Hi, dad. How are you up there? I know you're smiling right now. Well, me,too.

A lot has happened in a span of a year. I mean, after that reality show that Sam and Jesse forced me to join, little by little, our lives have gotten better.

Let me start that after 7 years, I, Maxine Reeves has finally received her high school diploma. It felt so good that I was able to hold it. Mom burst into tears and I, too. And Sam. And Jesse.

Speaking of Jesse, did you know he is actually really good with handling kids? I mean, he's really really good with them! He's still a music teacher at that center I've used to work on. He is so passionate about teaching that he had himself learn on playing other instruments other than a guitar. I mean, how cool is that? Justin is helping him do so along with-could you believe it-my best friend, Casey (which they're also currently dating). They just love music. I love watching them.

Plus, he's deciding to date his student's mom. Oh and she's a single mom.

Sam, on the other hand, after earning enough for an art school, he got into one! And he's a scholar! I always knew he was the smartest among us three so, I was also not surprised that he got into a scholarship (which is pretty cool). He's starting this September and he's just so psyched about it to the point of talking about it non-stop that sometimes it gets annoying but we didn't want to hurt his feelings. Sandy was the only who dared (which I just recently knew, they've been going out for like a year while I was in the Mansion.) He tends to shut up but then after a few moments, he'll start again. It's crazy. But, we're happy for him. Really. I know you are too.

Mom is in good health now. I mean, she walks around the neighborhood and talks to the neighbors. It was good that she had some color-I've always love that glow in her way back when you were still here.

And lastly, about your pub. After I graduated (it still sounds so good to hear!), I got into this workshop about bar tending. It was a 6 months workshop but I really enjoyed it. And right now, I;m the one running our business, dad. Ian helped us with the business plans and also with the redecoration of the pub. Our pub has been running in smoothly for the last 9 months and we've never been so happy. We, Sam, Jesse and Mom and well, along with Beatrice and Sandy, does the best we can to make your pub alive like it was before. Mr. Wellington tends to visit it often times and it really delighted me. Even Ian's family and my friends and other friends in the Mansion visits it some time. We're also planning to have some sort of a stage for music entertainment. What do you think, dad? You also love music. You'd love that.

And oh, I never thought I'll ever be this happy with a man. Ian is a really great guy and I am just so lucky being with him. We tend to get busy in our worlds but we made sure that we still have time for ourselves. Sometimes we visit that retirement house and dance with old people which is pretty fun. Although, I'm still not used to his luxury side. Whenever he invites me to his parties, I always get stiff; getting a pretty dress and being prim and proper. But he always reminds me to loosen up and being myself and so far, they tend to enjoy me there as I told them my misadventures.

Her mother amazing and her sister too-heck, his whole family is amazing. Ian and I are planning to have a lunch date between us and his family. I was thinking to do something fun while we eat our lunch. Would fishing do?

Anyway, you were right, dad. Everything will eventually get better if you just hold on to it and work everything for the things you love. Thanks, dad for teaching me that.

I have to go now. I'll visit you again next week.

Max smiled as she read the engraved named of his father on the stone. She run her fingers on it before she stood up and gave it a kiss with her hand.

"Are you done?" the voice behind her made her spun around and had her smile even wider, popping her blushing cheeks even more.

"Yep." Max replied as the man approached her and embraced her waist, looking down on the grave.

"Hey, Mr. Reeves. I've got to borrow your daughter for a while." Ian smiled before planting a kiss on his petite girlfriend.

"Where are we going anyway?" She asked, leaning her head on his chest.

"It would be a surprised. You go first, I'll catch up later."

"Alright." She grinned at him and planted a kiss on his lips before turning around, skipping towards the car. Ian watched her, chuckling. He then looked at the grave, bending down to touch the freshly cut flowers Max brought for her father.

Hey,sir. In the entire year, I've watched your daughter everything she can just to have her family's dream and yours come true. I've always admired her determination to reach her dreams. But, she's beautiful and an exceptional woman-I've got to thank you for raising her well and being patient with her despite her pushing you away. Because of your goodness sir, she was able to give love and happiness to others completely.

I'd know because I've felt it myself and have seen in it to her family, to her friends and to other people.

You've showered her kindness and love and rest assured that I'll do the same with her because I love her, sir. Very much.

Other than that, I've come here to ask you a favor and your blessing. I won't ask her yet because I know she's gotten busy with your family business and of course, to her family. A lot of things has gotten in her mind and I don't want to interfere with it for now. But, I want to ask you first sir, that in some time  I'd ask your daughter's hand in marriage. I hope you'll give me your blessing.

It won't be long, sir though.
