Jungkook arrived at school soon after, rushing down the hallways to his classroom. Unfortunately, his first period was biology, so the first he saw was Taehyung sitting at their desk.

"Luck seems to be one my side today." he mumbled sarcastically to himself and walked over to the blonde.

"Good morning, Jungkook."

Taehyung flashed the younger boy a small smile.

"Mornin'."

Jungkook didn't spare a glance at the other and just put his things on the desk.

"Are you alright?" Taehyung asked, seeming to be concerned and Jungkook looked at him, tongue digging in the inside of his cheek.

Yeah, seeming.

"Is it because of yesterday when you mentioned that you were not feeling well?"

Jungkook just nodded, not caring to explain further.

'If you only knew that it was your fault...' the younger thought.

"Look, Jungkook, if you don't feel good you should see the school nurse." Taehyung suggested and used his hand to lift up the brunette's face by his chin.

"Alright?" the model smiled lightly.

Jungkook felt his heartbeat quicken rapidly. He cursed himself for falling for Taehyung so hard that even the smallest movements had him losing his mind already.

"O-okay." Jungkook replied shyly.

"B-but it's not that bad, w-we can continue with the project."

"Are you sure, Jungkook?"

"Y-yeah."

"Alright then!" Taehyung grinned and they prepared themselves to start working until they realised how silent it was in the classroom. Everyone was watching them and every girl was openly glaring at Jungkook.

"Would you please continue with your work?" the teacher reminded the class in a slightly annoyed undertone.

Slowly, all of them turned around and began working again.

"Weird." Taehyung mumbled silently, but loud enough for Jungkook to hear.

'Haha, that's probably the same how you think about me, too...'

"Well then, see you tonight?"

After the biology class, the two agreed on meeting up later that day, this time at Jungkook's place but no one suspected that this would change their lives drastically.

"Yeah, sure."

"Can you send me your address later on?"

"Mhm. See you."

"Bye, Jungkook!"

After briefly waving at Jungkook, Taehyung skipped down the hallways, swiftly ignoring the screams of the crowd. He opened his locker and put his books inside as he felt someone poke his shoulder.

"Jiminie~!"

Immediately, he hugged his best friend tightly.

"T-Tae, I can't breathe."

"Sorry." Taehyung smiled apologetically, causing the smaller male to chuckle.

"It's alright. What're you up to?"

"I'm free for the second period because our maths teacher is ill. Wanna walk around the campus?"

"Why not?"

"So you got paired up with this Jungkook guy?"

"Yeah.. I wish I wasn't, I mean just look at him, he's kinda weird." Taehyung sighed as he and the older wandered around on the school campus.

"'Just look at him?' Not to be rude now but he's actually pretty good-looking if you ask me." Jimin stated.

"Whatever. He's still weird."

The younger pouted and the pink-haired male laughed.

"If you say so, boss. But you shouldn't judge the book by its cover, y'know."

"Geez, just shut up."

Taehyung rolled his eyes and clicked his tongue.

"Tonight I'll have to visit his house because of this stupid project. Pray for me to survive it, Jiminie."

"Sure." Jimin shrugged and yawned.

"Sometimes I wonder whether you even care about me as my best friend ." Taehyung scoffed but his bestie chuckled.

"Of course, I do. And good luck with your date!"

Jimin grinned and made his way to his classroom.

"Well, thanks for nothing, Chim." Taehyung grumbled.
