. But I loved you the whole time. The best day of my entire life was the day I discovered you were my soulmate. I would have picked you above any other woman. You are the perfect soulmate for me and if you die, I will die too, of a broken heart. So please. Please baby, come back to me. I need you so bad."

He had wanted for their first kiss on the lips to be mutual, but if he didn't save her right now, then they wouldn't even get a first kiss. So he lowered his lips on to hers. He could taste his tears and the alcohol she drank. Then all at once the warm-joy shot through his lips and filled his body. Her lips were moving and kissing him back. He was so thankful. He whispered to her. "Thank you, thank you, thank you."

Yoongi looked away at that point. "Well, I guess it worked. That is good, but I'm not glad to be having to sit awkwardly next to this."

As Yoongi turned the other way, Jimin noticed a little blood on Yoongi's cheek. "You have blood on your cheek."

Yoongi brought up his hand, "It is all over my fist also." He showed it to Jimin.

Jungkook looked up, "Tell me you killed them."

Jimin answered, "No, but they wished we had killed them. Life will be tougher for them, but I think better for the female population in general" Jungkook decided he didn't want to know.

Once they were parked in the parking garage, Jungkook carried Sun-Hee to the elevator. Sun-Hee mumbled "3". Jungkook guessed she didn't want to go to the penthouse. So he and Sun-Hee stopped at her floor and the rest of the men continued up.

Hobi answered the door when Jungkook knocked. They got her onto her bed. Jungkook looked at Hoseok, "I need to get her into less clothes so we can bond." Hobi nodded and Jungkook knew Hobi was the best choice to help with this. Hoseok went into her closet and came right back out with a tank top and shorts.

Trying to be as respectful as possible they helped Sun-Hee out of her clothes and into the tank and shorts. Jungkook threw off his shirt and pants and climbed into her bed in his boxers and pulled her to him. He looked at Hobi, "Can you take Jin her key and ask him to bring her something to eat. She is in no condition to eat right now but she will be really hungry soon."

Hobi nodded and touched Sun-Hee's hair. "I'm so glad you found her. What would we have done without her?"

About ten minutes later Jin brought in a bowl of soup and a bowl with rice and meat and some bottles of water. He cleared a spot on the nightstand and laid it all out. He sat down on the edge of the bed and petted Sun-Hee's hair. "How's our girl doing?"

Jungkook smiled, "Better, much better. I can feel the bonding is strong right now, she will be okay." His smile dropped as he told Jin, "I was so scared. I really think I might have died if she didn't make it."

Jin was still stroking Sun-Hee's hair. "It would have been the hardest thing we ever had to deal with." Then Jin touched Junkook's shoulder, "Tae wants to come in, would that be okay?"

Jungkook shook his head, "It would be better if he didn't."

But Jin pressed, "He has been sick with worry that Sun-Hee would die because of him. I think he needs to see that she is okay. He seems really remorseful. Also, you did almost choke him to death. We had to pull you off him."

Jungkook sighed, "Fine. But he can only stay a minute, then you need to take him out of here." Jin nodded.

Jin called for Tae. When he came into the bedroom, Jungkook could see that he looked terrible. It was obvious Tae had been crying, his whole face was red. Jungkook could see Tae would have bruises on his neck and he felt a slight twang of guilt. Jungkook decided to forgive Tae and try to make amends. He also knew that is what Sun-Hee would want. "Tae, she is fine. I'm sorry that I hurt you and threatened you. This soulmate thing is new to me and I know I'm not dealing with it all perfectly."

Tae shook his head, "No, it was my fault. I didn't see what was obvious, that you love her. I was being selfish. She is your soulmate. I'm so sorry." Tae half-heartedly reached for Sun-Hee. "Is she really okay? I was so worried. I knew we would never be the same if she didn't come back. And it would have been all my fault."

Jungkook took Tae's hand and put it on Sun-Hee's shoulder. "She is fine, she is just tired. Do you feel how warm her skin is?" Tae nodded and gave a big sigh. She was okay.

"Where did you find her?" Tae asked, innocently enough.

Jungkook's face got dark. "I'll let someone else tell you, okay? We can talk more later."

Jin and Tae left so Jungkook and Sun-Hee could bond. Jungkook was still emotional after the night's events. One thing had solidified itself in his brain, he wanted Sun-Hee to be his for the rest of his life. He started to make a plan for how to make that happen.
