I groaned as I feel the sun rays hitting my face as they peeked through the curtains, disturbing my slumber. I opened my eyes and smiled as I looked over to see Lia's peacefully sleeping face as her arm was draped over my body, light snores coming from her nose. Her hair which was once beautifully curled was now a disheveled mess on top of her head as it fell over her sleeping eyes. I reached over and gently pushed the hair out of her face and at the feel of my touch her eyes darted open in a slight panic before they landed on me and softened.

"Good morning you," She said as I felt her thumb gently caress my skin.

"Mmm" Was all I responded with as I attempted to stretch but felt sore pains in multiple areas in my body. I winced in pain causing her to sit up and look down at me with concern, the blanket now sliding off her naked body.

"Are you okay? What's wrong?" She asked.

"Nothing my body is just a little sore that's all," I said as I outstretched my body carefully to ease my sore limbs.

"Sorry, just got a little excited last night," She said as she smirked before sliding off the bed and outstretching her arms, putting on full display to me her slender back and her ass.

My phone began ringing on the bedside table as I looked down at it and noticed it was Alex calling.

"Hello?" I answered it as I put him on speaker.

"I honestly was not expecting you to answer yet, I thought you and Lia would still be going at it," Alex called through the phone.

"Oh my gosh shut up Alex, what makes you think we would still be going at it?" I questioned him.

"Well the way Asha describes sex with Lia...let's just say it sounds a bit tiring," Alex chuckled through the phone.

When it came to Lia and her group of friends Asha's name was always brought up, it was always Lia and Asha.

I tried not to be jealous but to know that she was still friends with her after they had already done the deed multiple times made me uncomfortable. She knew act Lia liked and she knew how to please her whereas I just had sex for the first time.

"Hello?" I heard Alex call out.

"Hey yeah sorry, what were you saying?" I asked.

"Me and the gang are going to the carnival today, would you and Lia be interested in going? Abigail didn't want to go so Lia wouldn't have to worry about her sister being annoying towards her," He stated.

"Do you wanna go Clarity?" Lia asked as she turned around to look at me, with a towel wrapped around her body.

"Whose all going to be there?" I asked hesitantly.

"Well the gang. Justin, me, Maddy, Asha, Kyle, Matt is actually joining us today and he never joins us, Damien will join us a little later and Amelia agreed to come along with Justin," Alex explained.

"Wait Damien and Amelia are going with us all?" I asked, concerned for Amelia's well being.

"Well yeah, they both are aware that each other will be there and they don't care, Damien, Matt and Kyle will probably wander off eventually so they won't be around each other for long," He said.

I hesitated for a moment, I wanted to spend time alone with Lia today, just to hold her in my arms and talk about the future together.

"I think we should go, it'll be fun," Lia said as she crawled onto the bed, clutching the towel to her chest to stare me in my eyes with a smile on her face. Her grey eyes clear and sparkling and her skin warm and glowing, the freckles slightly peeking out on her skin. It was a face I just couldn't say no to.

"Fine, looks like Lia and I are going too," I said as I slightly huffed.

"Okay cool, do you guys need a ride home from the hotel?" He asked.

"Yes, come pick us up now because we have to check out soon," Lia yelled loudly into the phone.

"I thought you would have fucked the loudness out of her but sounds like mission failed, OKAY ILL COME AND PICK YOU GUYS UP BYE!" Alex yelled before hanging up as Lia snatched the phone out of my hand and huffed loudly as she realized he had hung up.

"That ass hat, I'm not even that loud. Do you want to take a shower with me?" Lia asked as she handed me back my phone.

"No, I'll just take a shower when I get home," I shrugged my shoulders.

"I give good back massages," She said as she climbed off the bed and wiggled her shoulders, smirking at me.

I giggled.

"No you can go ahead and enjoy your shower, I can take one when I get home," I said.

She shrugged her shoulders as she took off towards the bathroom before stopping at the door to look back. I heard the water of the shower cut on and I sat up from the bed and made my way towards Lia's back pack to search for a change of clothes. It was insane how I lost my virginity...to my best friend...on prom night. It sounded like a scene out of a movie or a story and it was honestly unforgettable. But what was going to happen to us after prom? After graduation? After we moved into our own dorms and began making friends with new people? Would our love for each other still be there or would it eventually die out and we both would become a distant memory of each other.

I quickly got dressed and scurried around the room to clean it up and cover up any signs of sexual activity in the room and by the time I was finished, Lia finally stepped out of the bathroom with her hair dripping wet and the towel wrapped around her slightly damp.

"Damn you clean up fast, seems like someone's ready to go to the carnival," Lia said as she grabbed another towel and began drying her hair off with it.

"Not really, I kind of wanted to spend more time with you today," I grumbled but she caught every word.

"You will be spending time with me today, we're going to the carnival with our friends that's all," She said as she walked over and gently placed her lips upon mine as a sweet gesture.

She turned away to put her clothes on and I silently sighed.

As she finally dressed herself, we gathered all of our belongings and headed downstairs to the lobby so that Lia could check out, I offered to carry her dress and my suit as she carried her back pack and headed towards the front desk.

I walked towards the entrance and noticed Alex posted against the wall near the door as he noticed me and began waving his hand towards me.

"I was afraid that I was going to be waiting here forever if you and Lia decided to go at it again this morning," Alex chuckled as he grabbed the clothes from my grasp to carry to the car.

"Ew shut up, we have to go to my house first so I can take a shower and get changed," I rolled my eyes at him as we headed outside.

''Why didn't you just shower with Lia in the hotel?" Alex asked.

"Because she didn't want to loser, now get in the car," Lia came up from behind us and grabbed Alex's shoulders as she slightly shook him.

We all got into the car, Alex in the driver side and Lia in the passenger side while I sat in the back seat.

"Guys, graduation is literally around the corner. We'll be high school graduates going off to college isn't that crazy?" Alex said excitedly.

"I know, it's fucking insane, seems like time is flying by because I still remember being a freshman," Lia said in disbelief.

"Now we'll be freshman in college, we're going to meet so many new people. Especially you because State college is huge," Alex said.

"I'm probably not going to meet much people I'll probably just keep to myself," Lia shrugged her shoulders.

"You said that freshman year and now look at you, Prom Queen and most popular," Alex said jokingly.

"Shut up Prom King," She huffed.

I couldn't participate in the conversation because I was too busy thinking. I found myself thinking a lot lately and thinking about Lia. I was happy to see that she was making so much progress on her own, going to therapy, not letting her, mother get to her so easily and using this time to prepare herself to be going off away from her family, experiencing new people and bettering her mental health.

But was I going to be apart of that process? I wanted to be apart of it so bad but was it truly good for her.

"Clarity snap out of it, we're at your house," Lia said as she waved her hand in front of me, snapping me out of my daze. We all climbed out of the car and headed to my front door where Lia knocked and was immediately greeted by my very enthusiastic mother.

"My three favorite children! Tell me how was prom?! Did you all enjoy it?!" She asked excitedly.

"It was fun, Alex and Lia were crowned prom King and Queen," I said as I pushed past my mother to go take a shower, hoping my words would distract her and sure enough it did. As I ran up the stairs the I heard the sounds of her loud squeals echo up to the second floor. I quickly grabbed a towel from my room and scurried into the bathroom to finally cleanse myself after a long night. As the warm water ran down my back I felt my muscles instantly relaxing as I sighed in relief loudly.

I scrubbed my body down, getting any possible dirt and grime on top of my skin and rinsing it clean almost like a new layer of skin was revealed on my body. I turned the water off and dried myself off as I tiptoed back into my room.

"Wow you really suck for doing that," Lia said as I screeched in surprise to find her laying in my bed, flipping through a random book she plucked from my book shelf.

"How did you get past my mother?" I asked as I clutched the towel closer to myself.

"She currently downstairs and Alex is distracting her for me...I don't know why you're clutching that towel so hard I've literally already seen every part of your body," She shrugged her shoulders, not looking away from the book.

"Shut up," I muttered lowly as I turned away from her to gather some clothes for me to wear.

"You've been awfully quiet today, something on your mind?" She asked, still not looking up from the book as I quickly began to get dressed.

"No really," I lied. "It's just crazy how next week we'll be graduating, seems like yesterday I was taking my senior photos,"

As soon as I was finished changing into my clothes, Lia closed the book and looked up at me with a dull expression.

"You're a terrible liar Clarity but it seems as though you don't want to talk about it right now so I won't pressure you. Just don't let whatever you're thinking of eat you up inside," She said as she got up and walked towards me, giving my hand a light squeeze.

But it was a little too late for that statement.
