" Light I'll be coming with you to Toho University. "

  " Why? "

   " To get some air and walk around. I don't want to stay stuck in your room all day. "

   " Alright, I don't mind you coming with me. We better start going now. "

   " Okay. "

We left the Yagami house and started making our way to Toho University. We walked around the campus until Light had to go to class. When he did I wandered around the campus myself until Light got out of his class. Walking with him out of the building was Kiyomi Takada. I walked up to join them as they walked.

   ' Lawliet should be around here somewhere. The plan if for him to meet Misa. I have to make sure Misa is here. '

We continued walking and we saw Lawliet sitting on a bench in the shade reading a book. Light didn't take notice until I tugged on his sleeve and pointed in Lawliet's direction. Lawliet looked up at us and smiled.

   "Oh! Hey, Light, Y/n. How's it going? " He said with his smile dropping.

   " Takada I'll talk to you later. "

   " Okay, bye Light. It was nice meeting you Y/n. "

   " You too. "

She walked off leaving us alone. We walked towards Lawliet and he set his book down and looked up at us.

  " I hope she's not upset. "

   " Never mind that, is it okay for you to be here?"

   " I realized as long as you're not Kira I should be safe, but the fact is you're the only one on the outside who knows me as well. Due to the assumption that I will die in the next few days, I have told the task force to assume you're Kira. "

I let them continue their conversation as I looked around. I didn't see Misa or her manager yet. I didn't even see the black car her manager drives. I felt worry creeping up my back as I looked around and couldn't find Misa.

   " Hey, do you guys want to join me for some cake in the cafeteria? "

   " Sure we aren't doing anything right now. "

   ' What the hell is going on? '

Lawliet stood up from the bench and we started walking down the path to get to the cafeteria.

   " I was really craving some shortcake. "

   " Light there you are! "

   " Oh, thank god. " I whispered.

We turned around and saw Misa running towards us. She recognized me but pretended like we never met. She looked at Lawliet.

   " This must be a friend of yours! He looks so different and unique. And the girl beside him looks cute! They must be dating. "

   " I'm afraid not. "

I could feel the atmosphere change. As the battle of L vs. Kira was happening. I kept my eyes on Light. Then Ryuzaki started laughing softly and smiled with his thumb to his teeth. It was weird to see him smile and to hear him laugh even the tiniest bit. I remembered this part of the anime. This is where Lawliet wins against Light because he apprehends Misa.

   " Light...you're a lucky guy. I have been a big fan of yours since the August Issue of Eighteen."

   " Really!? "

They started talking about Eighteen and Light just looked at me with total confusion. I only put my fingers against his cheek and turned his head back to watch the situation. People started recognizing Misa and were running to us. They crowded around us. Light and I managed to stay at the front of the crowd.

    " No way somebody just touched my butt!? "

Ryuzaki was the one standing behind Misa. I shook my head and watched everything happen.

    " This is an outrage! Taking advantage of this situation is unforgivable I will find whoever is responsible for this. " Ryuzaki said running in front of Misa.

    " Ryuga! You're so funny! "

   " What the hell is happening? " Light whispered.

   " Just watch and you'll understand the situation. " I whispered back.

After another minute of everyone chatting with Misa, her manager came to take her away. The crowd left us and Misa walked away with her manager. Leaving only Lawliet, Light, and me. We continued walking back to the cafeteria but Light stopped and said he needed to go to the bathroom. Ryuzaki and I kept walking and I noticed he pulled out a red phone from his pocket. It started ringing and he answered it.

   " Hello? "

    " Oh is it you Light? Someone must have dropped this phone in all the commotion earlier on. "

I smirked at him knowing that he actually snatched it off of Misa. Light walked back to us requesting for the phone, but,

   " I see sure that makes sense. "

Ryuzaki handed the phone to light and continued walking. This time his actual cell phone rang. He answered it and then turned to Light.

   " I'm not exactly sure how you'll take this, but regarding Misa Amane, there is something you should know. We've taken her into custody under suspicion of being the second Kira. "

   ' The plan worked exactly like it was supposed to. I was worried for nothing after all of this time. '

   " We gathered physical evidence that was gathered from the envelops sent by the second Kira. The public would be in an uproar about this so we have charged her manager with drug possession and she is a voluntary witness. But I doubt any of this would get out. "

Ryuzaki started walking away and I joined him in walking away. I looked back at Light and saw him still standing with a shocked face. I faced forwards and kept up with Ryuzaki.

   " You still want to get that shortcake? "

   " Yes, I've been craving it all day. Aizawa can handle the situation with Misa on his own. "

   " Aizawa? "

   " Yes, he was the one who came to apprehend her, but you knew that of course. Why are you questioning it? "

   ' Mogi was the one who came to do it. Mogi originally apprehended her. '

   " Y/n? Hello? "

I realized I was just starring into space. Lawliet was waving his hand in front of my face to break my trance.

   " You've broken out in a small sweat. Are you all right? "

   " No. I'm not. "

   " Why? "

   ' I don't know if it's smart to tell him or not. He doesn't know that anything has changed or not. I need to keep it to myself for now until I've decided what to do about the situation. '

   " I think my sugar levels are low. This is what usually happens when I don't have enough sugar in my system. "

   " Let's get to the cafeteria then to get that shortcake so you don't pass out. "

   " Y-Yeah. "

We walked to the cafeteria and started eating some shortcake. Lawliet, of course, got three plates of cake.
