"So you think I'm hot."

You looked up from the bubbling potion to see Loki leaning back on the counter opposite you, grinning.

"I don't recall saying that" you answered, smirking.

"I think you do" he said, watching you cut up dandelion roots. You kept your head down, determinedly not looking at Loki. Suddenly you felt a whisper of breath at your ear.

"By the way, you make a very good girlfriend."

You jumped, and turned around, but he was gone.

"Oh my Norns" you muttered, putting your head in hands.

"You alright darling?" You looked up again to see Loki walking into the kitchen with an innocent expression.

"Don't do that!" you replied, pointing your knife at him.

"Do what?"

"Whisper things in my ear then disappear!"

He smirked before tapping his chin in fake thought. "Hm, I don't recall doing that" he quoted, grinning.

You glared at him, folding your arms.

"Love your potions going to boil over."

You sighed and looked down, returning to your cutting after stirring the cauldron.

"Fine, maybe I did say that" you muttered.

"Pardon darling? I didn't quite catch that" he said, his grin widening.

"Fine, maybe I did say that" you said a bit louder, glaring at him.

"Thank you dear" he said smugly, before walking over sitting on the bench beside you.

"You look cute when you blush" he said.

"When did I blush??" you demanded, and he chuckled.

"You blush all the time my dear, but I do remember one particular incident where I kissed you on the forehead after telling... what ever her name is that I'm your boyfriend" he said, laughing as you punched him in the side.

"Are you always punching people?"

You both looked up to see Sharon and Steve standing in the doorway to the kitchen, Sharon looking disgusted and Steve looking excited.

"No not really, I prefer to stab people that piss me off, and you're getting pretty high on that list" you answered calmly, smirking as she shuffled closer to Steve.

"I have to refrain her from stabbing her friends on a daily basis" Loki said with a chuckle.

"That's because you're no fun" you answered with a pout.

"You know you love me" he said, kissing the top of your head. You blushed, internally cursing yourself as Loki grinned at your reaction.

"You're not a good a friend then" Sharon answered.

"Then why am I everyone's favourite in this tower?" you said, scraping the dandelion roots into the potion. It fizzed and bubbled before turning a murky brown colour. Steve watched excitedly.

"Not everyone."

You sighed.

"Really? And who would that be?" you said, not caring to look at her as you moved on, beginning to cut sparrow entrails.

"Me and Steve" she said smugly, folding her arms.

"Firstly, the correct grammar is Steve and I. Secondly, you don't count because you're only temporary. Thirdly, I'm ice block's bestie" you said.

"Steve? Me or her?" Sharon asked, looking up at him.

He sighed. "I'm not choosing between the two of you" he answered.

You and Loki burst out laughing, clutching your sides as Sharon's face dropped. She glared at you before turning to the soldier. "You're meant to pick me! I'm your girlfriend!"

"Well I love n/n as well." Loki's head shot up, his narrowed.

Steve saw and quickly held his hands in surrender, saying "Loki don't worry not in a romantic way."

"Come on" you whispered, gently taking his hand and pulling him off the counter. You waved your hand, vanishing the magical flame and putting a sign in front of the cauldron saying "Do not drink unless you want to die a painful death (I'm not kidding I don't have an antidote).

You led Loki out onto the balcony.

"Loki, look at me."

He turned to face you. He looked upset.

"Hey, Steve and I are just friends" you said, grabbing his other hand.

"I know" he whispered.

"Then what's wrong?"

He just sighed. "I envy the relationship you have with Steve" he finally answered.

"Loki, you know I love you" you said quietly.

"Do I?"

Slowly, you walked as close to him as possible. You stood up on your tip-toes to gently kiss him.

"You do now."

He looked at you, shocked, before a smile spread over his features. He gently grabbed your face, cupping your cheeks before kissing you again.

"Actually, the part I was referring to was about how open you get to be with him" he said, wrapping his arms you. He chuckled lightly. "However, this was an excellent way for you to admit that" he said cheekily. Then he turned serious.

"I love Y/n. Will you do me the honour of allowing me to court you?" He asked, looking down at you.

"Yes" you whispered, before saying "You are so formal." You grinned at him and he laughed.

"What can I say darling, I am a Prince. Now, shall we go deal with Steve's girlfriend?" he asked, smirking.

"Trouble in paradise?" Sharon asked, pleased she had an effect on you two.

You flicked your wrist, conjuring the flame under the cauldron again. Before you could answer, Loki did.

"No" he said simply, leaning down to kiss you. When he pulled away, you saw Sharon looking annoyed and Steve had the biggest grin on his face.

"Don't tell the others, I want to tell them" you said to Steve and he nodded.

"Tell them what?"

"None of your business" Loki answered, sitting elegantly back onto the counter. You sat beside him, finishing the potion.

"Whatever" she huffed, storming off. Steve turned to face you, smiling.

"Congrats" he whispered, before following after her.

You looked up at the God to see him smiling down at you.

"I do believe you blushed again earlier" he said, laughing as rolled your eyes.

"And?" you said challengingly, smirking.

"That proves my point" he said, smiling, before turning back to the potion as it began to froth.

"I love you Lokes."

"I love you too darling."

There was high pitched scream followed by "OH MY GOD GUYS IT HAPPENED IT FINALLY HAPPENED!"

You both jerked you heads up to see Wanda standing in the doorway, holding two newly printed photos, her face beyond thrilled.

She shrieked again and ran over to you, crushing you into a hug. Then she hugged Loki, saying something about "Finally getting around to it" and "Took you long enough."

"What's going on? We heard screams" Tony said, running into the kitchen with the rest of the team. Vision ran over to Wanda, who was jumping up and down in excitement.

"Tell them!" she squealed, hugging Vision. Everyone looked extremely confused but turned to you and Loki. You took a deep breath and spoke.

"Loki and I are courting" you said quietly.

Thor looked over his shoulder. "Lady Y/n The Captain Man's girlfriend is not here" he said.

You stayed silent. His eyes widened before he too started shrieking.

He ran over and enveloped you and Loki into a hug. "I have a sister!" he shouted, hugging you tighter.

"Thor were not married" you said with a laugh. He rolled his eyes. "No, duh, but you will be. You basically are" he said before turning back to the team excitedly. Loki looked down at you.

"Did I just hear Thor, the God of Thunder, use Midgardian... slang? Is that what its called?" he asked, making the group laugh as they walked over congratulate you.

"Yes, brother, you should try."

"No thank you" Loki said formally, cracking a grin as you laughed.

"He's too proper for that" Steve grinned, walking to join everyone, Sharon at his side.

"Indeed. I am a Prince after all" he said, smirking.

"And a God" Na said, squeezing the life out of you. You hugged her back, chuckling.

"The better one, might I add" you said. Loki wrapped an arm your waist, kissing the top of your head. "Thank you love" he said as Nat and Wanda hugged each other, jumping up and down like school girls.

"Natasha Romanoff, I thought you were meant to be an assassin, not a high schooler." Everyone stopped dead as a serious voice cut though your chatter.

"Sorry Sir" she said, stepping away from Wanda. He smiled.

"I'm just joking. Congratulations you two" Fury said, turning to you and Loki. Loki stiffened and you rubbed his back comfortingly.

"I have some news" he said. "Your gatekeeper man contacted us earlier today. He said he has been watching over you Loki and has reported back to Odin."

Loki rolled his eyes and groaned. "Typical Heimdall" he grumbled, and Thor laughed.

"Odin has lifted your punishment and is allowing you to return to Asgard" Fury said. Everyone froze and looked at Loki, who for some reason looked very calm.

"Tell him I send my thanks" he said. Fury looked confused.

"You aren't going back?"

Loki shook his head slowly. "I will go visit of course, but if it is okay with everyone I would like to stay here with you all" he said, looking around at the team.

There was silence.

"Welcome to the Avengers Loki" Fury said, smiling as everyone ran to hug him, even Tony.
