Alden's POV

I saw her running out of the room and I felt an unexplainable feeling. I wanted to stop her.

"Toothless wait!" Dean shouted.

"Baby sis!" Casper shouted behind her.

We snapped our heads towards him.

Anger filled my senses.

Evan looked angry and so did Violet.

Before any of us could know anything, Violet slapped Casper.
He was shocked processing over what just happened.

Violet was furious!
Looked like she could do murders!

"How can you ask her to choose Casper?" Evan asked Casper in a furious tone.

He was still in shock.

"I didn't -I.."

"I don't care what you meant Casper! How can you ask her to choose between us and him! She loves him damnit!" Dean snapped.

"Boys! This is not the time to argue! Let's find her first." Braddon said in a monotone but his eyes showed the worry he was certainly feeling for his sister.

I clenched my fists to stop myself from doing anything she wouldn't like me to do.

"Come on guys! Let's find her!" Sam said quickly running out of the room.

"I am sorry." Casper said in a small voice going out quickly.

I looked at Dean.

"Evan! Search downstairs." Dean said.

"No! Go to Land Behind The Woods!" I suggested.

"Right! She must be heading there!" Evan said.

"The Land what?" Braddon asked.

"Behind The Woods. We will explain later!" Dean completed.

"Let's search you house Al. Let's get her before she goes out."

I nodded and we stepped out of the room.

My baby.. My Caroline.

She was hurt at this moment and needed me.

I wish I could stop her. I knew she was hurting more than anything right now and was broken because Casper asked her to choose.

"He never calls her Scarlett. None of us does. Only Brad if he is serious about something." Dean said as we passed through the corridors searching for nay sign of her mint green dress and I was sure, tear stained eyes till now.

"WE need to find her quick." I said. Dean nodded in agreement.

WE searched the whole house.

She was no where in the house.

"Where are you Caroline?" I asked more like to myself.

Dean called Sam.

"You got her?" He asked.

"No. She is not at her usual bookstore." Sam replied through the phone which was on speaker mode.

"Okay." Dean said," Do let me know if you find her." he said hanging up.

He quickly called Casper.

"Dean.. I am not able to find her!" Casper's voice came. It sounded like he was about to cry.

Of course he was. No matter how much he hated me and how much he was angry, he loves her to the core.

"It's okay. Just search." Dean replied in a soothing voice attempting to calm him down.

After hanging up he turned to me.

"Our last chance is Evan." He said.

"Where is Brad?" I asked.

"He is searching for her in the house with Vi. But I don't think she might be in any predictable place." He said.

Of course she wouldn't be. She is quite smart.

"She doesn't have friends, does she?" I asked.

"No. Not much of them.. She was always a alone kind of person." He said.

"So no possibility of going to any friend's place!" I said.

"The only friends she has are Vi and Christen." Dean said more like to himself trying to find out where she could possibly go.

"Christen is out of question! So is Vi cause she is with us." Dean said.

"David!" I said quickly!

Christ she got along well with him.

We could surely consider him as her friend!

"Yes! That date guy!" Dean said suddenly energy boosting into him.

"I will call him." I said quickly taking out my phone.

"David pick the damn call!"

That idiot picked the call up after 5 rings.

"Is Caroline with you?" I asked.

"Dude! Which Caroline you are talking about? Don't you know I despise that name!" He snapped.

"Ugh! Dave!! Is Scarlett with you?" I asked again.

There was a long silence.

I could hear my heart beating fast in my chest afraid of what is she wasn't with him.

What would we do then?

"What you guys did with her was wrong! Yes she is with me at my place but you aren't coming here neither she is going anywhere unless she wants to." He said hanging up.

I wave of relief flooded over me.

Thank Christ!

"What?" Dean asked.

"She is there." I breathed out.

"Thank god!" He said,"Let's go get her!"

"Yeah!!" I said,"I will just go to my room and get the car keys! Till then, Just inform Casper and others about it. That kid looked devastated." I told Dean.

He nodded.

I was about to turn and head to my room when Dean's voice stopped me.

"Al?"

"Yeah?" I looked at him.

He quickly pulled me in a brotherly hug.

"I am sorry for what I did and said." He said.

I was shocked would be an understatement. Dean apologising is a huge deal!

If I am rude and arrogant, Dean is more stubborn and egoistic.

I recovered from that shock.

"It's okay dude. I am sorry to." I said.

He pulled back.

I could see my old friend in him.

Whom I have done hell of things with. Who was my partner in crime. My best friend.

"I will just get the keys!" I said escaping the situation.

I was never good at expressing myself and so wasn't Dean when it acme to such emotional situations.

To make it less awkward, I had to get away from there.

I jogged to my room to get the keys.

It felt nice to be on good terms with Dean.

I got the keys and walked out of the room to get my girl back from David's house.

Thank goodness she was fine.

Well not exactly fine. I am sure she is crying.

But Dave is with her. He couldn't come to the party cause that idiot is sick!

Pun intended!

No! I hate myself for not being with her there instead of David. But he is better than any random stranger.

And the way he talked on the phone, I am sure Caroline has another protective guy in her life now.

He was surely angry on me and her Brothers.

I walked down the stairs and saw all the people in my house.

Christ they were here too! I totally forgot about them.

"Gentlemen and ladies!" I called out from the stairs grabbing their attention.

Once they were all looking at me, I spoke," You guys can go now. I have some really important thing to do. Something extremely important needs my attention right now. I am sorry to say this, but the party ends here."

They looked at me weirdly. I didn't care slightest tough!

After few moments they all started going out of the house and I sighed in relief.

I hate this social stuffs! Especially when I have to behave nicely with the people I hate just because they are my guests!

"Mr. Collins!" I heard a voice from behind me.

Gorge Elliott.

The person I hate with everything in me!

Our continuous competitors since dad worked in the company.

I turned around slowly.

"Mr. Elliott. I guess you heard what I said didn't you? I have something really important." I said venom dripping my voice.

His face in his late 50s broke into a selfish and not so good smile.

"Caroline?" He asked.

I was shocked.

But I didn't show any emotion.

"Whom you are talking about?" I asked.

"Your girlfriend Mr. Collins. Scarlett. Or Caroline as you call her by the name she hacks with..? The only sister of Brown Brothers??" He said.

No one except Browns and David and Christen knew about our relation and the name Caroline..

Well let's say this is gonna be a long night.
