Goodbye, I guess?

"Um... Tendou" you muttered. Your face was going red. This wasn't like you. You were meant to be strong, not a crybaby.
Your eyes burned from holding back tears. You stood up facing the two boys, hands clinging to the hem of your skirt. "I-I'm sorry" you stuttered.

(Currently editing and LMAO uwu s-sowy 🥺....THE STUTTERING IM ACTUALLY PISSING MYSELF)

The boys weren't used to you looking so flustered. They immediately knew what happened. Nothing else could upset you like this (expect not being able to play volleyball).
Tendou grabbed you by the shoulders, looking into your eyes. "I don't know how to say goodbye to you" you whispered.

"Then don't" he said sternly, wrapping his arms around you, his warm embrace feeling very welcoming in that moment.

Ushijima fell onto the both of you, his arms so big that he could hug both you and Tendou. He was never one for words so you didn't expect him to say anything.

Hugs from them were the best because they are so tall and compared to them you are tiny.

The three of you just stayed there in the classroom silently. The only sound that could be heard was a muffled sob from you that you tried hard to hide. They couldn't see you like this.

You pulled away from the hug. Smiling, tears making your eyes glisten. "Y/n...." they both said softly.

"You two better visit me and I'm expecting a text every day" you said punching them both in the arm.

Your mother had to collect you from school early. She was not happy. You never got along with either of your parents, they worked most of the time so how were you supposed to get along if you never saw them?

Your mother got out of a fancy looking car. She was beautiful and so elegant looking especially in her business suit, but the permanent look of disgust on her face made her unapproachable and cold looking.

Many students had lined up to wave you goodbye, you got along with almost everyone after all.

You put on a big smile that couldn't be more fake as you walked past the students. They couldn't know that you were hurting. You had the image of being the perfect girl, that everyone loved.

As you got into the car you flipped off the principal, earning many cheers from around you.
(#girlboss🙀👊👊)

Laughing at the look on the principal's face, you got into the car. The smile immediately disappeared. Your mother was going to kill you.

We were only on the road for two minutes before she ripped into you. "Y/N.... HOW COULD YOU?" She screeched. "DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD ME AND YOUR FATHER WORK FOR YOU TO GO TO A SCHOOL LIKE THAT? AND YOU JUST THROW IT AWAY LIKE AN UNGRATEFUL LITTLE BRAT".

You just stared out the car window.
She would be gone to work as soon as you got home.
This would leave you home alone for weeks, maybe months. The principal had already arranged over the phone with your mother that you would be going to Karasuno so you didn't have to do anything.

You didn't like that you lived kind of far away from Shiratorizawa but it doesn't really matter anymore. Your house looked so cold when there was no one home. You kind of hated your house. It was obvious that your parents just wanted to flaunt their wealth.

It was a huge modern looking house, but it looked like no one lived there. Which was kind of true.

Your mother and father were never at home, hell your father was never even in the country, and you were either at school or volleyball practice. It was only a place to eat and sleep.

You stomped into the house, throwing the bag full of schoolbooks that you won't need anymore onto the white tiled floor.

Your mother called to you about her going to work. You scoffed.
'Of course, all you do is work' you thought.

As soon as you heard the front door close, you ran to the kitchen and grabbed an apple before running up the stairs and opening the door to your bedroom.

This was the only room that looked like someone lived there.

The walls were filled with pictures of volleyball players and posters of your favourite animes. Clothes were all over the floor.

You took of your uniform quickly. You grabbed an old t-shirt and put it on. You already had shorts on under your skirt so you kept them on.

Apple in mouth, you ran outside, the volleyball in the same place outside as it always was.
It was hidden behind a flowerpot. Your parents didn't approve of your volleyball passion, so the few times that they are home you make sure to hide the volleyball.

"Expelled" you muttered, slamming the volleyball into the wall of your house, sprinting around to spike the rebound.
"What a load of shit, fuck that school, who needs them?"
You missed the rebound of the volleyball. The fatigue had finally settled in. Today had been exhausting, spiking the ball for the past hour didn't help.

You fell to the ground, tears in your eyes. You never cried yet today it seemed like that's all you do.

"Who needs them?" you repeated.
