*Maya POV*
Yesterday, I had so much fun with Dominique at the mall. It really took my mind off a lot of shit. As soon as I went home last night, sadly, I was snapped back to reality.

I sat, and watched the TV. The flipped it on the news, and started to pay close attention to it as they mentioned Bri.

"This is Sarah Devonport coming to you from FOXNEWS. We have a new story, and it seems to be a crazy one. Former stripper, Brianna Anderson is missing. She has been missing for the past two weeks now. It had been reported that the last place she was seen was at the popular nightclub, Addiction, on a Saturday night. We have reporters outside of the building now." the reporter said.

After the reporter, Sarah said that.. It showed a whole bunch of police cars outside of Addiction.

"What the fuck?" I said as I sat up & got a sick feeling in my stomach. This shit haunts me everyday. That night I beat her up, and she stopped breathing haunts me. Derrick and his homies carrying her dead body into the car haunts me.

I needed to head down to Addiction. It was cops and reporters surrounded by it. So, I quickly got up, slipped on some shoes, put a jacket on, grabbed my keys, and flung my door open. On the other side of the door stood policemen as well.

"Not so fast Maya. Maya Lawton is it?" The cop said as she looked me up and down. Her and couple of other cops just let themselves in my house without asking or nothing. Rude asses.

"We have a couple of questions for you." the cop said. I looked her up and down, then at her name tag.

Officer Jefferson.

I tried not to let the shit show, but I was nervous as fuck. "When was the last time you seen Bri?" Office Jefferson asked me.

I nervously put my head down. "Two weeks ago." I said. I didn't want to lie, and make the shit worst than what it already was.

"Hm... So the night she went missing? After she worked a shift at YOUR nightclub." Officer Jefferson said. I turned my attention to the other cops as they started to search my home.

"The fuck are they doing?" I asked, bothered as fuck. One of the cops who was searching through my shit looked at me and smiled.

"Don't think we don't know what you did." Office Jefferson said as she flashed me a smile.

"Y'all don't got no warrant to search my shit." I said I got nervous and nervous by the minute.

"We got probable cause. We don't need no damn warrant." Officer Jefferson said to me. She looked around as they continued to search my shit. "Are you going to answer my questions?"

"The last time I seen her was a couple weeks ago." I answered, turning my attention back to her.

"When she worked a shift at your nightclub, correct?" she asked me.

"Correct." I answered. I didn't want to lie, but I was afraid if we kept doing this shit that I would be put behind bars for real.

"Was she not staying with you at the time?" Officer Jefferson asked me.

How did she know all of this shit, I thought.

"She was, but-.." I started, but was interrupted as I was hit with more questions.

"So you were the last one to see her before she magically disappeared?" Officer Jefferson asked me as she jotted down some notes.

"I don't know what you're trying to ask. I didn't even see her." I lied.

"You just confirmed that she worked a shift at the night club you worked at. Now, you're saying you didn't see her." she said to me.

Fuck.

"Also, you're the only one at this point that really has any motive to do it." Officer Jefferson smiled as she obviously tried to get under my skin, and it worked. The guilt I felt for what I did ate at me every second of the day. This officer knew just exactly the right buttons to push.

"I DIDN'T FUCKIN' KILL HER!" I shouted as I dropped to my knees, and started crying.

"I'm not saying shit else until I have an attorney." I cried out to all the officers in my house.

"No need. Maya Janae Lawton, you are under arrest for the murder of Brianna Anderson." Officer Jefferson said as she pulled handcuffs out and arrested me.

Everything after that was a blur......
