"Well well.. " said Garett with a grin. "You kiddies look positively fashionable!!"

Narina was wearing a black tan top with a yellow lightning bolt on it and a pair of denim shorts, while Nue wore a skirt with a neat pink shirt that had a blue paw print on the front.

They were sitting in the back of an old beat up Van. However, unlike the current types of vehicles of the century, this extremely old van had tires and ran on gasoline. Terrance was driving. A built in holo screen on the dash board showed Dez, who was staying back at the sushi shop. Nat was riding shotgun.

"Alright.. these are criminals that have been at it longer than the two of you have been at school, so effectively, they have more experience than you, but they haven't had highly qualified trainers like you, so there's no telling which of you has the advantage in a one on one fight.." said Nat as she tuned the strings on her guitar. "So don't be a hero.. we gave you casual clothes so you can blend in, and those signal flares you have in your school bags, use them if you think you're in trouble.. we'll head off in groups of two.. blend in with the festival that's happening tonight.. Narina, you're with me.. Nue, you're with Terrance.. Garett.. you do whatever.."

"Why am I always alone!?" said Garett.

"Cause you're the most experienced of all of us." said Nat. "You led this team before me remember?"

"Heh.. but you're stronger than me by a long shot.." said Garett.

"Why.. er... why are we riding in a 21st century vehicle?" Nue asked.

"Refurbished!!" Terrance corrected. "Plus.. this baby, is harder to detect on 4th gen vehicle radar, doesn't have the mandatory tracking tech see? And.. it's also my first car, so don't dis her!"

They stopped the car at a large nighttime festival.

Fireworks were going off in the sky.. and all around there were teenagers walking around, and little kids too along with their parents, exploring the different booths.

"That's right.." Narina muttered as she and Nat walked through the festival. "It's break time for my school and everyone who went to the same floor for school as me.. That's why they have this down here in the roots.."

"You grew up here?" said Nat. "Cool.. I mean, it's pretty nice.."

"We don't have all the cool tech you guys have in the upper floors of the Trunk." said Narina.

"Yeah.. but at least you have a real sky." said Nat with a smile, looking up at the clouds. "You can tell you know.. if it's real or not.. has a certain look and feel to it.. plus.. you actually feel a real change in wind and temperature, not the boring constant perfect weather they have in the Trunk."

"Guess living in both areas has it's ups and downs.." said Narina, laughing.

"You're actually a guy.. aren't you..?" said Nat.

"PFFFFTT FFFVVV WHAT!?" Narina jumped back, frightened.

"Don't fly off now!" said Nat with a laugh. "It's okay.. you're not the only one that had a mishap at the Rebirthing. Terrance.. actually used to be a girl.. Terry.. but.. she forgot to specify to the workers what she wanted.. and there you go.."

Narina's jaw dropped. "Y-you aren't pulling my leg or anything?"

"Not many people know about the accidents.." said Nat. "But I've seen a few of the gender bender ones.. they're extremely rare.. and nearly all of them are not purposely trying to change their gender.. you can tell, because they feel awkward in their own skin.. like you.. you seem to be intentionally trying not to look at your own breasts when you change clothes..  But.. you'll get used to it.. Terrance did, he barely even remembers being a she.. "

"Thanks.." said Narina, not expecting this level of understanding from Nat.

"Hey.. I know what'll cheer you up." said Nat. "How about I get us something from the booths? You like deep fried squid on a stick?"

"Love some! Reminds me of when Mom took me here." said Narina.

"Alright! Just wait there." said Nat with a wink, keep me in your sights, that way we don't leave ourselves wide open."

"Okay!" said Narina as Nat ran off to a nearby booth.

However, unbeknownst to Narina, in the crowd, a little ways behind her, the Magician smiled as he held up a card in his hand. The card glowed.

"Midirection.." Magician muttered.. and immediately Narina's eyes glowed slightly, and without her knowing it.. she began to walk off..

After a few minutes of walking, Narina stopped right in the middle of a bridge over a large lake area.. the glow in her eyes disappeared, and Narina blinked. "EH?... wait.. WHERE AM I!? D-did I just teleport or something!?"

"SHASHASHA!!" A strange laugh gurgled out from the lake. "Gotta hand it to Magician! His misdirection attack really leaves you newbies free for the taking!!"

There was a giant splash of water, as Barracuda Barry leapt out of the lake and landed, in front of Narina grinning.

"Yo-you're one of the-" Narina stammered taking a ready stance.

"That's right! Barracuda Barry's the name.. Accomplished Serial Killer, never caught!" said Barry.

"Serial Killer?" Narina muttered.

"Shashashasha! That's right!" said Barry. "You probably thought I was just ordinary crook! But that's only because the only people who know I'm a serial killer are my victims... screaming, pretty.. little.. girls.. all around your age!!"

Narina reached for her school bag, but Barry laughed and held out a flare gun, which he threw in the lake. "Looking for that? Well, come on girl.. there's nothing left to do but put on a good show while I rape and eat ya!! See? Another reason I'm never caught.. is I NEVER LEAVE A BODY!!!!"

Barry crossed his webbed hands together. "Combat Form: Great White!!"

Barry's muscles bulged, and his shirt tore to shreds as his skin turned dark blue, and his chest turned white. His dorsal fin grew larger, and his head became that of a ginormous great white shark. A massive shark's tail extended from his backside.

Barry opened his powerful jaws. "LETS HAVE SOME FUN PRECIOUS!! SHASHASHASHA!!!"

"Damn.. I have to fight!!" Narina growled. "STORM ART: ELECTRON CANNON!!!"

Narina fired a massive blast of electricity at Barry from her hands, But Barry dodged with extraordinary speed, appearing right behind Narina.

"GIANT CHOMP!!!" Barry lunged at Narina, opening his jaws wide.

"Magnet Art!!!" Narina covered her arm in stainless steel and blocked the attack, however, as soon as Barry chomped down on the metal arm, his teeth tore straight through metal like it was nothing..

Narina fell to her knees, screaming with pain, as blood trickled down the steel surface of her arm.

"NICE GIRL!! BUT MY JAWS SHRED METAL LIKE PAPER!!" Barry growled through his teeth. "But it looks like your muscles and skin are still tougher than I thought! SHashasha!! Still your screams are so lustful! I love girls!!"

"MAGNET ART! STUN BATON PUNCH!!!" Narina covered her other arm in steel, and enveloped the fist in lightning, punching the Barry's snout with a powerful blow, creating an electric shockwave as Barry let out a coughing cry of pain and staggered back, letting go of Narina.

"OW OW OW OW!!" Barry roared. "WHAT THE F*CK!!?"

"Punching a shark in the nose!! THAT'S SHARK BASHING 101!!!" Narina roared,  before thrusting her hand out. "STORM ART: CONDUCTIVE FIREWORKS!!"

Lightning blasted out of Narina's hand and converged on Barry from all directions, creating an explosion of electricity that sent a shockwave through the bridge, cracking the stone walkway.

Barry staggered out of the dust, shaking his head as he tried to recover from the blow. "Nice attack kid. But sharks have thick meaty skins.. makes em hard to zap, plus, I'm immune to Phantom Lightning, since my skin is a part of my body, and makes me a part of the target overall!! and as for the nose problem.."

Barry crossed his muscular arms. "COMBAT FORM: SAWSHARK!!"

Barry's skin immediately became the color of a sawshark's as his nose elongated into a large sword-like shape with teeth lining it.

Barry's sawshark head grinned. "Try punching me now!!"

"STORM ART!!" Narina roared, as she slammed her hands against the ground. "DEATH INDUCING DANCE FLOOR!!"

A large stream of electricity blasted out through the ground.. the electrified floor blasted into Barry's body, but Barry merely pushed through the powerful attack, grunting.

"Shashasha!!" Barry laughed once the attack was finished. "Like I said before! Thick Meaty Skin!!"

Barry jumped into the air, with incredible agility, and slashed his saw nose down at Narina. FISH FENCING!!"

"MAGNET ART!! STUN BLADE!!" Narina's steel arms formed into long samurai-like sword blades with erupted with electric energy as she crossed them together.. and blocked the saw nose.

Sparks flew from the friction, and the electricity, as Narina blocked the powerful blow, and a shockwave exploded from the point of impact.

Narina screamed as the force of the impact sent her flying off, despite having successfully blocked the attack.

"D-damn!! He's so physically strong!!" Narina grunted.

"FISH FENCING STAB!!!!" Barry shot at Narina like a torpedo, his nose out first, in an attempt to impale Narina.

Narina jumped out of the way just barely as she raised one of her electric steel swords for a counterattack. "FLASH SLASH!!"

"Combat Form: CRAB MAN!!" Narina's sword blade bounced off a hard exoskeleton, as Barry's body became like that of a humanoid crab, with smaller limbs jutting out of the sides of his torso, and the rest of his body in a large exoskeleton.. his arms turning into massive pincers.

Barry grunted, as a powerful electric charge surged through him from the sword and sent him staggering back.

"Oops.." said Narina, grinning. "Your armor may be tough, but you don't have your thick skin in that form do you!? STORM ART: ELECTRON CANNON!!"

Barry yelled out in pain as the giant electric beam sent him hurling back, creating a crater in the bridge with his armored body.

"Storm Art:... DRAGON'S REVENGE!!!" Narina quickly conjured up her massive electric dragon, which soared into the sky, roaring viciously before diving down at Barry.

"COMBAT MODE: WHALE SHARK!!" Barry roared.

His body became even more massive and muscular than before, turning yellow, and spotted, as he took the form of a humanoid whale shark.

Barry body slammed the electric dragon, bashing it apart with his thick durable skin and his sheer physical power.

"WHALE SLAMMMM!!" Barry jumped into the sky, and came down at Narina with a massive belly flop.

"YIKES!!" Narina screamed as she used electricity in her legs to propel herself away, while Barry's giant body slammed into the stone walkway, creating a large crater in the bridge.

"You're no match for me girly! I admit, you have more fight in ya then my others.. but it's best you just submit and let me service you nice and good!!" Barry growled.

"Sick..." Narina spat. "Just sick.."

"Combat mode: Great White!!" Barry turned into his Great White shark form again, and opened his jaws.

"But he's right.. " Narina said with a shiver. "I'm no match for him.."

Barry lunged at Narina.. his jaws open wide. "GIANT CHOMP!!"

Narina screamed in pain again as she fell to her knees, blood pouring out of her side, the only reason the bite hadn't killed her in one go, was because of the steel she had coated over herself and infused in her muscles before the blow hit.

Narina fell onto her back, panting hard, blood pooling from her body.

"Now.." said Barry, chuckling as he reached a finned clawed hand towards the collar of Narina's shirt, and began pulling at it.. let's see what kinda body you have under that nice bloody metal.."

"I.. can't die here.." Narina stammered. "I.."

"Still clinging to life are we!?" Barry growled. "Well forget it! Just lie back and enjoy yourself!!!"

Metal Art: Diamond Fist.." Narina whispered.

"WHAAAAAMMMMMMM!!!" A fist enveloped in pure diamond smashed into the side of Barry's shark nose.. and he staggered back, tears gushing from his eyes as he roared out in pain.

"YOW YOW YOWWW!!!!? WHAT THE CRAP!!!?"

Narina staggered  to her feet, grinning as she wiped blood from her forehead. "Too bad Shark boy.. You just made me mad.."

"WHY YOU!! GIANT CHOMP!!!" Barry charged in and bit into Narina's arm.. however this time..

"WWWWWWAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!! MY Teeeettttthhhhh!!!!!!" Barry staggered back as his teeth broke, blood gushing from his gums.

Narina's arm was covered in spikey diamond. 

"H-how!!? You're an electric user!!" Barry stammered.

"Diamond is made of pure carbon.. " Narina said. "You see. I create my steel armor by infusing iron particles with carbon.. so this time, I just took my power over carbon a little further.."

"But.. carbon ain't magnetic!!"

"It can be.." said Narina. "scientists found that when you fire a beam of protons into the carbon atoms to rearrange the electrons inside, it forces it into a magnetic state.. that's just what I do all the time.."

"Diamonds aren't just a bunch of carbon slammed together.. it's a highly complex structure.. it would've taken years to master that!!" Barry stammered.

"Really?" said Narina.  "I just tried it out now for the first time."

"DON'T MESS WITH ME!!!!!!" Barry roared. "COMBAT FORM!! KILLER WHALE!!!"

 Barry turned into a massive humanoid orca, his tail slammed the ground behind him, rupturing the bridge with his tremendous strength.

"HEAVY BLUBBER!!!" Barry jumped into the air and came down at Narina, sending a powerful punch at her.

"MAGNET ART: BEJEWLED VALKYRIE!!" Narina's entire body became covered in diamond, giving her the appearance of an ice sculpture.

"BOOOOMMMM!!" A shockwave sent water from the lake exploding outwards as Barry's fist made contact.

There was a pause.. then Barry jumped back, screaming and clutching his fist sorely. "OW OW OW OW OWWWWWWWWW!! THAT HURTS!! YAAAGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!"

"I can't move in this form.." Narina said, as her crystal armor disappeared. "But it makes for a decent defense against physical attacks."

"G-God damnit..!! Sh-Shocker Girl could never do that!" Barry stuttered. "WHAT ARE YOU!!?"

"A very pissed off cute girl." Narina said. "Now.. you've spent so much time bragging about your thick skin... but.."

Narina created a large javelin of diamond and hurled it into Barry's killer whale mouth, forcing it open like a jack.

"LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE GO PAST THE SKIN ALTOGETHER!!" Narina aimed a hand at Barry's open mouth. "STORM ART!!!! DRAGON'S REVENGE!!"

The powerful electric dragon exploded out once more, roaring, before hurling straight into the orca man's gaping mouth, forcing it's body down into Barry's throat, and straight into his body.

"BBBBZZZZZZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!" Barry screamed as the electricity coarsed through the inside of his body, and his body lit up like an x-ray, displaying all the bones inside him.

"Oooooooooo... aaaaahhhhhhhhhhh.." A few passerby children stopped in their tracks and watched Barry light up like the fireworks above. "So... pretty..

When the electricity stopped.. Barry coughed up the diamond javelin, stuck in a very hilarious pose which looked far more hilarious since he looked like a killer whale.

"F-fish.." Barry stammered, before falling over, his massive killer whale body crashing through the fence of the bridge, and exploding into the lake with a tremendous splash.

"That's right kids.." said Narina, holding a thumbs up to the watching children. "We do this every day in Sea World. But only to the bad whales."

Narina staggered to her feet suddenly, coughing up blood.  "Damn.. my body..."

"Hey lady!" one of the small kids exclaimed with fright. "Uh oh!  SOMEBODY HELP!!!!

I've got this.." A gentle set of hands held Narina as Nat set her down gently. "Don't worry, I've got you Narina-chan... good move, sending that dragon up into the sky like that.. Everybody could tell where you were with that move.."

Nat injected a syringe into Narina's arm.. InstaRepair.. a rare expensive medicine that instantly closed up wounds and replenished blood.

Narina groaned as she felt her wounds close up..

"I'm sorry Narina.." Nat said, looking serious and determined. "These guys were way more well organized than I thought.. they aren't acting like common criminals should! If we knew they were capable of pulling off a separation tactic like that, I wouldn't have brought you interns along."

"They're not common criminals.. "Narina groaned. "That Barry guy... he's a serial killer who was never caught.. he told me.."

"WHAT!?" Nat looked shocked. "This.. if that's true.. then we have no choice but to abort this mission! If these enemies are a higher level than we thought.. then we just walked you kids into a feeding frenzy!"

"N-no! We can do this!" Narina stammered.

"Narina.. you're a prodigy compared to a normal student, so they underestimated you." said Nat. "They won't make the same mistake again.. this isn't up for debate!!"

"No.. it isn't.."

Magician walked down the bridge, shuffling his deck of playing cards, his eyes shimmering..

"You two.. are staying right where you are.. till I say you can leave.." Magician whispered. "Understand?"
