I woke up and scratched my head looking around. 

   " I'm going to get a shower and then go downstairs to the coffee place. "

I stripped in the bathroom and grabbed a nice shower before getting out. I dried my hair and slipped my clothes back on. I looked in the mirror at my appearance.

   " Good enough. "

I walked out of my room and took the stairs to the lobby. When I reached the lobby I smelled coffee and I started walking towards the source of the smell. I found myself in the coffee shop. I walked up to the counter and the girl behind the counter looked really stressed.

   " Are you okay? "

   " Not at all. What can I get for you? "

   " You can get me behind that counter so I can help you. "

   " You want to help? "

   " Sure. "

   " Okay, I'm Sukii. "

   " Hi, Sukii I'm A/n ( Alias name ). "

   " It's nice to meet you A/n. Are you good at baking or making coffee at all? "

   " Yeah, I can do both. "

   " Hmmm, can you work on the baked treats while I work on the coffee? "

   " I can. "

   " Alright here's an apron. "

Sukii handed me an apron and I got behind the counter. I tied the green apron around my waist and then made my way to the kitchen in the back. I started making desserts and setting them out on the display counter. We worked until it was around lunchtime. Two other people came to fill our positions while we sat in the lobby and talked.

   " So, where are you from, A/n? "

   " I grew up here in the Kanto Region. "

   " Really? So did I! How come I never saw you around before? "

   " Well, I was homeschooled and then I attended college in America. I came back a few months ago. "

   " That's so cool! "

   " Yeah, living in America was really fun. "

   " So, you came back after so long, why not stay in America? "

   " I had friends here I needed to come back to. " I said with a grim expression.

   " Did something happen between these friends? "

   " Yeah, we got into an argument and I left their place and came to this hotel so they wouldn't find me. "

   " Oh, I'm sorry. "

   " It's not something for you to apologize for. I just needed time to think without them around. "

   " How's your thinking going? "

   " So far, not great."

   " Maybe I can help. What's the issue you were arguing about? "

   " We were fighting because they didn't trust me anymore. When I came back I thought things were fine and we had trusted each other again but...they admitted that they didn't trust me anymore. Because of that, I fled their place really hurt and sad. "

   " Oh...well do you think they were trying to protect you? "

   " Protect me? "

   " Yeah, maybe they needed to push you away for a reason. Something could be going on and they needed to push you away so you wouldn't get hurt. "

   " I don't know. "

   " Just think about it. I think my shift is about to start again, do you want to help me again? "

   " Sure, let's go. "

We walked back to the counter in the cafe and started working again. We worked until it was dark and we departed from the cafe. I said goodbye to Sukii and walked back to my room collapsing on the bed.

(Inside an ambulance because they were saving Matsuda )

   " She still hasn't been found yet? " Light asked

   " No, Watari, Mogi, and Aizawa had no sighting of Y/n today. "

   " This will be the second night she'll be gone. "

   " Yes, it will. "

As soon as everyone got in the ambulance it drove off and away from the hotel.

  " While, I am aware of the fact that we're shorthanded, I'm not very pleased about having to do this sort of thing myself. Matsuda you idiot. "

   " Sorry, Ryuzaki. "

Once the ambulance reached the Task Force building everyone exited the ambulance. Lawliet and Light stripped themselves from the gloves, masks, gowns, and appeared back in their normal clothes. Lawliet sat back at his monitor and started looking around at the hotels. Light sat in his normal seat and starred at the phone he had given you.

   " Ryuzaki we can't let her stay out there anymore. We need her. "

   " Hence why I am looking at the hotels around the area and eliminating the hotels that have been checked. " 

Lawliet was worried about your well being and where you could have possibly gone. He never felt so lonely without you. He was used to being alone but when you appeared you stayed by his side and he missed that. The warmth and kindness you had given him. He would be sure to get you back to the task force and appreciate you more. He scanned all of the hotels when one caught his eye. It was a simple hotel really. One that was a little distant from the task force building but it was cheap, the hotel only charged 8,616.34 yen a night. 

   " Mr. Yagami, did your spouse ever give Y/n money? "

   " Yes, Y/n would do chores around the house every day and my wife thought she needed to be awarded. "

   " How much? "

   " I'm not sure. My wife would change the amount every time so there was never really any specific amount. "

   " I will be taking a small trip tomorrow, during that time all of you will remain here with Light. He is to not leave your sight. "

   " Where are you going? Did you find where Y/n is? " Light asked.

   " I am afraid that is confidential information only I should know for now. "

   " Ryuzaki, let me go get her. Again she knows I trust her, it would be better if I went. "

   " I will not allow you to leave this building unless you are chained to me. "

   " Then let's go together. "

   " It won't be a situation for you to be in. As they say, you would be third-wheeling. "
