I woke up to a foggy cloud sky. Ironic because that's how I feel right now. I just really didn't understand Lia and right now all I wanted to do is get inside of her head and see what was going through her head.

My phone lit up and I noticed a unknown number sent me a text message.

~Hey this is Alex, need a ride to school?

I quickly texted him back and got out of bed. I'm guessing Lia isn't coming to school and has decided to avoid me today.

I hated when she did that.

I brushed my teeth and threw on some clothes, I heard a knock on the door so I only assumed it was Alex because he was the only person I knew that didn't just text me that he was outside.

I opened the door to reveal a not so smiley Alex.

"Are you okay?" I asked him as I stepped outside.

"What? Yeah yeah I'm just thinking about something." He said shaking his head.

I locked the door behind me and headed towards his car where I got into the passenger seat and buckled my seat belt.

"Where is Lia?" I asked Alex as he got into the car.

"She's not coming to school, she's going to a mini match for her MMA class." He responded and stuck his key into the ignition.

"Why didn't she just tell me that?" I asked a little annoyed now.

Its like Lia and I were growing farther apart the more I wanted to be with her and figure her out.

"I don't know, I don't understand half the shit Lia does."

We drove toward school in silence, obviously something was troubling both of us.

"Alex what's wrong?" I asked him finally.

"What do you mean?"

"Its just that you're not your usual goofy adorable self." I shrugged.

"I'm just not proud about what I'm doing right now but I'm far too deep to back out." He said quietly.

Sounds like something Amelia would say.

We pulled up to the school but before I could get out of the car, Alex stopped me.

"Clarity are we friends?" He looked me in the eyes and asked.

"I know we've only known each other for a little bit but I guess I do consider you a friend." I smiled.

"If something happens between Lia and I would you still be my friend?" He asked seriously.

"Alex where are you going with this? Why are you asking these things?" I questioned, he was starting to scare me.

"I may be doing things that might make Lia hate me." He sighed.

He looked so tired and defeated I felt sorry for him.

"Alex what did you do?" I pushed.

He chuckled and looked at me. " You love getting information out of someone."

"Lia never came home last night so Abigail asked me to come over and I just couldn't help myself." His cheeks began turning red and he turned away from me.

"Oh my gosh did you sleep with Abigial?! Alex she has a boyfriend! Lia doesn't want you to break her heart!" I yelled at him.

"Clarity to me this wasn't just some hit and ditch situation, I think I actually love her." He said.

I looked at him in shock trying to process what I just heard. Did he say he loved Abigail Summers?

"Clarity say something, you're scaring me." He chuckled.

"I'll remain friends with you, I know Lia can be hot headed especially with her sister." I smiled.

I turned to open the car door and I could have swore I heard him say "you don't even know the half of it"

I made my way towards the lunch room after barely surviving my morning classes without Lia, oh my gosh I just can't stop thinking about her.

Amelia wasn't coming back until next week so I had no choice but to sit with Lia's group without Lia. At least I knew Alex.

"Well hello Clarity." Justin smiled at me.

Maddy and Kyle were also at the table along with Asha but they both were on their phones.

I smiled at Alex and Justin since they were the only ones that acknowledged me.

"I'm surprised you sat here without Lia, I heard you are tired of us." Justin pretended to look hurt.

"About as tired as Lia hearing someone talk about her fucking her ex." Alex chuckled.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Everyone's been talking about it for the past week, apparently Nathan has been bragging about fucking Lia, no one has the balls to actually ask Lia if it's true." Justin whispered.

"Why is that something to brag about?" I asked a little annoyed.

Yes I was annoyed still about the situation because she still slept with my boyfriend at the time.

""Lia is one of the most hottest girls in the school but she's untouchable." Alex said.

"I wouldn't say untouchable now." Maddeline smirked.

Both Justin and Alex groaned at Maddeline's comment.

"No one gives a fuck that you 'experimented' with Lia." Alex snapped.

"Wait what?" I said out loud.

"Oh your best friend didn't tell you that we used to be a thing? She smirked.

"Yeah a one time thing Maddy, she also had a thing with Asha but you both got too attached." Alex rolled his eyes.

"Whatever, if I wanted Lia I could have her whenever I want." Maddy shrugged.

"Is that really true?" I looked up to see Lia glaring down at Maddy.

Maddy's face began turning bright red as she looked down at the table in embarrassment.

I quickly scooted over so Lia could sit down next to me but she sat down in between Justin and Alex and didn't even look at me.

"Hey Lia." I said weakly.
She quickly looked at me and smiled before she turned to talk to Justin.

Alex looked at me apologetically and leaned forward.

"What happened?"

"I said some things I shouldn't have said again." I sighed.

Alex looked at me with a sympathetic smile.

He got up from the table and beckoned for me to follow him. I didn't bother to look and see if Lia was watching and I followed him right out the door.

"Clarity you have to stop blaming yourself for whenever you and Lia get into it." Alex sighed.

"I shouldn't have said what I said to her." I said.

"Lia has problems and she just doesn't want to face them, she may seem perfect on the outside but she has some skeleton's in her closet."

"But I did call her a whore and say maybe we shouldn't be a thing." I frowned.

"Clarity your lesbian friend slept with your boyfriend, you had every right to be mad she shouldn't have been that mad anyway. Besides I feel like you're breaking her and she doesn't like it so she's trying every way to make you stop." Alex explained.

I thought about what Alex said and maybe he was right. Lia has had a rough childhood. Maybe she's kept it all bottled up for so long she's afraid to express her feelings.

Im gonna have to break her before I can heal her.
