"Open your mouth," ordered the Daemon King as I just kept it shut. "Open or I'll just open it myself and shove it into your mouth."

"Don't you dare!" I shot back as I turned my head aside. I heard him sigh as he took my cheeks between his fingers and made me face him.

"Open, now," he squeezed my cheeks forcing it open slightly and he pushed the spoon on my lips. I tried to fight his hold, but it started to hurt, so I opened a little more hoping it would relieve the pain and he shoved it inside making me start coughing. "Don't puke, keep it in," he groaned as he let my throbbing cheeks go.

I continued to cough until I managed to swallow the food he just forced into my mouth. Then he gave me a glass of water and I instinctively drank everything. When I calmed down, I glared at him as he had already another spoonful of food in front of me. Why was he feeding me? Oh yes, because I refused to anything for half a day. I didn't even have the time to be hungry that he came in to feed me.

"I'm not hungry anymore," I complained when another spoonful of food was presented in front of me.

"Don't lie, it was your first bite," he answered making me sigh as he fed it to me. "Why are you being so difficult?"

Because he was the Daemon King? He was the enemy? He killed innocent people? He tortured innocent people?  He kept me in this room against my will?

When I didn't answer, he just continued to feed me. When I finished everything he put the dishes away and intently looked at me.

"What?"

"I don't get to have a thank you kiss?" he asked innocently making me hatefully glare at him.

"Go fuck yourself," I muttered disgusted by his request.

He didn't say a thing as he took the dishes away and disappeared behind the wall. He had to be using magic. There was no other way, so I had to somehow convince him to let me out. If I stayed here, it would be impossible to accomplish my duty. I was going to succeed, I needed to, I was the Chosen One. It had always been my destiny to kill the Daemon King and bring the peace back. I was their only hope, their only chance.

Determined to escape, I needed to find a plan. Anything to get me out of this room. Or should I just kill the Daemon when he was in this room with me? Would the spell be dispelled if he died? It would be a risk I had to take.

I roamed inside the room searching everywhere for a weapon. It could be anything, anything... I opened a drawer and saw a knife. I took it in my hand and looked at it. It was very sharp. Would he forget something like that here?

Anyways, it was a mistake. I carefully hid the knife under the pillow. I was convinced that he would come here once again tonight, mostly for dinner.

Or should I wait until I knew everything about him? His habits, his ways around me and mostly the hours he came into my room. No, the sooner the better. I didn't want to get played by those facts or... Get attached to the man?

Impossible.

I didn't want to just sit there and wait for the man to come, so I decided to take a shower. I found it quite weird that I found clothes of my size in the closet. I wonder who was the real owner of this room, but again, there were clothes larger than others. I took a simple T-shirt and a pair of jeans. I got into the bathroom and locked the door before taking everything off and step into the shower.

Feeling the hot water hit my face and then slowly slide down my body was the best thing I felt today. I stayed under the hot spray of water unmoving for God knew how long. I sighed and looked down at the ground with both my hands on the wall. My vision started to get fuzzy and not because of the water. I shook my head and rubbed my eyes hoping I could see clearly again. But it only got worse.

"Good morning Love," said a man's voice with a naked chest that I didn't recognize, but a warm feeling immediately spread through my chest. "Did you sleep well?" the same man smiled as he put his hand on my cheek.

I could myself smile, but why? I didn't even know this man. My body was moving by itself.

I couldn't see the man's whole face, but only to his nose. His palm still on my face, he kissed me. It was a gentle and sensual and loving kiss. I couldn't help, but moan and kiss the man back. It felt so good, his warm soft lips. "I love you."

Then my vision got all fuzzy again as I was going to see the whole face of the man. I really wanted to know who it was. I didn't remember having a boyfriend. Deus was my life. I was always with them. I could never have a relationship since I was the Chosen One. Who was that man?

"What the hell is happening to me?"

I was feeling like I wanted to puke. I closed my eyes shut and put my hand over my mouth. When another wave of sickness came, I crouched down on the ground. Even with the water pouring on me, I could feel myself sweating.

Suddenly, someone banged on the door shouting to open the door. It must be the Daemon King. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't open... I was already seeing black dots everywhere.

I moaned in pain as I laid on the ground in a small ball hoping it would make me feel better.

"I love you."

These three words always came back into my mind, haunting me. It was the same voice. I already heard it somewhere, but... I couldn't put a name on that voice.

"Give him back to me!" a voice shouted in my head making my ears ring. "Give back my life, my mate, my King!"

There was a loud noise. The water stopped. Something enveloping me.

"Who are you?" I whispered hoping I could obtain an answer.

The voice snorted, "I'm you."
