Zain's Pov

"Let's take you home," I say and take Aria in my arms as Abeer and Aarav follow us.

"Yes, but I want to know who this Ronit guy is?!" She asks scowling at me and I grit my teeth.

"Aria you're tired, I will tell you about him tomorrow." I say. She looked tired and I know she will take more stress after knowing how and why Ronit is actually behind us.

"But-"

"He's right Aria, we will tell you about it tomorrow once everything is over." Abeer spoke from behind us and she sighed. She won't let the matter go I can tell that.

"Fine. How is Ahana?" She asks instead.

"She's good don't worry," I tell her but she looks unconvinced.

"I want to meet her." She tells all of a sudden. God!!!

"Not how Aria, you got to rest today!" I say in a stern voice. Gosh this girl! Can't she just for once think about herself? She was held at a gunpoint for fvck sake!!

"But I really want to meet her, want to know if she's-"

"Aria I said no!" This time I did not hold back and yelled at her that made her stiffen in my arms and next second she was out of my arms. Aarav and Abeer immediately joined us.

Shit!

"Dude calm down! She just wants to know if her friend is okay." Abeer tells me and I look at Aria who was now walking without looking at me, Aarav by her side.

"Hey how about you call her?" Aarav suggested and took out his phone.

Aria beamed at his words and nodded her head but still refused to look at me.

"Here," he hands over his phone to her and she goes away to talk with her and Aarav walks over to me with a glare.

"Not cool man." He mutters and I sigh.

"I was just concerned for her; she just took so much in span of eight hours!" I tell them and Aarav's lips twitched upwards at my words.

"I know, but come on you could've told that in simpler tone, you didn't have to yell at her for that!" He says and I see suspicious glint in his eyes but it must be because I was tired and I was seeing things.

"I regret yelling at her, I'll apologize." I admitted and look at her who was facing her back towards us and talking.

"So, you were concerned about her?" Abeer asked from beside me and I look at him exchanging looks with Aarav.

"Of course, I was, so were every one of us." I say, not really knowing why would they ask such a stupid question in the first place.

"Yes, we were concerned but we didn't go speeding up our bikes, almost crashing vehicles in the way, breaking traffic signals and especially jumping the gates of the mansion just to get in." Abeer says and he looked like he was holding back a smile.

"So what? I was concerned for her, she's my gi- she's my friend." I say stopping in time from saying girlfriend.

"Really? You almost climbed that gate Zain, look how huge it is!" Aarav say and point at seven to eight-inch gate of the mansion.

"Why are we even having this conversation at first place? It's not like I did something illegal, I wanted to get her and that's what was on my mind when I was trying to climb the gate." I tell as my eyes followed Aria as she talked.

"So, you don't feel anything for her except for friendship?" Abeer asks, his eyebrows rose.

I was startled by that question. My eyes followed the path Aria walked and suddenly she turned around and our eyes met. She was still talking on the phone but her eyes were on me.

"I- I don't know!" I whisper out and hear a sigh from beside me.

"Dude you don't know if you have or don't have feelings for her? Come on, it's so predictable." Aarav say and I turn towards him.

"What is?" I ask.

"You still have feelings for her, accept it." He tells me and I snort.

"No, I don't, I don't love her." I say.

"Yes, you do!"

"No, I don't."

"Yes, you do! Just fvcking accept it!"

"Once again Aarav, I don't!"

"Okay then, I'll find someone for her, she needs all the care in this world, and someone to share her-"

He kept talking but I didn't listen, I saw red, I was furious the moment he said he will find someone for her.

"You won't!" I mutter, my voice sounded dark, furious.

"I will." Aarav say and a smirk formed on his face and he looked at Abeer. "Hey man what do you think about Rudra? He's even in her class, he's studying Interior Designing. I've heard he is also-"

He didn't finish the sentence because the next second I lunged on him. "Shut up!" I say but he just laughed and shook his head.

"Nope," he tells me and look back at Abeer. "What do you think? They will even look perfect together! Aria and Rud-"

"I said stop it!" I say gritting my teeth. I was seconds away from punching the day lights out of him, friend or not!

"Leave him Zain." Abeer said trying to free Aarav from my clutches.

"First tell him to stop." I say and he rolls his eyes.

"Aarav please," he says and I loosen my hold a little on him.

Aarav took the chance and freed himself. "It shouldn't affect you if she dates anyone." He tells me with a mischievous glare.

"But she won't date anyone!" I grit out.

"And who are you to decide that?"

"I'm her friend of course!"

"Okay then, Abeer do you have Rudra's phone number?"

"Don't do it!"

"Oh, just you watch, they will be star couple in no time!"

"Abeer tell him to shut up before I-"

"Before you what? Hit me?"

"Aarav, I said shut the fvck up!"

"I won't, I want my best friend to be happy and if Rudra-"

"I swear Aarav if you take that bastard's name one more time I will hit you!"

"Oh, I will take his name, Rudra! Rudra! Rudra!"

"Abeer leave me I will kill him today!"

"No Abeer don't leave him, let me first call Rudra then you can leave him."

"Abeer leave me!"

"Oh, I think I've his number saved on my phone somewhere,"

"Aarav I will kill you!"

"Oh yes here it is!"

"Abeer leave me!

"I'm calling him now,"

"You Asshole don't you dare!"

"It shouldn't affect you if he calls him or not Zain." It was surprisingly Abeer who was right now holding me back from hitting Aarav.

"It affects me okay, it affects me." I say and try to let him loosen his hold on me.

"It shouldn't affect you; you are her friend." Aarav says with a smirk and show me his phone where he was actually calling someone named Rudra.

That Bastard.

"Okay! Okay! I admit I love her! Now will you fvcking cut that call?!" I say and was startled at the words that left my mouth.

"Thank heavens." Abeer mutters from behind me and left me but I stayed on my spot. Shocked and Dazed.

Did I just really confess that?

"Finally! Man, you worked me up so much." Aarav muttered smiling wide and looking at me smugly.

"Were you really calling him?" I ask.

"No! I just dialled some number and saved his name!" He says and laughs.

But my glare was prominent on him. "Not cool Aarav, not cool at all." I tell him.

"But at least that made you confess your true feelings for her." He pointed out.

"Yeah yeah whatever! It's not like she loves me back." I say and saw him roll his eyes.

"Well that's something you have to find out." He says and that's when Aria walks towards us looking confused.

"What's going in here?" She asks looking at Aarav.

"Oh, nothing special, we just made Zain confess his-"

Before he could utter, I had stomped his feet.

"What the hell man?!" He says looking at me startled.

"It's nothing." I tell her but she refused to look at me but nodded her head.

"Abeer, can you drop me home?" She asks, her voice sounding tired and I desperately wanted to hold her in my arms and-

And what Zain?

"Sure, come on." He says and she immediately follows him.

I wanted to reach towards her and ask her to come with me instead. But I stopped.

Tomorrow. Tomorrow will be different for us.

We will start something new and you will be mine again. I promise.★★★
