CHAPTER THIRTY THREE

"I thought you was done with me." A smile appeared on Dre's lips as Amoura stood at his door

"So I'm supposed to not let you see your daughter?" She frowned "Please shut up."

She stepped in with the car seat in her hand. It was covered with a pink cover and clover was in there bundled up. She was really supposed to be in the house unless it was an emergency or doctors appointment. But Amoura figured since they weren't going to be out in the cold weather it wasn't a problem. On her left shoulder was Clovers bag with everything she needed.

"Where Ace bad ass at?" Dre asked as he closed the door

"Home with his papa. He didn't wanna come cause they making cookies."

"His opp ass." He took the bag from Amoura making her laugh

"Not too much on my son now."

Going over to the couch she sat down and put the car seat in front of her. Taking the the cover off, clover was fast sleep.

"She's been sleep for a minute now." Amoura said as she unbuckled her "That's literally all she does. Ace never slept this much as a newborn."

"That's cause her ass ain't got no fuckin bills to pay or shit to worry about."

Amoura laughed "Well yeah duh."

She grabbed her out her car seat and Clovers face immediately changed.

"She hates to be woken up." Amoura laughed watching her

"I see. She look mad as hell."

"Here." She tried handing clover over to him

Dre took her and put her on his chest. He didn't know how to feel.

"She's only three weeks old Dre you have to hold her head or that shit will fall back."

"Chill I'm learning." He said "This shit fresh."

"You never dealt with anybody else baby before?"

"Fuck no. Ian never fucked with kids. Toddlers get a pass but a baby? Hell no."

Amoura laughed "You're so annoying. Well you gotta get used to it now."

Dre was in complete awe right now which was way outta his comfort zone. He now had a baby and the feeling was so new to him. All he was thinking was although this human wasn't in his life that long he loved her regardless. She didn't talk, she didn't do much but he loved her already.

Amoura sat with her legs up as she watched them. He put her in his hands and just looked at her. He could see some of Amouras resemblance in her. Her eyes was now open as she stared right back at Dre. Her big almond eyes. She had Dre's eyes and his eyebrow shape.

"She's looking like so this is my daddy?" Amoura laughed

Dre looked at her straight faced, making her laugh harder "And she lucky as hell. Fuck is you talking bout."

Clover started smiling which made Amoura smile.

"Adorable ass. You got my smile and shit but with straight gums." He said looking down at her

Amoura chuckled "Dre this is a baby you talking to please be more... I don't kn—"

"You want me to talk like a damn baby? Y'all be sounding so annoying when y'all do that shit." He said "Nah not me."

"Oh my gosh."

"Look at her smiling. You in the way."

"Whatever."

Watching their interaction was everything to Amoura. And of course she was solely focused on that, but she was also in the back of her mind wanting to seriously talk to him about them. But, she knew he would just be right and rub that in. Saying she wasn't done with him as she said she was. She loved everything about him and seeing him bond with their child just put the cherry on top. So yeah she was in a vulnerable place right now. She wanted him.

When Clover started crying she could see Dre looking almost like he was over it.

"This where you step in. Cause Ion know what to do with it."

"Don't call her an it." Amoura laughed as she took her from him "You definitely need to get used to saying Clover."

"Four leaf clover head ass."

"That's the whole point." She said, taking her boob out for Clover

She started breast feeding Clover which immediately shut her up. She wanted to do it with her daughter since she didn't with Ace. He was on formula because she was younger and was only told to do formula.

"No weird shit but if I suck on your nipples imma be drinking milk too?"

"Dre please shut up. I had a feeling you was gonna take advantage of this situation." She laughed "And that's a dumb question of course you would."

"Lemme taste."

"Anyways." She rubbed over Clovers hair, watching her eyes slowly closing as she was getting tired

When she was finished she put clover who was sleeping inside her car seat.

"I didn't expect her to go back to sleep as quick." She said "She's literally always tired though."

"Nah that's coo. That just mean we got time."

"Time for?"

He licked over his lips "Come here."

"Noooo. I'm waiting a month before I start back and we not together anyway."

"So who you waiting to fuck?"

"Not you. Mind ya business pooh."

His face turned serious "Say on folks you fucking another nigga?"

"No but don't mean I can't."

"Sound crazy as fuck."

"Same way you can I can."

He shook his head "You tryna be on some hoe shit?"

"You have well over ten bodies plus more, please. If I had sex with another guy I'm nowhere near a hoe like you. Just someone that moved on."

"Either wake Clover up or get the fuck on. You ain't got no other reason to be here."

"You are such an asshole." Amoura laughed "The fact I'm not looking forward to having sex with anybody else but I see where you stand if I wanted to. I'm a hoe in your eyes and it makes you mad even though it shouldn't if we not even together..."

"You was in your feeling bout the same shit when we wasn't together."

"Well yeah, cause I developed feelings for you... that was after the fact. At first I didn't really care enough."

"Shit crazy." He laughed a little

"I was joking around and you did the fucking most. Don't be forgetting I ended things because you hung up on me."

"Over me hanging up."

"Over that and built up anger over other shit you do."

"You not done with me."

"And what makes you think that?"

"Cause I know you." He said "You stuck."

"Imagine..."

"I am."

In the back of Amoura's mind she knew he was right. She could front and even go a few days being good without Dre but she was in love with him. She felt attached and being angry over one situation couldn't make her leave him alone forever. She loved being in his arms. She felt protected by him.

She got up and went to the kitchen to grab a water and leave. While in there she could hear Dre coming. Although she always knew how this went she still stayed where she was. He came behind her and started kissing her neck.

"You really gone leave me?" He said, turning her around to face him before kissing her lips a couple times "Hm?"

"I can." She said with a slight shrug

"We went through this shit before."

"I know."

"I told you when you get with me I'm possessive as fuck. I warned you. You not calling shit off. As far as I'm concerned we together still."

Amoura face turned into a slight frown "I'm sorry come again?"

He laughed a little "As far as I'm concerned. We still together. Like I said, you not calling shit off as long as I'm breathing. You can't get rid of me what part about me being possessive you didn't understand? You heard me say that shit and you looked me in my eyes and said you don't care, be possessive over you. I ain't forget."

"Okay yeah but you acting all crazy like you gone hurt me if I try to leave you."

"I ain't gone hurt you. Damn sure gone give you hell bout this shit but I'll never hurt you."

"Whatever Dre."

She tried not to look at the situation as anything scary. She knew how Dre was but she didn't expect this. She figured he was only saying this to try and scare her. Which she wasn't going to let be shown.

"I love you." He said leaning in to kiss her

Amoura kissed him back. He grabbed her neck and put his tongue in. Amoura followed along and let him as they shared a heated tongue kiss. Amoura moaned into his mouth as their bodies came closer. She could feel his hard on through his sweats. She rubbed it slightly before then pulling away.

"What's the problem?"

"There isn't one but I have to get her home and get her in her bed."

"We can't just do a lil some real quick?"

"No. I'm not in the mood. Maybe next time."

"I ain't had none in weeks man. I'm tired of beating... I needa be in you."

"Well, I'm sorry about that but I'm just not in the mood right now."

"I can respect it. But imma do the same shit next time you horny."

"And that's fine with me because if you're not in the mood for whatever reason, I'm completely okay with that."

"Let me know when you get home."

"I will."

They gave each other a kiss and Amoura got Clover and her things, soon leaving.

When she got back home Ace and her papa was eating and watching some movie that was on. Amoura left clover with her papa so she could shower. Being in there her mind was able to run without any interruptions. Her stomach had went down a lot and she just had a little bit of loose skin that she could work off.

She washed her body and washed her hair while in there which took over an hour. After getting out she slipped on some comfortable clothing and went downstairs to get Clover. Ace was too busy with her papa to wanna spend time with her so she had clover. Making a spot for clover on her bed she laid beside her and played with her daughter. Admiring everything about her.

"Manifesting nothing but good things to come to you as you grow up princess." She said "I will give you nothing but the best upbringing so you don't have to grow up how mommy did."

She couldn't help but laugh when clover started smiling. She couldn't look at her daughter without thinking about Dre. She was also a now constant reminder of him. Amoura grabbed her phone and checked it. She texted her friends back and went to her and Dre messages.

Amoura was kinda iffy about going to his moms house with him. She's well aware how his mom is and they could clash any moment because Amoura would be quick to say something back. His mom said slick things before and she let it go. This time she was not gonna put up with it.

Amoura changed Clovers diaper and mad her a bottle from pumping. After rocking her for a minute and having calming baby music from YouTube clover was knocked out. She placed her in her bassinet which was next to her bed. She made sure not to have anything in there with her that could possibly smother her.

Ace came in her room in his footies pajamas and jumped on her bed.

"Sissy sleeping?" He asked trying to see in her bassinet

"Yes she's sleep which you need to be doing."

"I not tired." He laughed "Could I play a game on your phone."

"I'm about to call Dre." She said laughing "You wanna talk to him?"

"Mhm hm." He nodded "I miss him."

"Do you? I'm sure he misses you too." Amoura said clicking on his contact

A few seconds later he answered and was getting out the car.

"Where you go?" Amoura asked

"Get some food. Why you worried?" He said, as he unlocked his door and went inside

"Because it's late and no reason for you to be out."

"It is when a nigga hungry."

"Learn how to cook then."

"Come over and teach me."

"One day. Lazy ass. Anyways Ace wanna say hi."

"What's good Ace?"

Ace started laughing "Nothing."

"When you tryna come over so I can kick ya ass in 2k?"

"I actually can kick your butt."

"Tell ya mom stop bullshitting and bring you over."

Ace started laughing and looked at Amoura.

"First of all watch your mouth. I'll bring him sometime this week."

"Bet it up."

They stayed on the phone for a minute till Amoura got tired.
