Taehyung's p.o.v,

We ran out of the cinema hall together and she seemed like as if someone was after us.

But who? Sasaengs?

I didn't want to question. At least not with her hand intertwined in mine. I could not help but smile a little at that. She was so fearless as she was leading the way.

We arrived the parking lot and we stopped, trying to catch our breaths. She was panting and seemed so tired as well.

"So, what's going on?", I finally asked and her eyes widened. She straightened herself up, clearing her throat.

"Um, some sasaengs were on the floor. I didn't want us to get into trouble.", she mumbled, causing me to smile.

"Awn. You saved us. Thank you.", I said genuinely. Our eyes met and her face was so red, which I wasn't sure why. Probably from all the running.

"Snap! Where's Woo Bin? I better call-"

"Don't!", she interrupted me from taking my phone out, which I looked at her wearily. "Don't call him... Let's go. Just you and me...", she bit the insides of her cheeks, face becoming even redder. She couldn't look into my eyes.

My heart skipped a beat hearing that. There was a small silence between us until I chose to make this situation less awkward.

"Sure thing. What do you want to do today?", I asked, a smile plastered on my lips. Her eyes brightened in excitement up and my heart skipped a beat at that.

Kim Taehyung, your cousin likes her!

I shook my head at my inner thoughts.

"You okay?", she asked, worried. "Mhmm. I'm fine...", I said, trailing off.

Should I say no? Ah, but I already agreed!

"But first, I need to contact Woo Bin first. I have my car keys with him.", I said, making up an excuse so that he could follow.

"Let's go with my car! I'll drive", she insisted.

"But-"

"Tae~~~~", she whined, making a pouty face. A cute one. I couldn't resist

I gulped at that, my throat going dry.

"... Okay.", I said and she squealed, smiling so brightly.

"Yes! Gonna be so fun!", she chimed and I let out a small smile.

"Lets get going!", she said as she pulled me by wrist, leading the way.

How can I stop this insane heartbeat inside my chest?

Your p.o.v,

We decided to go to Christmas Markets in Itaewon. It was a risky move to go to a public area with us being celebrities but it should be okay for now.

There wasn't so many people as it was around 3pm ish. The market starts to get crowded only as it gets darker. Plus I had my scarf wrapped around my face and Taehyung had his mask and hoodie on. Should be fine...

It was awfully silent between us as we were walking on the main street. We could hear soft Christmas carols played in the background as we walked pass each stalls. I kept stealing glances at him and Taehyung only had his eyes set onto the front.

I felt really bad for forcing him to go with me. I could clearly see that he was uncomfortable with me being like this.

I'm sorry Tae... I want to confirm your feelings for me first.

"Hey Taehyung!", I called his name and the said man finally looked at me. "Yeah?", he said as he stopped at his tracks.

"Wanna get some peppermint hot chocolate over there?", I asked, pointing at one of the stalls which had a huge signboard "CHOCO CHOCO".

I personally love coffee but Taehyung prefers hot chocolate. And its a christmas thing.

I HAVE TO DO THIS WITH HIM.

"Sure! I'd love to.", he said as his eyes lit up in excitement.

We approached the stall and saw an old woman dressed in Elf attire. She looks so cute!

"Hello. Can we get two medium sized hot chocolates please?", I asked and the lady looked at us with a warm smile.

"Sure thing, loves.", she replied and started preparing our order. Taehyung kept brushing his hands against one another and blew air onto his hands. He seemed cold.

I don't know what kind of confidence flew into me. I had the audacity to grab both of his hands and blew hot air onto his cold hands. I could feel him looking at me with wide eyes but I ignored it. I didn't wanna turn all shy.

When I set out of my house this morning, I had already prepared my mind set. Clearly, Taehyung's not going to make moves on me anymore. So what? I'll do it.

BE BOLD KANG MINHEE.

"Awn~", a voice let out and I let go of his hands to look at the voice's direction. The old lady from before was staring at us with a huge smile, holding our cups.

"Such cuties. Reminds me of my old days with my husband.", she said and I visibly blushed. Thank god. I had my face wrapped in my scarf.

"T-Thanks.", I said taking our orders and handed over one of them to Taehyung who was having a hard time to look straight into my eyes. "How much?", I asked.

"Its 6000₩, my dear.", she said and as I was taking money out of my purse, Taehyung reached forward to pay.

"Here.", he said and I stepped in.

"What are you doing? It's my turn to pay.", I said and he furrowed his brows at me which I let out a sigh because I was sure he wouldn't remember.

"You paid for my meal when we had dinner after my store's opening event... You said I can pay next time...", I mumbled, the shyness in me starting to kick in.

NO!!! NOT NOW!!!

He let out a small chuckle and I looked up to see him actually laughing. I stared at him confusedly.

"Why are you laughing?", I questioned.

There's nothing funny in what I said though.

He stopped laughing and finally looked at me with those amused eyes.

"It's just-", he bit his bottom lip for a split second to stop himself from laughing. "You remember all the small little things. I'm just surprised.", he let out.

"So you mean you don't remem-"

"You need to pay for all my food expenses today, Minhee-si. You promised.", he smiled so charmingly and my heartbeat went insanely fast, cheeks heating up.

It's just a simple sentence but how can it make my heart race like crazy?
