He stopped the car near a restaurant which was damn highclass.. I can tell by looking at it.

"It's just a outing!! We could have gone to a local diner!" I said.

He smirked getting out of the car and opened the door for me holding out his hand.

I looked at him confused but placed my hand on his anyway..

"Just play along okay?" He asked.

I nodded suspiciously.

Getting out of the car he entwined our fingers and I looked at him weirdly.

Friends don't do that!!

Alden did that! You guys aren't even friends!

Why my mind has to be so right every freaking time?

I glanced at our hands and believe me they just don't feel right..

I had this sudden urge, and I pulled my hand back.

David looked at me and smirked. His eyes twinkling as if that's what he wanted.

I rolled my eyes..
God knows what's going on!

He entered the restaurant and pulled me with him.

"David Jones.." He said to the girl there.

"This way please.." She led us to a table in the middle of the room.

Looks like David loves attention huh?

"What is going on!??" I hissed as we sat there.

"What you think is going on??" He asked.

"Dave! I am not in mood of your puzzles!" I snapped. "What is happening?" I asked him.

"That you don't need to know yet.. Now let's just talk about work shall we??" He asked.

I glared at him but nodded.

He is worse than Alden! Idiotic stupid person!

Worse than Alden!? You mean Alden is better than him!??

No! I mean he is worse than Alden! Alden isn't better!

"Earth to Scarlett!!!!" David waved his hand in front of my face.

"What??" I snapped getting out of my trance.

"You were lost!" He shrugged.

I gave him a pointed look.

"David, Can we sit in a corner table?? It's uncomfortable.." I said.

I hate being centre of attraction.

"Nope! Gaining attention is the main purpose!" He said in sing song tone.

"You are behaving weird!! What is going on???" I asked.

Before he could answer, the waiter came asking for our orders.. We ordered our food and I looked at him expecting a answer.

"Whom do you suspect the most?" He asked conveniently changing the topic.

I narrowed my eyes at him.

"There are few people.." I said,"There is this guy called Rob Parker.. And then this another guy  Peter.."

"Peter Markson??" He asked.

I nodded.

"I too have doubt on him.." He said.

"Yeah.. Do you think it can be someone out of the company?" I asked.

"What makes you think that?" He asked his eyebrows furrowed.

"I don't know.. I just think that it IS possible.. Like see, he doesn't have to be in the company if he has computer skills!" I said explaining my point.

"Possible.." He said thinking on it and agreeing.

"Yeah.. And I guess we should also look for the companies who are beating Collins' in the deals!" I said.

"Yes we should! You are right on that.. You start working on Companies and I will work on outside people? Okay?" He asked.

"Alright!" I agreed.

"Do you like Alden?" He asked out of nowhere.

"Woah.. That was unexpected..." I said surprised by his question.

"No!!" I said shaking my head.

"Just don't hurry.. Think of it first.." He said tapping his hand on the table.

Do I like Alden??

No!! I hate him.

Yeah Probably I don't particularly HATE him.. Hate is a strong word.

Wait!! What are you trying to do my mind???

"Why are you asking me this??" I asked him.

"You will know.. Anyways, you like this restaurant?" He asked.

"Yeah!" I said looking around. There is absolutely nothing to dislike.

"Alden owns half of this.." He said.

"Wait! We are in his freaking restaurant???" I asked.

He shrugged.

"Are you out of your mind David????" I asked him loosing it.

"What is up with you?? What are you trying to do???" I asked him annoyed.

He just shrugged and started devouring the food that had just arrived.

I kept glaring at him occasionally and he kept ignoring me.

"Your brothers are quite scary I must say.." He said changing the topic.

I looked at his terrible expressions and bursted out laughing even though I tried to maintain straight face.

"I know right??" I asked him smirking,"May be now you will believe what I was saying was the truth! They would have killed you!" I said.

He nodded in agreement.

"They sure would have. Like I knew Browns are protective about their sister.. Which I didn't know was you! But I never thought this much protective." He said.

"I can understand.. But it's just that they have raised me.. I am like their daughter.. Even Sam thinks that.. It is right if you see from their point of view.." I said.

"How come no one ever saw you? Like Your Brothers are so popular in this country.. They are like the hottest businessmen! Like on the cover page of every freaking magazine and all.. How you were out of spotlight??" He asked me.

"Jealous of their popularity, are we?" I smirked.

I know they all are good looking and all.. But calling them "hottest businessmen" feels weird.. Like, unpleasantly weird...

"No!!" He snapped with a pointed look and I smirked again.

"Actually, I have problem with people.. Being around many unknown people and interacting with them triggers my migraine..." I said.

"Oh.. That explains a lot.." He said.

"Wait, Is that why you were so irritated the other day?" He asked as he realised it.

"Yes! Your dearest friend Alden thought it would be fun to make me stay with 5 unknown people!!" I snapped.

"Calm down woman!!" He said,"You get violent!"

"Then don't mention your friend!" I said.

"Anyways, just so you know, he was really worried that day.." He said referring to Alden.

"Yeah! He was just worried about the consequences he would face when My Brothers will know about it!!" I snapped him immediately.

He laughed.
"You and I both know the truth.. And what you said now, it not the truth!" He said.

"Will you stop talking about him?? Or else, drop me home!!" I said annoyed.

He just raised his hands in surrender and smirked not saying a word.

I rolled my eyes and concentrated on the delicious food in front of me.

The rest of the time went quickly.

We both were talking about random stuffs.
David is intelligent! Of course.. He is a hacker too! By this time he too knows about me being a hacker.

I have learned one more thing!
He hates Caroline with passion!! He would kill her the day he sees her..

I promised myself not to tell him about her.. Which is unfortunately me!!

He is a sweet guy.. I would love to have him as a friend!

Like I of course don't have a friend except Vi and now Christen.. I have never talked to anyone except those two and my Brothers of course..

David is kinda combination of Casper and Sam!!

He is fun to hangout with! As we share same interests, we have a lot to talk about!

But not to mention he annoys me to no end sometimes!

"Should we live or you are planning on staying here? Because from what I can see, they would now kick us out soon!" He said pointing out that we were only ones left there.

"Nah.. It's Alden's restaurant!" I argued.

"Yeah! He would personally kick us out then!" He said and I chuckled.

"I don't doubt that!!!" I shrugged laughing.

"Come on.." He said getting up and offering my his hand.

"Dude! What do you keep on doing such cheesy things!?" I asked him.

"Little more patience Scarlett.. You would know.." He said and I rolled my eyes.

He opened the car door for me and we drove away..

The drive was silent.
He pulled in front of our mansion gate and again opened the door for me.

I rolled my eyes again and he smirked.

"I had a great time!" I said giving him a friendly hug.

"Me too! You have a big night in front of you Scara! Enjoy.." He said winking.

One more nickname???

God! All the people in my life call me different names!!

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"Just think before you say anything okay? Sometimes the truth is different than what you see.." He said kissing my forehead and jogged back to his side.

I stood there dumbfounded.. Processing what was going on??

I shook my head as I saw him driving away and turned around walking towards the gate. But before I could, a familiar car pulled in front of me and I blinked to adjust to it's lights.

The ignition of car was turned off and the door opened to reveal a person whom I was least expecting to see..

I gulped hard and he walked dominantly towards me.

He stood in front of me his eyes unnaturally blue..
The Satan...

One thing I have learned about him... His eyes turn unnaturally blue when he is angry and furious..

Believe me.. He did look furious...
