[ 15 YEARS LATER ]438.

Jimin let out a loud sob as tears fell down his eyes.

It was on that same university, and they’re college students. Tae and Jimin are both up on the rooftop to have some privacy.

“Oh come on! He’s not a loss! He sucks!” Tae cried, cheering up his best friend.—

Jimin was almost choking on his cries, he wiped his tears.

“You think I’m crying over that guy? No! I’m crying over giving him my first kiss! I thought he’s the right one but he failed me.” Jimin cried.

Tae sighed, he doesn’t actually know what to say.—

Because he’s never been in a relationship— maybe just flings? Or puppy loves? But a serious relationship with real love? He’s never experienced that.

Even though sometimes Jimin & him fight, he still hated seeing his own best friend crying.

He snatched Jimin’s phone.—

“Hey! What the hell?!” Jimin cried.

“What are you doing?! Give me back my phone!”

Jimin was trying to reach for his phone on Tae’s hand, but Tae was taller than him.

“No! I’ll make sure to leak his photos you showed me! That’s what he’ll get from hurting you!”—

Jimin’s eyes bawled. “Are you crazy?! He’ll know its me—Give it back!”

Tae was raising the phone as he try to type. He logged in onto his anonymous account and sent the video of Jimin’s ex-bf to their school files.

Tae knew it’ll ruin that guy’s image but he deserves it.—

Jimin got on a bench to reach the phone from Tae’s hand.

But it was too late for him because Tae had already ran and made his way towards the stairs down the rooftop.

“Kim Taehyung!”

Jimin shouted as he ran after him.—

Tae was down on the 4th floor, meeting some students.

He keep saying ‘excuse-me’s’ as he try not to bump into students. He was giggling as he run because he knew Jimin was after him.

As he run, he tried to type the context to send it to their school files account.—

Luckily, he looked up, and saw that Jimin was on the other side of the hallway that he’s taking.

He laughed in surprised and quickly took turns, going back to where he came from.

The floor was a but slippery, but he can manage it.—

He took the other stairs down to the 3rd floor on the left side of the hallway because Jimin was on the right.

He’s almost stumbling on the stairs as he tried to avoid the students he ran onto.

A lot were looking at him because of his running.—

Just as soon as he got down the stairs, Jimin was almost near.

He was so surprised that he made a huge flinch. His laughter echoed through the hallway.

Tae quickly took turns and went on the left side instead, meeting their President Council.—

“Kim Taehyung, no running!” Lisa cried, watching Tae ran continuously.

She rolled her eyes in annoyance. “Gosh, that brat.” She said and left.

But before she could, she also saw Jimin running in the hallway.

“Park Jimin, stop right there!” She cried.—

Jimin tried to stop on running by his feet, & he did, but he slipped as the floor was slippery & his speed was too much.

His butt hit the floor. “Ouch!” Jimin cried &stood up. “Isn’t it the ‘no running in hallways’ a policy here now?”

Jimin scratched the back of his head.—

“I’m sorry President, my bestfriend is just—“ Jimin reasoned out.

“You’re a peace officer, okay? Do your job or I will charge you with this.” Lisa said, and Jimin nodded.

After Lisa left, Jimin stomped his feet in annoyance.

“Gosh! I even got scolded!”—

While Taehyung kept running with the thought that Jimin was still after him.

As he ran, he tried to look back for him, somehow unable to control his speed.

“Is he still after m—AH!”

Tae cried as he bumped onto someone, and they fell down the ground.—

The impact was really hard. Tae’s eyes was shut tight with the fear of hitting the ground.

But instead, he just felt arms around him and he heard a loud groan.

They slid on the floor with the impact, and everyone was looking at them.—

As the slide stopped, Tae was holding his breath, and he slowly opened his eyes.

On to realize that he was on top of a person, that’s why he didn’t hit the ground.

He saw the person’s face, and he really is in pain.

“Ouch! That hurts.” He groaned.—

Tae panicked as he saw the guy’s elbows, and its somehow bruises.

He quickly got up and helped the guy get up too.

“Oh no I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to! I-I wasn’t looking on my way, I’m really sorry!” Tae cried, almost tearing up in nervousness.—

The guy stood up, and brushes his fingers through his hair as it was covering his eyes.

He felt the pain on his elbow. “Its okay, I wasn’t looking on my way too.” He apologized.

Tae felt so guilty as he look at the guys wound, its bleeding.

“Its bleeding! Come on, let’s take you to the clinic!” Tae held his wrist.

“Hey no! Its okay, I can handle this.” He said with a sincere smile. But Tae insisted.

“Please, I really feel guilty. Just let me take you to the clinic, okay?”—

The guy couldn’t resist anymore, he just let Tae take him towards the clinic.

And he thought that Tae’s grip on his wrist was really cute, he’s really worried and guilty.

As the arrive there, the nurse immediately aided the guy’s wound.—

And Tae just stood on the waiting area inside the clinic, holding tight onto his phone.

He’s really nervous, maybe he was being a bit careless. He bit his lip to stop himself from tearing up, he’s like a baby.

“Hey,” the guy called, and Tae flinched in surprise.—

“O-Oh, are you okay now? Did the nurse say something? Do I have to pay for some—“

Tae was cut when the guy giggled a bit. There’s now a band-aid like on his elbow.

“Don’t panic, I’m totally fine. Its just a wound, not a stab.” He said.—

Tae gulped, he bowed down in 90 degrees. “I’m really sorry for what happened, I didn’t mean to do that and It was really my fault for not looking into—“

As Tae say his apology speech, the guy noticed the necklace that was hanging down on Tae’s neck while he’s bowing.—

His eyes narrowed, trying to know if he’s seeing it right.

“I’m sorry to ask but...where did you get that necklace?”

The guy hesitantly asked, not wanting to make Tae uncomfortable.

Tae was taken a back, “O-Oh, this necklace?” He held the pendant on his hand.—

“This isn’t actually mine. My parents gave this to me when I was still young. B-But they said that its from my late uncle.”

Tae explained, holding tight onto the pendant.

“W-Why do you ask?” He’s still nervous.—

Jungkook shook his head and smiled. “Nothing, I just remembered someone from that necklace.”

Tae’s brows frowned. “You mean to say, you’ve seen someone with this necklace before?”

Jungkook nodded, “Yeah, but that’s a long time ago. You just probably have the same necklace.”—

Tae looked at him suspicious, grip getting tight on the pendant.

“Are you serious? But as far as I know, only my family have this kind of necklace. So how come?”

The guy also got confused. “I don’t know? But I really saw that be—“

The guy paused. “Wait a second,”—

The guy looked at Tae like he’s inspecting him.

“Are you perhaps...Kim Taehyung?” The guy asked, feeling nervous too.

Tae’s brow cocked, feeling surprised. “How did you know my name?”

The guy face literally lit up as he smiled when Tae said that.—

“Hyung its me! Its me Jungkook! Jeon Jungkook!” The guy cried, eyes smiling also.

Tae frowned, the name seems familiar to him. “D-Do I know you?” Tae asked.

The guy bit his lip, trying to find a way for Tae to remember him.

And an idea hit him.—

The guy showed him the same exact sign that he’s never ever forgotten.

The ‘i-love-you’ sign.

Tae’s eyes bawled, hand covering his mouth in surprised.

“Wait, you’re really Jungkook?!” Tae cried as he look at the guy in front of him.—

Because as far as he can remember, the Jungkook he saw back then was cute, eyes so round and it has stars in his pupils. His voice is so tiny and Tae was taller than him back then.

But now, the Jungkook he’s seeing is all grown up, and he’s somehow taller than Tae now.—

“Yes! You thought me this sign right? When I was lost?” Jungkook cried.

Tae ran to him for a hug. Both felt so happy because they thought they won’t see each other again.

“Oh my, its been so long! You look different!” Tae laughed.—

“Yeah, you too.” Jungkook said.

They were still talking for awhile, not being able to find each other’s childhood friend.

Until someone came inside the clinic.

“Oh, Captain! They told me you’re here. What happened?”—

Tae felt scared, because he’s the reason why Jungkook is in the clinic.

“Just a little wound, but I’m okay.” He told the guy wearing a jersey uniform.

“Oh, this is Taehyungie-hyung, my friend. Hyung, this is Yoongi-hyung, my teammate.”—

They bowed to each other. “You’re a Captain?” Tae asked.

Yoongi nodded, running an arm around Jungkook, as he act proud.

“Yes! He’s a basketball Captain. He’s really good, you know? Do you want to see our practice—aw!”

Jungkook laughed as he pinched Yoongi’s ears.

“Don’t say that, he might be uncomfortable.”

Tae shook his head and smiled. “No! Its fine, and is it really okay to see you guys practicing?” Tae asked.

And Yoongi nodded quickly, “Of course! Why don’t you cheer for him?”—

Jungkook pulled him onto the side where Tae couldn’t hear the both of them.

“What are you doing? You’re exposing me!” Jungkook cried.

“What? I’m helping you with him. Isn’t he your friend with that necklace you told me? You said you have a crush on—“

“Shh!”—

The three got out from the clinic, but as they open the door, they saw Jimin in the front.

His expressions changed when he saw Taehyung. “There you are you motherfucker—AH!”

Jimin stepped on a spilled water and almost slipped, but luckily, Yoongi held his hand.—

Yoongi being Yoongi, he winked at Jimin.

Jimin quickly got up and shook his hands off him. “Thanks.” He said without even looking at him, still traumatized at guys like those because he just came in a breakup.

“Am I gonna see you later?” Jungkook asked Tae.—

Tae smiled and nodded. “I think so. My next classes are on the afternoon so I’ll have a lot of time today. See you?”

Jungkook couldn’t help but to smile. “Okay then, see you.”

Yoongi and Jungkook left, but Jimin heard what Yoongi said.

“That other guy is so rude!”—

“I heard that bitch!” Jimin shouted back and tucked his tongue out at Yoongi who’s rolling his eyes at him.

“Looks like you got yourself another man huh?” Tae teased, and Jimin smacked him on the arm.

“I’m gonna kill you! I got scolded because of you!”—

It was full of laughter, and Tae didn’t know why his heart was beating so fast.

That moment when they fell together, an image suddenly popped in his mind like a flashback but its very vague.

Not knowing that it was actually their past.
[ AFTER A YEAR ]

443.

“Woah! I missed the arcades!”

Tae cried, opening his arms wide as he feel the cold breeze brush on his skin.

Its now 7 in the evening, and Jungkook brought Tae to the arcades for their date tonight.—

Even though they’ve been in dates before, but for Jungkook, this time is different.

Its been so long since they first found each other, and he admit that he had a little crush on Tae.

But as they spend their time together, Jungkook realized that maybe,

he’s inlove.—

And with that, he asked his best friend — Yoongi for some advice.

He’s planning on confessing to Tae tonight.

He’s afraid to get rejected, but its now or never.

“Let’s go on the carousel first!” Tae cried as he happily pointed at the carousel afar.—

Jungkook laughed a bit, “I thought you’re gonna choose some grown up rides.”

Tae pouted, “It can be for grown ups too!” He held Jungkook’s wirst and dragged him towards the carousel.

There are lots of people, mostly kids. But Tae doesn’t care, he wanna have fun.—

It was their turn on the line to ride the carousel.

There are some adults inside too, but its because they’re guiding their kids.

Tae thought of pranking Jungkook.

So he let the younger ride first, and as soon as the gate was closing, Jungkook realized it.—

He was already riding a horse, and his eyes bawled. “What the—hyung?!”

Tae was laughing so hard, while Jungkook was pouting as he felt so betrayed.

He rode the whole ride with the frown in his face.

But as he saw Tae laughing, he didn’t know but he found it funny too.—

Tae took a step back from the carousel, taking his phone out as he open the camera.

“Jungkook! Say cheese!”

Tae cried as he capture him who’s giving him a glare.

He set the photo as his wallpaper, he thought it’ll make him laugh in the morning.—

They rode a lot of rides, dragging here and there,
