"Thor, calm down."

"I'm not ready to be a Father!"

"I'm not ready to be an Uncle but here we are" Loki muttered. "She's still a few days away."

"What's going on?" You questioned as you appeared in Thor's room, placing your new spell books on a table. "Is everything okay?"

"Thor is currently freaking out about Jane and the birth of his child" Wanda explained, using her magic to try and calm the God down. "It's not going well. I'm leave you to it, you'd do a better job than me."

As Wanda left, you turned to your husband and his brother to see what you could do to help.

"What if the child hates me?" Thor fretted, spinning his hammer absentmindedly, Loki having to dodge it every few swings.

"How could it hate you Thor? You'd be a great Father" you smiled, conjuring a box of pop tarts and passing it to him. "You have so many fun ideas, care and love that a child needs."

"And what child wouldn't want the God of Thunder, the future King of Asgard and all the Nine Realms as their Father?" Loki added, Thor looking up at him in surprise. "You'll be fine Brother, trust me."

"I do trust you" Thor answered, his eyes tearing up as he nearly knocked his brother hugging him tightly. "Thank you Loki."

"All right" he answered awkwardly as Thor continued to hug him, patting his shoulder. "You can let go now."

"You're my favourite brother Loki, you always have been" Thor sobbed, squeezing him tighter. "I missed not having you around for so many years, I was so lonely but now I get to have you here with me everyday."

"That's - lovely" Loki wheezed, his pale skin starting to turn red.

"Hey Thor? Buddy? Your favourite Brother can't breathe" you said hurriedly, Thor finally letting go. "There we go."

"I'm your only Brother by the way" Loki grinned after taking a deep breath. "Therefore I'm your least and most favourite, all rolled into one."

"Haha very funny" Thor laughed, wiping his eyes. "I suppose my biggest worry is turning out like our Father Lokes. I don't want to be like that for my kids. You didn't deserve the treatment he gave you, and I'm scared that... I'll be like that. That it's in my blood."

Loki didn't reply, looking at the floor for a moment before taking a breath.

"You won't Thor" he answered finally, his voice heavy. "You were a wonderful older sibling to me, even if I was too angry with Odin most of the time to see it. If you are the same for your child, then they will turn out to be wonderful. You're not dictated by the way your Father acted, and you are a thousand times better than he ever was and will be."

"Are you crying?" Thor asked in shock.

"No."

"I think you are."

"I'm not saying anything nice to you ever again."

Thor boomed with laughter, giving his brother a much gentler hug as he sniffled slightly. "I'm kidding brother. Thank you. You're going to be an amazing Uncle. And you an amazing Aunt N/n."

"Thanks Thor" you smiled as he hugged you tightly, Loki watching carefully that you don't get crushed.

"I need to go talk to Jane" he announced, patting your head before leaving the room.

"I see you got new spell books" Loki said, turning away from you to pick one up. "That's good."

"You don't have to hide your emotions from me Lokes" you sighed, walking up behind him and placing a hand on his back. "I can tell."

"I'm fine love."

Reaching up, you wiped a stray tear from his cheek. "You missed one."

He sighed, turning to face you. "I didn't know that's what he was worried about. I don't want him to think he'll turn out like Odin because of our bad relationship."

"He'll figure it out" you replied comfortingly, stretching up to kiss cheek. "He looks up to you, and he just wants you to be happy."

"But I am happy. For the most part. Because I have you now."

"Have you told him that?"

He didn't answer.

"That's his worry. He worries that when you're not happy, it's his or Odin's fault" you explained.

"How do you know this?" He questioned.

"Thor talked to me about a while ago, when we all first found out Jane was pregnant."

He nodded slowly before pressing a kiss to your forehead. "Thank you darling. I'll talk to him later."

"Thats a good idea."

"Now, let's see these spell books."

I'M BACK GUYS, FINALLY

I'm so sorry for not being active, but I'm finally getting my mojo back and I'll hopefully be updating more often! :)

Anyway, I wanted to ask, how do you all feel about the Reader being pregnant at some point in this fic? I know a lot of people hate the idea, but I've also had a lot of people asking for it, so I'm not sure what to do. Feel free to let me know in the comments, I'm not offended either way🫶
