After fencing class was over, Audrey was there, as promised, ready to take you for a treat.

"There you are! How'd it go?"

"I met Chad," you deadpan.

"Annnnd?" she asks. You give her a slightly amused looked and hand her a sheet of paper. Audrey looks at it for a moment, squealing in excitement.

"You made the team!" she says excitedly.

"Yeahhh," you reply, not understanding why she was so hyped but it was quite entertaining. "So what's this treat you were talking about?"

"Oh yeah! Have you ever had cheesecake?"

"What the heck is cheesecake?"

=

"Audreyyy," you moan, taking another bite out of the sweet treat. "This actually tastes so good." Audrey laughs at the rather amusing sounds that come from your mouth, watching as you devour the cheesecake without remorse.

"Glad you like it," she laughs. "So tell me about home." You'd taken a pause from eating to raise an eyebrow at her, curious as to why she was curious about it.

"Uh, alright?" Talking about your childhood was something that never occurred often, unless it was from the younger kids that you hung around occasionally on the Isle. Everyone else already knew what it was like, they'd been through it as well. But this was Auradon, and the people here knew nothing other than sunshine and happiness.

"So, I'm the daughter of Jack Sparrow, which you know already. I have a divided group of friends, they love me, but they hate each other, and it's been like that for a while now."

"Is it hard like that?"

"I've gotten used to it," you admit, pushing yourself back and forth in the chair. "The hardest part would be keeping it a secret from Mal."

"Wait, she doesn't know?" Audrey sudden asks.

"Oh, Hades no," you reply, shaking your head firmly to emphasize the point further. "I wouldn't dare tell her. She's got a god complex that she can't seem to let go of."

"Actually, no one knows on this side except for Carlos, and that's only because he found out and hadn't told me."

Audrey hums thoughtfully, twirling the straw inside her drink slowly counterclockwise. "Are you gonna keep it up forever?"

To be honest, the thought never struck you as to how long you would actual have to or even manage to do it, so when she asked, you really didn't have a good answer for it. She understood though.

"You've handled it this long, what's a little longer?" She encourages. Just as you go to change the topic of conversation, Evie suddenly walks up to your seat, leaving quick, feather-light taps on your shoulder.

"We need you in our dorm," she informs once your gaze is fixed upon her. Giving her a small nod, you stand out of the chair, collecting your belongings and giving Audrey a rare apologetic smile.

"Sorry to cut this so short."

"No worries. Just make sure to text me, alright?" You nod in agreement but internally sigh because you knew that meant having to figure out what on earth a phone did, since Ben had provided you all with one upon the arrival.

"Got it," you answer, beginning to walk away. "By the way, love the cheesecake!"

+++++++++

Arriving at the dorm room, everyone was hung around different areas, Mal lying on the bed stomach down, Carlos on the floor, crosslegged, leaning against the foot of Evie's bed, Jay leaning against the wall beside it, with Evie going to take her spot at the desk.

"Ooh," you tease, collapsing on the floor beside Carlos. "Are we having a sleepover?"

"Haha, you're so hilarious," Mal mutters sarcastically. "We're obviously making a plan to get the wand."

"Wow, I would've never guessed." You refrain from rolling your eyes and look up at Jay, acknowledging his new tourney shirt. "You got in?"

"Of course I did," he smirks. "But look beside you, it's even better."

He was definitely right, because the last thing you expected to see was a brown furred dog curled up beside Carlos' leg, who was absentmindedly running a hand through the fluffy coat.

"Woah," you gape at Cruella's son. "Is that a dog? Like a real one?"

"Yeah," he smiles. "Meet Dude, the campus mutt." The dog slowly walks over to you, allowing you to reach out and pet it.

"Nice," you compliment, basically on overcoming his fear of dogs. "Now about this wand situation-.." Tugging your backpack closer, a hand reaches in, guiding itself to the targeted object, eventually pulling out a sheet of paper. "When I was listening in class, note my immense use of sarcasm, I sketched up a little plan."

The rolled up paper spreads out on the floor, wide and displayed for all to see.

"Basically, we go back in through the shortcut route, eventually making our way towards the security rooms again," you explain, using your index finger to air trace over the created path, leading it to the targeted location. "If Mal enchants him with a stronger sleeping spell, Carlos can go inside and turn out all the tech, cams, bugs, things of that nature, and disable the forcefield, so that we have less a chance of being caught."

Your finger then points to an area labeled Gallery. "Once we get to that point and straight shot up the stairs,  Jay can grab the wand with Carlos while Evie, Mal, and I will keep a lookout just in case not we missed a guard or two. Then boom, we give our parents what they want,  and there. Long live evil."

"No, no, no," Mal quickly dismissed you. "You realize you've never planned anything in your entire life, right? How do you know it's going to work?"

"Because Mal, while I may improvise everything  I do, like I explained earlier, all I need is a good organizer and to put all the thoughts together." you replied, eyes firmly stating you were in no mood for whatever she was trying to get at.

"Whatever, I said no. We're doing something different."

"What about your plan with Jane?" Jay asked. "Did it work?"

"Do you think I'd be going through every single spell in this book if I hadn't completely struck out?" Mal snapped, gesturing to the brown book in her hold while holding a glare.

"Someone's in a bad mood."

"Told you it wouldn't work," you comment, rolling the paper back up. "And that getting other people involved was as terrible decision, but hey, 'what do I know?"

Mal clearly caught the root of the insult, recognizing her earlier words to you.

"We can do this!" said Jay, cutting through the tense atmosphere, the entire group looking to him in slight shock, Jay wasn't really one to say stuff like that. "If we stick together."

"And we won't go back until we do," Mal added. "Because we're rotten..."

"To the core," the others finished.

"To the core.." you mutter lowly, picking at your nails.

"Oh, me and (y/n) found out at that Fairy Godmother blesses Ben with the wand at the coronation," Evie mentioned. "Course I have nothing to wear."

"Oh yeah, the conversation with that kinda creepish Doug guy on the way here," you add on, standing up from the floor. On arriving back to the dorm, Evie stopped midway, telling you she needed to find Chad first, much to your annoyance, the guy was a literal dimwit.

You'd spotted Doug as you waited, hovering over the bleachers the two teens were talking over, frowning at the intrusion. He then proceeded to pop up.

"I couldn't help but overhear-" he starts, squeezing between the seats as Evie instantly snaps her head toward him.

"Are you stalking me?"

"Seems like it," you hum, walking forward with a bottle clutched in your hand. "Why are you following her, kid?"

"I noticed you have a fascination with Fairy Godmother's wand," he states, looking at the blue haired princess. "I do as well. Perhaps we can sit beside each other at the coronation to discuss it's attributes?"

A certain part of that question made Evie's eyes light up. "Are you saying that they use it at the coronation?"

"Yes," Doug confirms. "And also...asking you out?" You had to fight with yourself internally not to let out even the tiniest laugh.

Without saying another word though, Evie turns to walk away, nothing more than a smile on her face.

"A little tip buddy," you remark before you leave with her. "Lay off on the following. That type of stuff gets you killed where I'm from."

Doug's eyes widen and he physically pales. "Really?"

"No," you cackle, patting his shoulder and walking off.

=

"I was actually gonna keep that in the back pocket, honestly."

"What do you mean?"

"Oh, so you're lying and keeping secrets from us now?" Mal accuses.

"I've done that a lot," you shrug, leaning back in your returned position of the carpeted floor. "And saving something in the back pocket is completely different from lying, Ms. Pixie Dust."

"So I do rest my case then guys," the fae says coldly, hoping to affect you. "She really is just a malicious lying pirate. I bet she got it from her dad."

"At least I have one~" you sing with a smirk, obviously hitting a nerve there. "Also, malicious lying pirates have a 90% chance of murdering you in your sleep. I think you'd be a perfect test subject."

"Okay, that's enough," Carlos interjected. "Mal, please stop hassling her, you're making it worse."

"I'll drop it," you respond. "But like I was saying, I was saving it in the back pocket because I had an easier, quicker solution. Fooling around here would be pointless when we have what we need right in front of us."

Jay turns to look at you. "And may I add, it's the smartest plan she's ever had." He leaned down to hold the side of your head to ruffle the hair on top of it, everyone laughing except for Mal, who rolled her eyes.

"Uh oh, Jay's being weird guys," you tease, playfully smacking away the hand.

"Yeah, great idea, but no," Everyone frowned at Mal, who killed the mood once more. "We need something else." Just before anyone could ask anymore questions, a knock sounded from outside their door.

"Hold that thought," said Mal, slowly getting up, walking to the door and opening it to see..Ben?

"Hey Mal," he greeted. "I didn't see you guys today, I was wondering if you had any questions, or...anything you needed." The purple haired girl turned to look at her friends, who shook their heads.

"Not that I know of-"

"Cheesecake!" You quickly called back.

"Some cheesecake will do please."

"Okay," said Ben, walking backwards.

"Oh, wait!" Mal stopped him. "Is it true that we all get to go to your coronation?"

"Yeah, the whole school goes," He answered.

"Wow, that is beyond exciting," said Mal, beyond sarcastically. "Anyways, do you think we could stand in the front row next to Fairy Godmother and just..soak up all that goodness?" To sell the effect, she took an incredibly dramatic inhale, while your eyes rolled in disappointment. Plain obvious.

"I wish you could," said Ben. "Up front it's just me, my folks, and my girlfriend." Mal perked up, seeming to catch a new idea.

"Your girlfriend?" she repeated, looking back up at the prince with a smile. "Okay, thanks, byeee." The closed in his face, Mal turning to the rest of you, who looked a tad confused.

"I think it's time Bennyboo got him self a new girlfriend~" she smirked, clasping her hands together. "And I need a love spell."
