"What now? This is perfect..." Stiles turned to Scott.

"Now... Now I'm gonna talk to Derek."

"You better." Allison agreed.

Alexia frowned at their conversation, and when she got the courage she approached the group with a very curious question.

"Who is Derek?"

They all looked at her like she was some kind of freak, in fact it looked like only in that moment they realized she was standing there too, that she existed.

"No one." Allison answered like it was so obvious.

"What is going on with Erica?" Alexia asked too.

"How would we know?" Lydia shrugged and walked back inside with Allison.

Alexia turned to look at Scott and Stiles, both talking like the last ten minutes hadn't happened, like it had been a big nightmare, like the one she had that night. Or maybe they just didn't want her to know what was going on.

She felt invisible in that moment, excluded. To avoid the tears, Alexia turned her back and walked away. No one came for her, it didn't surprise her.

"Did you see her?" Scott commented.

"Yeah, but she just couldn't know." Stiles shrugged.

Scott knew his best friend was sorry too. They both liked her, she was funny, espontaneous, honest and kind. That was why she just could not figure out how horrible Beacon Hills really was - because she was just too good for it.

"Let's go to practise." Scott called him.

They walked together to the lockerroom.

"Isaac is back." Stiles reminded.

Scott smiles ironically, "Thanks for the reminder, Stiles."

"You're welcome."

"Come on, guys!" Coach called them.

Coach seemed anxious, excited. He seemed nervous too. No one really knew why, no one really cared either. Coach was just this awesome crazy person that cared about winning at Lacrosse, so they just usually do what they are told.

"Quiet!" Coach shouted, "I have news!"

"News?"

"Today we have a new guy trying out for the team." He announced.

The said boy walked appeared on the other side of the field, and walked all the way to them. Everyone's eyes were on him, trying to see throught the equiptment, only they couldn't. Coach approached the guy and whispered something to him, leaving everyone just wondering.

"Can you hear it?" Stiles asked.

"You gotta stop that, Stiles." Scott rolled his eyes, "I'm a werewolf, not some old lady into gossip."

Stiles looked at his best friend in a just do it way, Scott knew how curious Stiles could be, and how annoying about it he could be to. So he just rolled his eyes, and drowned into the conversation.

"You know... this is violent. And what we're doing probably isn't allowed." Coach explained.

"What do you mean isn't allowed?!" Alexia exclaimed in a low tone.

Scott's eyes widened at the familiar voice.

"Just pretend you're a boy, ok?" He told her, "And do not speak to any of them!"

The werewolf turned to his best friend, still surprised, "You're not gonna believe this!"

"Come on, boys! Greet Adam!"

"Hi, Adam!"

"Adam?" Stiles rolled his eyes.

"No, not Adam. That's not an Adam." Scott told him.

"So what is he?" His best friend asked, curious, while they climbed down the benches and ocupied their positions on the field.

"It's Alexia."

Stiles choked, and started to cough really hard.

"Stilinski!" Coach shouted, "Stop with that!"

"He just choked, Coach." Scott explained, while patting his friend in the back.

"Come on! You..." Coach pointed at Alexia, "Show me how good you are."

Scott was sent to the goal and Isaac was positioned as defense with another guy from the team. In that moment, the werewolf panicked, worrying over Alexia... She had two werewolves ahead of her and she had no idea.

"Oh, this is not gonna end well..." Scott muttered.

Isaac looked behind his shoulder at Scott for a moment, "You are very right."

The sarcastic smile on the blonde boy's face pissed Scott off, he knew Isaac would try to hurt her, because he also knew that wasn't Adam, it was Alexia.

"Ready?!" Coach screamed, and when everyone nodded, he just gave the signal.

Alexia began to run fast, with her stick in her hand, and when she was reaching Isacc, and he was preparing to launch her all the way across the field, she simply pushed the other boy and when Isacc tried to catch her , she swiveled gracefully sideways and threw the ball.

Scott tried to catch it, but failed. And was left looking surprised at the ball inside the goal.

"What? He looked like a ballerina!" Isaac accused.

When Scott saw the chance to approach Alexia, he did. Followed by Stiles.

"So, Adam..." Stiles greeted, ironically, patting her back, "You are fantastic!"

She just nodded, and bowed her head quickly.

"Stop, Stiles." Scott laughed, "Alexia, we know it's you."

She looked up quickly and looked at them wide-eyed. They both started laughing.

"How?" She whispered.

They were about to blurt out some lie, when they were interrupted by the coach.

"Come here!" They walked up to the benches again, "Congratulations, Adam! You were accepted into the team!"

Alexia raised her hand and nodded, thankful.

"But this time, as Isacc demanded..." The coach ironically explained, "It's on the left side. Let's go!"

They all went back to their positions, with only that change.

"This time I won't fail..." Isaac whispered, looking right at Scott.

"Ready?" Coach asked again, and they all repeated the gesture.

Then he whistled, starting Alexia's race.

She was coming right at the defense, and began to run to her right, trying to avoid Isaac at all costs. He realized what she was trying to do too, and threw himself at her, throwing her to the hard ground in a harsh gesture.

Everyone ran in their direction. Alexia was on the floor, still too shaken up by the hit to even think if she was in pain. Isaac didn't offer her a hand, even tho she thought he would.

The boy approached Scott, "I warned you."

"You have to take off your helmet, to see if you have broken anything broken!" Coach exclaimed, as if in command.

She didn't know if Coach liked his orders being broken, so she just removed her helmet, revealing a girl, which Scott, Stiles and Isaac were expecting but not everyone else. All the boys began to whisper, but fell silent when Coach shouted.

"Calm the hell down, you hormonal teenagers!" He continued to check on Alexia, and came to the conclusion that she was fine, "All right, get up. And go home, we'll see you in the next practise."

Alexia looked at Scott and Stiles one last time before heading for the girls' lockeroom. Leaving everyone behind to talk about her.

"She's a plus for the team! You saw how she was on the field! It's great, which is strange for a girl, but she's great! That's why I'm going to speak to the director today."

Coach gestured, telling them all to leave.

When Scott and Stiles were on the way home, in Stiles's jeep, his cell phone started ringing and he answered. Scott listen in.

"This is Stiles, some emergency with supernatural things?"

He then laughed at something Allison said on the other side, and just put the phone on speaker, allowing Scott to hear it without having to use his superhearing.

"Listen! Do you know where Lexi is?"

"You don't want to know." Scott said, and Stiles chuckled.

"Why...?" She asked, confused.

"Your hot neighbor is on the Lacrosse team." Stiles explained, and Scott slapped him on the head, "Ouch!"

"She's gotta be crazy, right?" Allison chuckled.

"No doubt!"

They all laughed, but suddenly the other side of the phone went silent.

"What is it, Allison?" Scott got worried.

"You know that lizard creature... I think Alexia crossed paths with it."

"What do you mean? She saw it?" Stiles asked, taking his time on the road.

"She said she had a nightmare about something she saw last night." Allison explained, and then added, "It's just that she went to see werewolf Erica yesterday at the hospital and came by on her own back home."

"Try to get her to explain to you what you saw, I think it's... it's the best." Scott told his girlfriend, "And if she asks you questions about Erica and Derek, don't say anything."

They all agreed. They were already next to the Scott's house.

"I have to hang up." He warned Allison, and then they said their goodbyes. And he exited the jeep, "Stiles, see you tomorrow."

That night Alexia was not the only one having nightmares, Scott did too.

He dreamt he saw Isaac hurting Alexia on some weird party he found himself in; he tried to convince himself, when he woke up the next morning, that it was just the scene from the Lacrosse practise playing tricks on his mind, but some part of him couldn't buy that lie.

Alexia woke up hearing her favorite music, so it was a bit better getting up from her warm bed that morning. She walked to her bathroom and got ready in less than thirthy minutes.

"Good morning, Alexia!" Her Mom greeted.

"How was Lacrosse?" Richard asked, curious.

"It looks like we have a game Friday already." She told them, "You're invited to come!"

"Great, hunny, but we won't be able to go. We got work."

Mara as said that with such sorry as if Alexia wasn't used to it already anyway. It wasn't like her parents were there on her Lacrosse games in her other school, or drove her to prom. It's not like they were there much, yet she still loved them, of course.

Alexia's phone started ringing and she ran to answer it, "Hello?"

"Good morning, Alexia." Allison's voice greet. She sounded tired tho, "I'm going in my car today, you coming?"

"Sure, I'm leaving my house now, Alli."

Lexi hung up and kissed her parents goodbye before walking out of the house, and meeting her friend in the car. They were silent shortly, but Allison broke it.

"Do you remember what you said on Monday night?"

Alexia glanced at her, "Yes. I guess."

"What did you see?" Allison asked and added quickly, "It's ok, I'm not going to call you crazy, Lexi!"

They were already parked in front of the school's building, but neither exited the car.

"First it was... it was a man, but then..." Alexia tried to find the right words to explain, she sighed and just then continued. "Then it looked like a... lizard? I don't know..."

They both looked at each other, and while Allison was about to burst into tears because of the simple thought that she could have lost Alexia that night, Lexi started to giggle.

"But I was really tired, I must have seen something wrong."

Alexia out of the car and left Allison behind, walking straight to school. She didn't know how to really face her friend after saying something that crazy - she tried to laugh it off but it only seemed to leave Allison more worried, so she opted to run away. She used to do that.

She was so distracted that ended up bumping into someone.

"Careful, Alexia."

Lexi looked up to see who it was and she thought maybe it was her mind playing with her again, but couldn't be.

"You?" She asked, suspiciously.

"Yes. I'm the new director." Gerard Argent smiled, "And I just authorized your entry into the Lacrosse team."

"Thank you... I guess." Alexia smiles weirdly and kept on walking ahead.

She couldn't push what had just happened out of her mind, while walking to her locker, but thankful she was brought to reality by the presence of a boy standing alone by her locker, and she just walked up to him.

"Sorry, are you alone?" Alexia asked, what a stupid question.

"Yes." He said, looking around.

"I'm Alexia."

"Boyd."

"You know where this class is, by the way?" Alexia asked, showing him the schedule on her hands and he nodded.

"Come on, it's my class too." Boyd gestured.

She smiled in appreciation, "Nice, thanks."

They walked to the classroom and then sat down . As the class began, Alexia paid attention to what the teacher explained and took notes, not really noticing the time passing by. Quickly it rang for lunch.

Allison was worried with more important things than class and taking notes, just like she had told Scott, Gerard was now principal of the school and had set up cameras in every corner of the school. But after Chris, last night, kidnapped her, and forced her to become a hunter, or leader, or whatever, she really wasn't surprised to see Gerard there to control her.

"We know who's next now." Scott spoke up.

"Well..." Allison whispered, "It's Boyd."

"Yes..." He whispered back.

"And Deaton managed to heal you of what Derek did to you?" She asked worriedly.

"Yes, just like new." Scott smiled.

Alexia approached the tables, seeing Allison and Scott just back to back, sitting on opposite tables. She felt sorry for them. So she just sat quietly in front of Allison.

"Hey."

"Hi, Lexi."

"Did you know that your grandfather is the new principal?" Alexia wondered, and when her friend nodded, she just skipped to her next question, "Where is Stiles?"

"With Lydia." Scott answered loud enough for her to hear, but then whispered only to his girlfriend, "Playing the protector, I hope."

"Are you ok?" Lexi asked Allison.

"Of course!" The raiven-haired girl exclaimed and then whispered only to Scott, "Talk to Stiles! There has to be a way to find the bestiary. I'm going for a walk."

"Ok."

"I'm going for a walk, you coming, Lexi?" Allison smiled.

"Sure, let's go." She stood up.

Both abandoned the werewolf there, and walked all the way to the courtyard. They sat down at the wooden table and chatted excitedly, about things that didn't envolve lizards, nightmares and secrets.

But when Allison's phone rang, she had to abandon her fantasy normal world, the one she believed she lived in while talking to Alexia, and got up to answer it.

"Speak, Stiles."

"Scott and I were thinking..." Stiles told her, "if you know where he could hide the bestiary. Like any clue..."

"I think I have a little idea. I mean, maybe here at school." Allison thought it through.

"And how do we get in?" He asked wryly.

"With the key...?" She asked rhetorically.

"Thank you, Allison." Stiles rolled his eyes.

"I can get it on Friday. Ok?"

"Okay, I'll notify Scott." He agreed.

Allison hung up and turned back to the table. The two friends kept talking, until Lydia showed up and joined them.

"What's up?" Alexia asked happily.

"Jackson came to me and said that..." Lydia started explaining, but Allison understood what she was about to say and kicked her under the table, "Ouch!"

"What is it?!" Lexi asked, worried.

"I think my heart hurts..." Lydia said, too dramatically.

"Ah, I'm not very good at giving love advice." Alexia shrugged.

The three of them laughed together.

Before anyone noticed, it was already Friday.

"I'm nervous, very nervous, is this normal?" Alexia asked.

"Yes, it is." Scott laughed.

She put her hand on her chest, "And like... like feel your heart beating too fast?"

"It's more than normal." Stiles replied, "Do you want to feel mine?"

"No..." She shook her head, chuckling.

"Are you boys ready?" Coach asked and when his eyes met Alexia's, he snapped his fingers, adding, "And girl?"

"Yes!"

Alexia looked at Scott and Stiles nervously. It wasn't her first time, but felt like it. She looked at the benches and recognized Allison with her grandfather, the lady from the hospital's ticket desk who she saw waving to Scott.

"Hey, is that your Mom?" And he nodded.

"And that's my Dad." Stiles pointed, as if introducing them.

Alexia waved at the man, who quickly returned the gesture.

"Ok, team! This is to win! GO!" Coach shouted.

They occupied their places on the field. And when the whistle sounded, the boy with the ball passed it to Scott right away and he started to run towards the goal.

The game was running normally. They were tied.

"Who on the benches knows how to play?" Coach asked, during the short break., "And where's Stilinski?!"

"Yes, Scott. Where is Stiles?" Alexia turned to her friend, confused.

"I don't know." He shrugged, but she caught his lie.

"You, come on!" Coach called out Boyd.

Alexia saw Scott approach the boy and trying to hold him back, but Boyd managed to break free and went into the field anyway. She just let it go, not really giving much attention to it.

The game resumed and this time it was Boyd who had the ball, but someone knocked him down. He got up quickly and hard, too hard, and took the ball.

"Pass it to Scott!" Coach shouted at him, but he ignored it.

Then Alexia, being as brave as she could in a moment like that, got close enough to Boyd and took the ball, discreetly, running to Scott right after, passing him the ball, winking after.

He went to the goal and managed to score before the time was up. Worst is, Scott fell and Alexia could swear she heard a bone break up when he fell on the ground. She found herself running to him, as did a lot of people.

"Are you ok?" Allison asked.

"Yes." He said, standing up right away.

Scott then whispered something in his grilfriend's ear, but she shook her head.

"Scott, my god!" His mother shouted, worried.

He managed to stand up, as if nothing had broken or if he wasn't even in pain.

"I'm fine, Mom!" Scott calmed her down.

"But something broke, we heard." Coach spoke up.

"Yes, all of us." Allison's grandfather intruded.

"It was nothing, your impression." Scott shrugged it off.

"I have one more question for Scott." Gerard said and looked at the werewolf, "Come over to have dinner? I don't accept a no."

Allison looked at Alexia in distress and she returned the look.

"Why not?" Scott replied.

The game was over, Allison's life was probably ruined and Scott's too but other than that everyone seemed pretty ok. They had won the game, which made Alexia kind of happy.

She was ready to leave school, when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned around scared, but she sighed relieved when she recognized Scott.

"What the hell!" Alexia exclaimed, "What are you doing here? Aren't you going to have dinner at Allison's?"

"Yes, and I need a favor, Lexi." He asked, looking at her with that cute face dog's make.

"What?" She replied, rolling her eyes.

"Give me your phone." Scott reached out for it and she gave it, without questioning. He wrote something and handed it back to her, "There's Stiles' number. Call him, send him a message... Do whatever you want, but find him, ok?"

"Is he missing?!" Alexia got worried.

"No, no. He must be somewhere at school." Scott told her as he started walking away, "Tell him where I'm going."

"Ok..." She waved im goodbye.

Alexia turned back around and walked back to school.

She reached for her phone and looked for Stiles' number. When she found it, she called it. It rang, and rang, and rang, but nothing. So she sent him a text 'Where are you, Stiles? Scott sent me looking for you. It's Alexia by the way.' But nothing.
