To Adelaide,

Fancy underage drinking. On me. Well the bartender.

From Damon.

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ๐ด๐ท๐ธ๐ฟ๐ด๐ผ๐ท๐ธ stared at the text message from Damon, chuckling at the end. Elijah and her had just made it back to his car so she asked him to drop her off at the Grill instead of the Boarding House. She knew Damon had only done what he had done because he loved Elena and she could understand that he probably regretted it deeply now, so she decided she wouldn't stay completely angry with him. And besides, he was letting her drink underage. She definitely need a drink. Or several.

She walked into the Grill after Elijah had dropped her off, and was quick to spot the back of Damon's head. She sent Matt a small smile as she passed him, making her way to Damon. She pulled a stood out from under the bar and sat down beside him, letting out a small huff.

"Here you go." Damon handed her a glass half filled with what smelled like bourbon.

"Thank you." She was quick to gulp it down, the burn not really affecting her.

"Woah, little bird, not so quick." Damon dryly chuckled. "What would Elena say if I got you drunk?"
"I have never been drunk Damon. And I have to admit that I have drunk a lot in the past. Never seem to be able to get even tipsy though." She explained, patting his shoulder slightly before leaning her head on it.

"Do you think she'll ever forgive me?" He asked the girl beside him.

"I think she already has. Deep down, she could never hate you." Adelaide explained softly to him, being truthful.

"Yeah, well, it sure didn't seem like it." Damon rolled his eyes as he ordered another drink for the both of them.
"I'll have the same." Adelaide knew it was Alaric by the sound of his voice. He took the seat beside Damon as the bartender went to get them three bourbons.

"I screwed up." He told Alaric, staring straight forward.

"Yeah." Alaric nodded, not disagreeing with him. "Yeah, you did."

"Gentlemen? Miss Gilbert?" Adelaide felt her whole body freeze as a familiar voice filled her ears. It was him. The guy from her visions. She was sure of it. Alaric and Damon shared a glance as they both sat up straighter, more alert. "Why so glum?" They all turned to see who they all assumed was Klaus standing beside Damon at the bar.

"Ugh." Damon groaned while Adelaide avoided eye contact with Klaus as her own went wide. She swore her heart rate increased to the point where it could be heard by humans.

"Klaus, I presume." Damon acknowledged.

"In the flesh." Just his accent sent shivers down her spine. This was the guy who was about to use her in a sacrifice and kill her sister in the same sacrifice. "Thanks for the loaner, mate." He thanked Alaric, his face showing an expression of amusement from his taunting.

"Any reason you stopped by to say hi?" Damon snapped as he stood up from the bar stool, glaring at Klaus.

"I'm told you and your brother fancy my doppelgรคnger. Just thought I'd remind you to not do anything you'll regret." Klaus informed Damon.

"Ha." Damon sarcastically laughed, "thanks for you advice."
"I don't suppose I could talk you into a postponement, by any chance, huh?" Adelaide tried to hide the smile that fell upon her lips at Damon's words.

"You are kidding. He is kidding, right?" Klaus chuckled before turning to look at Adelaide and Alaric.

"I'm afraid not." Adelaide said.
"No, not really." Alaric also shook his head at the same time. Adelaide downed bourbon in the glass which was refilled that she had just been handed by the bartender. She placed the glass down before looking up to Damon and Klaus. She couldn't believe her eyes. Klaus was officially the hottest and most handsome person she had ever seen. He had bright blue eyes and a smirk that was to die for. He had sandy brown hair which was slightly curled and his dimples made her cheeks tint red. He was the definition of good looking. He sent her a smirk as if able to read her thoughts but she was pretty sure vampires couldn't do that.

"I mean, come on, what's one month more in the grand scheme of things." Damon tried to persuade Klaus but he knew Klaus wouldn't agree to his offer anyway.

"Let me be clear - I have my vampire. I have my werewolf. I have everything I need. The ritual will happen tonight. So if you want to live to see tomorrow, don't screw it up." Klaus warned Damon in a low threatening tone. He glared at Damon before turning towards Adelaide, taking a step towards her however Damond stepped in his way, blocking her from his sights. Klaus chuckle before grabbing Damon's hand and bending his wrist back, making sure he wasn't noticed by anyone. Damon groaned in pain as Klaus walked in front of Adelaide.

"It was a pleasure to meet you Adelaide. I'll see you tonight, my love." Klaus picked her hand up and placed a gentle kiss on the back of it, his eyes looking into hers while his lips lingered for a few seconds before he pulled away. He sent her a smile, his dimples making her heart flutter and then he was off. Dropping her hand softly, he backed away before glaring at Damon and turning around to walk out of the Grill.

"That was strange." Alaric commented, watching as Adelaide stared after Klaus.

"Hmmm," she jumped turning back to Alaric as Damon huffed, snapping his wrist back into place as he slid back down onto the stool.

"That was fun." He rolled his eyes.

"You're going to screw up, aren't you?" Alaric predicted, already knowing what Damon was going to do.

"You think if I take his werewolf out of the equation she might... get over the fact that I tired to turn her into a vampire?" Damon asked, already having a plan forming in his head. Find the where Klaus was keeping the werewolf and vampire before freeing them. Simple.

"I think it won't matter, because you'll be dead." Alaric inquired, not too sure on his drinking buddies plan.

"But without the werewolf, he can't perform the ritual tonight, which means I would have bought her one month before the next full moon." Damon shrugged as if it was that simple.

"But you'll still be dead." Adelaide commented, looking at him worriedly.
"Are you gonna help me or what?" Damon asked Alaric while Adelaide downed her third drink, not even feeling the slightest bit buzzed whatsoever.

"What do you want me to do?" Alaric asked him, caving in and agreeing.

"I'm in." Adelaide added as she slammed Damon's glass down having just drank his as well.

"What?" Damon and Alaric both turned to look at her.

"I'm in." She related confidently.

"No. No, you're not." Damon shook his head.

"Come on Damon. I can help. I'm not about to sit and let my sister be turned into a vampire. Not when she doesn't want to be turned." Adelaide spoke up, not leaving any room for debates as she leaned over to grab Alaric's drink before downing it and standing up, ready to leave.

"I'm driving." She cheered as she managed to sneakily grab Damon's keys. She walked out of the Grill, both Damon and Alaric sharing a glance before sighing and following the girl out to Damon's car.
