Leo let out a breath and smiled to me.

The Nest was a giant diagonally deep dropped cave in the heart of the mountain. Several balconies out looked the cave and thousands of different holes was carved out all the way up to the topp. Most of the shifting birds stay here and was kept like a base ground for them.

A few birds was soaring thru the air above us in a tight formation. One black eagle dropped from the formation and dove for us. Landing on the grass in front of my feet he shifted to human form.

"Reeeeeex" the black eagle sang out stepping up for a full on hug, lifting me slightly of the ground. For a old man he sure was strong.

"Borris, always good to see you" I patted his back while he still held me "did you get my message?"

"Yeah" he put me lightly down again "Yeah, we are just waiting on you guys"
"Great, this is Leo" I gestured to the boy next to me. "Leo this is Borris, team captain for hunting."

"Leo, good to meet you son!" he held out a hand to my mate and shook it eagerly. "Alright let's just jump to it, you will be flying on the east side with Neo and Silver" he pointed up in the air, pointing them out. "We will stop several times during the flight and fill you in on the details son, so don't you worry." Borris waved a slight godbye to me before shifting to a black eagle again.

"Il see you soon" I gave Leo a quick salute.

bitting his lip he nodded his head bright light followed and with a graceful swich of the wing he turned into a beautiful golden hawk. His transformation never seize to amaze me, he shifted so fast, bright like fire licking him up, transforming him.

Following their formation Leo soared up and up and out of the cave, and again out of my reach.
