D R E A M

The smell of food is prominent in the air causing me to immediately snap my eyes open.

My stomach growls at the aroma.

I scan the room and my eyes land on a tray with a stack of pancakes, eggs, bacon, toast, waffles and many more delicacies.

I move my body to pick the tray up and wince.

Kairo really fucked me up last night- or early this morning.

I pick it up and put it on my lap and immediately dig in until I'm scraping the plate with my fork.

Dick makes you hungry.

A white piece of paper immediately catches my attention.

I take the paper and instantly recognise Kairos handwriting.

Good morning and happy birthday Amour,
Enjoy your breakfast then follow the trail.

I furrow my eyebrows in confusion at the last 4 words...what trail?

I look down on the floor, by the side of the bed and see red rose petals leading somewhere.

I place the tray back on the table and stand up, to begin following the trail.

I follow it all the way to the guest room down the hall and open the door.

In the room I see dozens of gifts on the bed and some bigger gifts on the floor.

There's designer bags and Victoria secret shopping aswell as multiple other shopping bags sat all around the room.

I see a huge bouquet of purple roses and wrapped around each rose is a hundreds dollar bill.

I take a peek into one of the bags and gasp as I see even more money stacked up and wrapped around with a red ribbon.

I refrain from squealing when I see another prince of paper sat on the centre of the bed.

I pick it up and read the note.

Go outside.

My heart started beating fast in anticipation of what he had planned.

I ran outside excited as fuck, still very much in my silk night gown.

I reach the front door, open it and gasp at what I see.

6 of my closest friends standing before me all holding their individual gifts for me.

From Milan to some of my cousins and childhood friends I hadn't seen in ages.

My eyes tear up as I take them all into a group hug. I pull away from them and welcome them inside before they begin to give me their gifts.

"I've missed you guys so much." I sniffle.

"We've missed you to." They say unanimously.

"What are all of you doing here." I ask, opening the gift Jayda (one of my high school friends) gotten me.

"Your man wanted us to give you a pamper day." Aliyah (my younger cousin) explained.

I smiled to myself, making a mental note to thank him...in my own special way.

hehe

I take out the bracelet from the small box and pour my lips.

"Aw thanks Jay." I say to Jayda, thanking her for her gift.

The next hour is spent with me opening my gifts and having funny conversations with the people I love.

We even speak about Reign and how he recently started crawling and babbling random words.

At some point we finish talking and they allow me to run upstairs and get ready for my day.

I do my usual morning routine then throw on the outfit I had planned for my birthday.

I pair the outfit with matching platform heels so I can actually make it through the day without death by foot ache.

I walk back downstairs to the living room and my girls start hyping me up.

"Wait wait there's something missing." Milan says, silencing everyone.

She runs and grabs something from her bag.

She puts a sparkly plastic tiara on my head and a birthday sash over my dress.

"Now that's better." She says studying the finish look.

"Come outside, there's something else we need to show you." Kennedy (another one of my high school friends) says.

She grabs my hand and leads me outside and everyone follows behind.

She opens the front door and for the thousandth time today I gasp.

A huge party bus is parked right outside the house.

"Oh my gosh, oh my gosh." I squeal, running towards it causing everyone to laugh.

"Y'all got me a party bus!?" I screech.

"No baby, you're future baby daddy did." Melody, Jayda's sister, informs.

"Dreamy I'm gone need you to tell me where you ordered him from." Jordan mumbles, causing everyone to laugh and murmur in agreement.

We enter the party bus and depart to wherever they had planned for me.

The journey consisted of a lot of alcohol, blasting Nicki Minaj and us dancing on the stripper pole in the middle of the bus.

Eventually, the bus came to a halt and we all got out.

I saw that we had stopped in front of a beauty spa.

We all went inside and I noticed that there were no other people there apart from us and the staff.

"Oh and Kairo rented the entire place out just for you." Aliyah clarified as if reading my thoughts.

He really went all out.

But what really caught my eye was the banner saying "Happy birthday Dream." and the multiple balloons all over the place.

One of the staff brought a tray to us that had champagne glasses on them.

We thanked her and grabbed a glass each.

The glass even had the words "Dreams 24th" engraved on it.

Another lady walked up to us and introduced herself

"Hi ladies, I'm Beatrice and I'll be taking care of you." She explained "And happy birthday Dream, Mr Kingston gave specific instructions to take good care of you today."

Everybody awww'ed at that.

"So first we're starting off with the massages, so if you girls could follow me to change into your robes." Beatrice continued.

We followed her, eager to enjoy ourselves.

After a few hours of manicures, pedicures, massages, face masks, day drinking, gossiping and pure enjoyment we were back on the party bus.

It was around 5pm now and the day was progressing.

Kennedy said that there was another gift they had for me.

I smiled and furrowed my eyebrows confused.

She gave me a flat box to which I opened and found a piece of paper inside.

I took it out and read it aloud.

Go back to the house and into the bedroom.

- Kai

"Oooo" everyone said unanimously causing me to laugh.

The bus eventually came to a halt outside the house.

"Where are you guys going?" I asked as hey remained sat in the bus.

"urm where going back to our urm houses, don't worry just go in the house." Melody explained.

"Ok, thanks so much guys I had a lot of fun today." I said, smiling at all of them.

They all murmured agreements and final birthday wishes as I got off the bus.

I walked to the front door and turned back giving them a final wave as the bus departed.

I ran inside the house and upstairs into the bedroom.

On the bed was probably one of the most beautiful dresses I had ever seen in my life.

On top of the dress was another note.

I picked it up eager to see what it said this time.

Get ready then go outside, for another surprise Amour.

I immediately took my clothes off, including the tiara and birthday sash and put on the dress, careful not to mess up my already done hair and makeup.

I put on some golden strap heels and went outside again.

A black matte limousine was outside and leaning on it was the man himself dressed in a black velvet suit.

It felt as though I hadn't seen him in forever even though it had only been a few hours.

In heels and all, I ran towards him and threw my arms around him.

"You look so pretty." He cooed, placing a kiss on my cheek.

"Thank you, I've has so much fun so far." I said looking up at him with my hands wrapped around his neck.

"Oh that's only the beginning." He mumbled with his face buried in my neck.

He opened the limo door for me to which I slipped inside, before going to his side.

At some point, the driver stopped the vehicle.
Kai opened the door for me and I stepped outside.

To my surprise, we weren't at a restaurant but instead there was a trail made by lit up candles.

I began to follow the path made by the candles with Kairo behind me until I reached the place where our date was set up.

There was a candle lit table for two and all around us were candles.

As well as this, there were violinist playing a melody feeling the romance.

I sat down on one of the chairs as Kai pulled it out for me.

He sat opposite me just before the chef brought out the first meal.

Naturally, we went deep into conversation and ate our food in the comfortability of each other's presence.

At some point I couldn't even fit anymore food in my stomach and the violinists began to play a more subtle melody.

"Would you like to dance with me." Kai asked, holding his hand out

I smile and take his hand before we both stand up.

He places both his hands on my waste and wrap my arms around his neck and we both sway to the music.

He buries his face in my neck and sighs "I love you." I hear him mumble.

My eyes widen at his words.

That was the first time he'd ever said that.

"Wait what did you say?" I question, feeling a smile spread on my face.

"I said I love your Dream Carter." He repeated.

"I love you too." I whisper back.

He pulls away from my neck, with a wide grin before pressing a passionate kiss on my lips.

"I have something I want to show you." He says, pulling away.

The surprises just keep coming.

He grabs my hand and leads me somewhere, it is was now a little bit darker but the candles provided light.

He goes behind me and places his hands over my eyes.

"Really?" I say, giggling.

"Yes, no peeking." He says from behind me.

"Ok, you can look now." He says before removing his hands from my eyes.

I scream...like really loudly.

I almost pass out.

I start hyperventilating.

There was a black matte rolls Royce with a red ribbon wrapped around it.

My dream car.

I turn back to Kairo and see him holding the keys. "That's your car baby girl." He says, titling his head to the side.

I jump on him and wrap my legs around his waist before peppering his face with kisses saying "thank you." inbetween each kiss

The dream car is now Dream's car...that was really corny.

"I've always wanted this car, thank you baby." I say in between sniffles as I cry tears of joy.

"Good now go checkout your new car Amour."

I didn't need to be told twice before running towards my new car.

The interior was a royal blue and of course there were stars on the ceiling.

Everything was perfect and it was all down to one man.

I drove around a little bit in my new car with Kai in the passenger seat to get a feel of it.

And if I wasn't excited before I was definitely excited now.

It was so far the best birthday ever.

Eventually, Kairo said there was ANOTHER place he had to take me too, which resulted in him driving.

When we were closer to the place, he tied a blindfold to cover my eyes, so I didn't know where we were going.

The car eventually came to a halt and I was lead out.

"Where are you taking me." I ask eager to know what else could possibly be in store for today.

He doesn't say anything but instead we carry on walking before he takes the blindfold off and opens a door at the same time.

"SUPRISE!" I hear multiple voices yell at the same time.
