Feeling tears begin to form I put my face into his neck. I didn't mean to make him mad at me.

The elevator dinged signaling that we stopped. Caden started walking and I heard him tell Albert to get him a coffee. I lifted my head up to see that we are now in a much quieter lobby. Caden strolled bast the front desk with a lady who had cake on her face. "Good morning Mr. Davidson" she called after him but Caden just kept walking. I looked back at her to see her glaring at me. Meanie! I stuck my tongue out at her as the door closed in front of me.

Caden sat me in a chair facing the corner "Sit here, don't talk, don't move." He demanded and then sat behind his desk. Well this should be fun... Not! Lightly tapping the wall with my foot. This is boring.

"Caden!" I yelled over the chair. Looking back I could see him staring at his computer trying to ignore me. "Caden I'm bored." I whined.

Sitting back in his chair he looks at me "Work isn't supposed to be fun. It's work." He told me. Rolling my eyes I got out of my seat and skipped to his desk. Caden quickly exited out of the page he was on.

"What are you doing?" I asked standing next to him. Caden shook his head at me "Didn't I tell you to not move and talk? Over there" he pointed to the chair I the corner "away from me?" He added.

I nodded "yeah but I'm bored so what are you doing?" Caden looked at the computer then back to me.

"Its a surprise" he said than sent me back to the chair with his phone to play crossy road.

Crossy road got boring fast. I have unlocked all the characters and been playing for a good 3 hours. Now I'm back in the car with Caden driving to the 'surprise' I've already asked where it is, what it is, and where it is again. He won't tell me anything!

Caden stopped driving and helped me out of the car. A lady who was dressed nicely stood next to a young couple. "You must be Caden Davidson, I'm Debra." She shook his hand "Yes nice to meet you." He replied. I got a bad feeling about this surprise so I grabbed Caden's hand. "Oh this is Sophia. The one I talked to you about." He introduced me.

Debra smiled a d waved over the couple "Well Caden, this is Mr. and Mrs. Smith. They are more than willing and capable of taking care of Sophia." Wait. What does she mean by 'taking care of Sophia' ? Caden smiled and handed over the bag which held my old clothes.

"Sophia you're going to stay with them." Caden said while prying off my hand. Mrs. Smith took my clothes from Caden while Mr. Smith tried to pick me up. "Come on kid. Let's not make a scene." He struggled to pick me up because of my screaming and crying.

"Caden where are you going?" I cried after him. Caden was walking to his car and quickly getting in. I didn't want to get left here. I don't know these people.

My cries and screams became louder as Caden's car started to drive away. I try to push away from him I scratch at his face and arms "Stop it! You are acting like a brat!" Mr. Smith yelled at me then did the worst thing anyone has ever done to me.

Mr. Smith slapped me. I feel onto my butt on the concrete side walk. I stopped for a second to feel my face. My nose was bleeding and hurt a lot. A boring office seems really nice right now. All I could think was 'What did I do to Caden to deserve this'?
