Days seemed to pass swiftly as it had ben two weeks after their.... What ever that was. Sandra is still living at Ryan's trying to get a new job, since she resigned last one.

"If this continues, I'm gonna be homeless soon." she exclaimed sitting on the couch which was already occupied by Luke. She raised an eyebrow at him to know why he was here this early in the morning on a weekend. He just shrugged. offering no answer.

Mathew coming from the kitchen "And I'm gonna be a waiter!" he said with a tray and three cups on it.

"Word of advice, you're gonna be rich if the chef is Ryan." Luke said enjoying the coffee.

"You're already rich but I agree with Luke."

"What's happening?" Ryan came with his own coffee mug in hands.

"Deciding your future profession with out you." Luke offered.

"Speaking of which, I want to be a farmer." which got Mathew choke on his coffee.

"For fück's sake Mary. Don't drop sudden bombs on me."

"Well, you told me to think what I like, you should be prepared." sat on the chair opposite to him switching on TV. Mathew was instantly beside him and took remote, switching off the TV. "Jesus." Ryan exclaimed at the sudden action.

"This is serious Mary. Do you know anything about farming? You quit your job and knew nothing about farming. What are you gonna do? Do you even how much physical work it takes? "

"Sir." cutting him off "Nobody said anything about quitting. I'm not going to be a full time farmer. It's just weekend farming. Think about it, how pleasant it'll be to spend time at our farm house. Not to mention this will cut your weekend escapades." he added in the last.

"See? They are even planning their retirement." he whispered to Sandra having fun with watching their argument.

Mathew looked away at that slightly feeling guilty "I thought with, you hating your new promotion and all... you're taking decisions without thinking."

"Wait. What? You got a promotion Ry? When?" Luke asked offended as he didn't know anything about this even though they work at the same place.

Cursing under his breath "I can explain."

"Then explain."

"I was thinking about rejecting the offer."

Luke stood up from the couch "Are you fucking kidding me? Do you know how many people are waiting for years to get that promotion?"

"I know. And that's why I said I WAS thinking. Monday is the last day for me to give my final decision."

"And you're fucking accepting it." he finaled.

"Of course. I am."

"Well, good then." he sat down taking his cup into hands calmly as if he hadn't just raised a tornado.

"Next time I except you tell me rather than me finding out."

"I will." Ryan sighed relieved looking at Mathew silently thanking him for the trouble. No sarcasm, indeed.

They ordered pizza for lunch and were watching something on Netflix like a bunch of teenagers laughing and bickering. Being loud they didn't hear the knock on door and a person coming in.

"Tsk, blondes." Mathew said provoking Luke for something dumb a blond has done in the movie.

"Mr. Collins, you black haired-" he stopped mid sentence as Ryan and Sandra both looked at him in unison. Even though Sandra's is dark brown she considers her hair as black. Not wanting to trigger the majority, certainly not expecting a win if he did, he turned to watch movie saying "Every dog has it's own day." loud enough for Mathew to hear.

"Ha ha. So you're saying you're a dog?"

"I'm not-" this time he was cut off by someone.

"Who the fuck?" Luke turned to look at the stranger. He was mad that he couldn't get back at the man who irritates him.

"Matt." a woman called.

All Luke noticed was she is blonde "Who are you? Are you an angel? Sent by god to save me from this demon that is Matt as you call?" he said dramatically.

"No I'm Ava, a human." she laughed. "And Matt's fiance. I was sent by our parents to go shopping." she informed.

"HA. You're marrying a blonde? Now take that." then he remembered, Mr. Collins is getting married? "What the fu-" he turned to see Ryan's reaction.

"Ava!" Mathew stood up "Why are you here?"

"As I said. Shopping." she waved an invitation card.

"Is that an invitation card to your marriage?" as Sandra got the confirmation of what it was "What the hell Matt?" she was beyond pissed. "Why the hell don't I know about this? Ryan do you know about this?" she waved a hand between Matt and Ava. Ryan shook his head indicating that he didn't know. "When the hell this happened?"

Ava chimed in "He must've told to his close friends. May be he should have invited you guys before our marriage which is" she looked at the card for date "Hmm. Exactly after a week." Matt looked ready to kill someone. What the hell does she get from doing that?

"I told you I'd meet you in the evening, what do you want now?" he didn't even try to hide his rage.

"Just wanted to remind you since you went MIA last time."

All this talk proved she was not joking "When did this happen?" was the first thing Ryan asked looking at Mathew.

"A while back." he didn't give any details.

"Well," Ava started but Ryan held up a hand in a stop sign with out even looking at her, giving his undivided attention to Mathew.

"Is it before..?" he didn't finish the sentence as he knew very well what he was talking about.

Mathew stayed silent which meant only one thing - he was engaged before their night, meaning he cheated and he was the one who he cheated with. If anything Ryan hates as he doesn't care about many things: it's cheating.

"I hate cheaters." he whispered so that only 'the cheater' would hear as he was passing by. Taking a jacket with him, he started the car not having any particular place to go. His brain making him feel a whole lot of guilt. The first time was his fault as Mathew was out of it. He can justify it by saying he was in pain, hell that was the only reason. But, the second time when Mathew applied medicine to soothe him? Well, that was that just taking care of an injury. But, third time? When there is no one in pain? Even if no words are involved, it happened with both of their consent.

He pulled somewhere deserted to think about things and to calm himself down. After some time his phone started to ring constantly irritating him. It was Luke, not wanting to worry anyone he took a U-turn to home.

"Will you stop blowing up my phone? I'm here." Ryan said walking in.

Hanging up "Dude, I thought you were going to kill yourself."

"Seriously?" raising an eyebrow he laughed silently at what Luke had said, if he got past his mother's death alive then he could get past even the difficulties that people might find hard with ease. This? This is just anger and guilt. "What for?" he didn't except an answer nor did Luke had given one.

"Anyway, I've been wanting to take you somewhere, now that your excuse of 'guest' is no longer valid, we're going." that was his stupid excuse as he doesn't want to go anywhere with Luke as it's always loud.  Secretly wanting Sandra to stay for more days so that he can forget about it.

"Where did Sandra go?"

"I don't know. And you are not going to get out of giving me a party for your promotion." well of course he can't, he kept it a secret from him if he denied or delayed it, Luke's gonna use it against him.

Sighing "Let me get my wallet."

As he walked off to his room Luke fist pumped air excited "Free beer baby."

He came home late. After taking a wasted Luke to his home, dealing with his drunk self proved to be more tough than he thought. A sober Luke wouldn't dare to ask Ryan to drink but the one he dealt with is brave enough to make him take some shots. Not liking the alcohol smell on him he directly went to his closet for clothes to take a much needed shower.

"Are you drunk?" came out of nowhere startling him. He didn't notice Mathew lying on the bed, since he always comes home late.

"Jesus!" hand went to his chest "No." he replied after calming down.

"You reek of alcohol."

"Yeah. Took some shots." Ryan didn't know the words and kisses he got that night were going to be last.

Next day Morning Ryan got a message from his work needing him as early as possible. More over, he has to cover for Luke too, so he went leaving Mathew in the bed with out informing him. When he finally get back he only found Sandra "Matt told me he won't come tonight."

"Oh." this will be his first time ever not sleeping home after Amanda died.
"I'm not hungry. I'm going to sleep." walked past her.

He never noticed how much he depended on him until now as he couldn't sleep well in the night. Morning wasn't any better. "Sir." he yelled as usual from downstairs. "I already woke up late, I don't wanna be late to work too." he was busy with his chores.

"Sir." he called again and turned to go upstairs only to find Sandra looking at him with pity.
