I was sleeping in my own bed for the first time in a week. I would still be over at Evee's if my mom didn't punish me for the stupid tiktok.. maybe it's for the best anyway I can't do this, being all up under Evee knowing me and Sophie were just fucking each other's brains out. Evee played in my hair as we watched a movie in drama class.

Her hand hovered over the drawer with my strap in it. I shifted sitting up ready to tell her not to open it.

She gave  me a curious look.

Fuck, I should've acted like I don't care

"What's in here?" She asked before opening it.

"Nothing"I said hoping up.

"Sophie" I said as she grabbed the box. I tried to take it from her but she dodged me. Followed by a literal game of cat and mouse.

"I need to talk to Samayah about the entrance." She said pulling me aside hard.

"Because she was acting like she knew something was up."

"You're the one saying we shouldn't tell her so instead you lead her right to us? That's so fucking stupid"

She said as her fingers types away on her phone.

"What are you doing?"

"Covering for you." She said annoyed. "For you to be the one who says you want it to be a secret, you're ass at keeping secrets." She said before her ponytail slapped me as she swished away.

We hung decorations in silence for a good minute.

I overheard Evee step up to Sophie "I didn't buy her a phone for you to be hitting her up"

I watched them as I continued to decorate so it wasn't obvious.

Sophie pursed her lips. "Well you're just going to have to suck it up. She's my cheerleader and I need to be able to contact her... and all of them" she added that last part in kind of late.

Evee came closer to Sophie mumbling something I couldn't hear. Sophie sat there smirking in her face.

Evee was about to get more animated when two more cheerleaders came through the door.

Evee looked at them for a second then stormed off working closer to me.

By the time 3rd Block was over the whole cheer squad was in the gym helping and everything was just about done.

"You should run along to forth block" Sophie said to Evee. I could see the smirk in her eyes. "We have to get our uniforms on and finish up here. Thanks for the help."

Evee glared at her then looked at me. She came over and adjusted the ribbon on my ponytail. Her body pressed against mine a little "Text me" she said before looking at Sophie then walking away.

After everybody was in uniform Sophie sent them all out to set up the entrance but kept me back.
