y/n pov

A week passed since that night with Tae and it was kind of a one time thing. I guess we both took it slow plus Taehyung was rather busy with catching up on all the business and everything he had missed while he was in coma.

At the same time I was spending so much time at home and I couldn't help but read news or well gossip about Jungkook;

Dating that model, then he dated that actress, I mean it was a week and including Gen it were like 4 girls.

I couldn't judge him though;

He had moved on and so had I...

Jungkook pov

I was walking in a sort of abandoned factory there was nobody here. I looked around and eventually pulled out my phone of my pocket, to call Jimin.
Suddenly I heard some outcry, that voice.

I knew this voice.

I followed where the cry came from and I entered a different room, it was big and I saw y/n sitting on a chair. There was tape covering her mouth that explains why I only heard cries and not actually words.

She was tied to the chair. I walked towards her but suddenly Kai appeared out of nowhere. 

  'Jungkook, you finally were able to join us'

He pointed his gun at y/n's head and a real fear hit me.

  'Kai, what do you want'
  'uhm well I was willing to negotiate but you were so against it. so now you are just here to suffer'

I saw y/n terrified eyes she couldn't say anything but she nodded and cried. as if she wanted so say she loved me, no I knew that is what she wanted to say.

   'just let her go and take me' I begged out of desperation.

Kai laughed out loud

   'you really are pathetic, but no sorry, you're too late boy' and with that he shot y/n right in the head. I screamed as her blood was everywhere.

I woke up.

My heartbeat was crazy, I was breathing fast. 

   'baby what's up' the girl of whom I actually already forgot the name asked

I wasn't in the mood to talk to her, heck I wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone. The image of y/ns brain on the floor basically upset me to a point I needed to get the fuck out of here.

I got up and started to dress

   'where are you going?' the girl asked confused as it was the middle of the night/early morning
   'out' I growled.

I went to my club, the one I visited that night with y/n. I sat there drinking for some time. It was good this place was open until 06:00 in the morning basically.

I couldn't shake the fucking thing off. The thought of her dying was just too much. What could I do?

That evening I was having dinner with Jimin but I was so absent, my dream kept coming to mind. How Kai basically shot y/n's brains out right in front of me.

   'brother what's going on, you look horrible?' Jimin asked worried and I looked straight at him
   'I have to kill Kai'

In that moment I knew I had to do it, I promised y/n I would always protect her and as long Kai was alive, she wouldn't be safe.

Jimin looked at me shocked

  'what are you talking about?'
  'I am going to kill him'

  'that's suicide, you know this. You would either risk all out war or you will break mafia codes and that will make you lose everything'

    'I don't care, he has been hiding in Seoul and behind the code and I am done waiting'

There was a short pause and then Jimin snapped

   'I know you love her but no girl is special enough to die for'
   'fuck off Jimin'
   'dude you are losing it, I get it sucks she stayed in Daegu but there are other girls'

Jimin was clearly upset

I got up and left. yes there were many other girls but none that made me feel the way she did.

I had made up my mind.

I was going to do this and it would be done as soon as possible. 

y/n pov

My phone rang, it was Jimin

   hi Jimin, what's going on?' I asked
   'y/n, you need to come here asap'

I heard the distress clearly in his voice

   'uhm is everything okay?' I asked
   'no Jungkook is going on a one man mission to kill Kai'

I felt something burning inside hearing Jungkooks name.

   'I don't understand? why would he do that?'
  'come on y/n don't be so naive, he is doing this because of you, he is in no way over you. and I love you but I'm not going to lose my brother over you, so you better fucking come here'

My head was spinning. I was so convinced Jungkook didn't care about me anymore that I abandoned all my feelings towards him.

   'he lost it y/n. I think you are the only one who can convince him this is crazy'
   'okay Jimin, I will come right away. It will take around an hour, do you think I'll make it?'
  'yes I will do my best. thanks y/n' Jimin said and I hung up.

I quickly got my stuff and immediately went out. 

I didn't dare to tell Taehyung. He would most certainly stop me considering Kai was still somewhere alive and probably looking for me.

Plus I wasn't going just anywhere, I was going to Jungkook.

The car drive seemed to take forever and I could only think about what I needed to say but also what Jimin had said. It was as if those feelings I hid deep inside came to the surface again.

I finally arrived at Jungkooks house. Jimin was waiting for me to let me in but he didn't go in with me.

   'uhm good luck' he said and I nodded as I went in.

As soon as I stepped in I saw Jungkook coming down from the stairs

   'and where do you think you are going?'

He froze and stared at me with his mouth open

   'y/n, what are you doing here?'
