On a beautiful sunny morning, Shira and her companions were working the farms. Shira was feeding grass to the goats while Toni and Jody were planting saplings on the farm.

Shira had no one in this world except for her two friends, Toni and Jody.
Antonia Flynn and mostly known as Toni, was a 16 year old girl with no trace of her parents, she never knew her parents, just like Shira and Jody. She had fair skin and black eyes, her hair were blonde in color.
Jordan Bennett and mostly known as Jody was a 17 year old boy with black hair and fair skin, he had blue eyes.

Toni was planting a seed just when she saw a dog running towards her and Toni shouted happily "Shira! Come here, look who's back!" As the dog climbed on Toni.

Shira noticed and ran quickly to hug the dog. " Hahaha, oh my god, he keeps disappearing" Shira said while both Toni and Shira hugged the dog.

The dog was their pet named Bruno who had disappeared a week ago, the brown colored dog would often disappear and then come back in a day or two but this time he came back in a week.

"Jody!, Jody! Look who's here" Toni called on to Jody.

"What is goin-"  Jody turned around and stopped in the midst of his sentence to notice Bruno.
"Oh my god, haha come here, boy, I've missed you so much!"  Jody said as he ran to hug Bruno.

"What a perfect timing right? Bruno comes on your birthday, Shira! Now we can all eat the cake together! Oh wait- oh no!" Toni said and regretted while Jody watched her in extreme agony.

"Can't you just keep one thing inside your mouth, Toni? Huh, guess these are the disadvantages of being a big-mouthed girl!" Jody said and Toni got up to hit Jody playfully.

"Oh come on, you both didn't have to do so much for me, besides, I didn't even remember it was my birthday today" Shira said.

"Shira! Don't talk like that, we are a family, right? And family looks after one another,beside that, it's your birthday so stop acting so grim." Toni said.

"So you think I'm grim? Is that it? You're so mean" Shira said as she made way to run after Toni.

"Run, Toni!" Jody shouted.
Shira ran after Toni and then they both fell to the ground as Shira had hold of her. "You're so mean! Haha" Shira said while laughing.
"At least I'm not so grim all the time!" Toni replied while laughing.
They both lay on the ground, tickling each other and laughing while Jody watched in joy just when Mr.Murray came through to see what was happening.

"Aw, little birthday girl having some fun on her birthday with her tiny little halfwit friends?" Mr.Murray said sarcastically.

Shira and Toni got up with a sad look on their face and Jody stood there all numb.

"If that's what you're going to do all day then you might as well leave house and farm too, do you get me?" Mr.Murray said with a ferocious look on his face.

"We are sorry, Mr.Murray, we promise it won't happen again" Toni said while looking down.

"It better not!" Mr.Murray said and walked back to the hut.

"Why is he always so grumpy?" Toni shrugged.

"Maybe he's pissed off at the fact that he's lonely? Haha" Jody said while laughing.

"Don't make fun of him, you know if he listens then all three of us are as good as dead" Shira objected.

"Why? Is he going to kill us? Are you really naive enough to think that this 'old' man could take care of the farms on his own?" Toni said while chuckling.

"No he couldn't but, there are many people that need a decent pay, which Mr.Murray can provide. Now you also know that we require a roof over our goddamn heads so we have to work"

"But we don't get paid!" Jody cried.

"That's because we live here." Shira said.

"Why are you taking that monster's side?" Toni asked in disbelief.

"I'm not, you know I hate him too but, we have to think rationally otherwise we will have nowhere to go" Shira said.

"Actually you know what? I think she's right" Jody said while looking at Toni.

"Yeah she is" Toni said while smiling at Shira.

"Hey, no matter what, we will always be together, we are a family and family must look after one another" Shira said and went forward to hug Toni and Jody.

"I love you" everyone said at the same time and they started laughing.

"Okay now come on, let's get to work" Shira said while parting her ways.

"But it's lunch time already and we have to cut your cake! Come on let's go!" Toni said as she started to drag Shira and Jody.

The three of them walked to the backyard and there stood a tiny table with a small cake.

"Thank you so much, it means a lot to me" Shira said.

"Haha okay now make a wish before you cut the cake!" Toni said excitingly.

"Okay" Shira stood there and blew the candles after making the wish as Toni and Jody clapped happily.

"What did you wish for? Jody asked and Toni struck him with her elbow.

"You idiot, her wish won't come true if she speaks of it to anyone!" Toni said.

"Haha no no! There's a hard chance of his wish coming true so it really won't make a difference if I tell anyone or not" Shira said.

"Okay so tell us, what did you wish for?" Jody said while Toni shot him a glare.

"Paradise" Shira replied.

"Paradise? What's a Paradise? And why did you wish for a 'Paradise'? Jody asked curiously.

"A Paradise. A place without sadness , a place away from all our grief and worries also a place without Mr.Murray!" Shira said while chuckling and everyone bursted out with laughter.

"A place with Harmony and that, my friend is the reason why I wished for a Paradise" Shira finished.

"So what are we waiting for? Let's go and find this place!" Jody said.

"Haha you're such a fool! Paradise isn't an actual place, it's more like heaven, right?" Toni said and pointed at Shira while asking.

"I don't know, for me, Paradise is somewhere we don't see Mr.Murray!" Shira said and yet everyone bursted out with laughter.

Suddenly Mr.Murray stepped into the backyard and kicked the table with all his force and everyone was astonished.

"Oh my god why would you do that, Mr.Murray?!?" Toni cried.

"You skipped my work so I destroyed your celebration" Mr.Murray said.

"But it was lunch time already!" Jody said.

"You took too much time, now back to work, you little rats!" Mr.Murray shouted and went away.

"Oh my god, I'm so so sorry, Shira" Toni said while hugging Shira as a tear came out from her eye.

Shira immidiately let go of Toni's hold and wiped her tears. "No, he always does this, but not anymore, I won't stay a slave my whole life!" Shira said and started walking towards her room while Toni and Jody followed her.

"Shira! Shira! Where are you going?!? We have to get back to work!" Toni shouted.

Shira turned around and said "No work. I know the gods wouldn't fulfill my wish so I will do it myself, go on and pack your stuff and pack some food for the road, we are leaving this place." Shira said while she signalled her friends to go to the kitchen to pack some food.

"But Shira, where will we go?" Jody asked.

"Anywhere, maybe the city of Vedronia where we can find some decent work with good pay." Shira said.

"The magical city?! Are you sure?" Jody asked.

"We can also learn some magic over there!" Toni said cheerfully.

"Okay okay now go and pack your bags and food. We have to leave now!" Shira said.

Toni and Jody nodded and they followed Shira to their room for packing.

They all started packing quickly while Jody was already done and said " I'm done with my things, I'm going to the kitchen to pack food" and he made his way to the kitchen.

Jody went to the kitchen and started taking vegetables, some meat and water for the road.

"Are you done packing?" Shira said when Shira and Toni entered the kitchen.

"Yes I'm done, let's go" Jody said and they made their way out of the kitchen when Toni stopped and said "Wait, wait, what about Bruno?" Toni asked.

"He will come with us" Shira said.

"Okay come on now lets go to the stable and get our horses ready." Jody and that's just when Shira stopped and said "You both go, I'll be there in a minute"

"Okay" Jody said.

Shira went upstairs and took Mr.Murray's sword which she usually practiced with sometimes when Mr.Murray wasn't there and she quickly ran to the stable with the sword in her hand.

"Come on! We are taking Jass, Anpiel and Balthail with us" Jody said as he signalled Shira to sit on one of the horses.

"I will make my wish come true, we are going to our very own Paradise, my friends" Shira said as all three of them sat on their horses with their stuff.

"It's not only your wish, it's ours too and we will make it come true" Toni said.

"Come on now, let's go before Mr.Murray- Shira said as she was cut  off in midst of her sentence because she saw Mr.Murray standing in front of her horse.

"You think you can take my horses, my food and run away?" Mr.Murray said as he struck her horse and the horse jumped on Mr.Murray frightingly. Soon Mr.Murray fell into the mud and everyone started laughing.

"The debt is paid, Mr.Murray" Shira said and gave a whim to her horse "Hiyah".

"You'll go to hell for this, oh you all would" Mr.Murray shouted while Bruno quickly came running from behind and followed Shira and her friends.

"I've never been so happy riding a horse" Jody shouted as his horse's speed met with that of Shira's.

"I know haha" Shira shouted.

"Hey look, even Bruno remembered to follow us even though we forgot him" Toni shouted as Bruno ran with them.
