Scotty was speechless as he stood there holding the flowers. The rain had gotten a little heavier but not much.
" Let's just end this here. Clearly we can't go back to the relationship we had before, now. "
She patted his shoulder and turned to walk away. The rain started pouring and he watched her form leave him all alone in the rain with flowers that danced behind her in the wind. Scotty felt a warmth trickle down his cheeks and he realized it was his tears. He was crying in the rain with only the stems of Violets in his hand. He walked home and threw away the stems and took a shower.
Scotty tried contacting Anzai but she never answered his calls. He would go to her workplace but they said she had transferred businesses. he had searched everywhere but it was as if she walked off the face of the earth. Anzai had left him heartbroken and in pieces. He picked himself back up and made a resolution that he wouldn't fall for another woman again.
' She said that she was a woman who had needs. Needs a single man can't take care of. All women have needs and if that was hers I can't handle another heartbreak. '
