Shadow told himself he would not rest until you were safe with him..

Shadow felt very guilty about saying that he'd kill you after Sonic promised you that they would never hurt you.

You kept running without knowing where you were going. At last you couldn't run anymore and you stopped to breath for a second. You had your hands on your knees inhaling and exhaling. Your head had sweat from all of the running, your legs felt weak from running for so long, and you felt dizzy from the lack of water.

You looked up to find yourself by the flower field. It looked very different in the moonlight. You walked deep into the field and just felt relieved to be in a place that you loved as a kid. As you went deeper and deeper into the field, you saw something in the distance covered in vines and flowers. As you pushed your way through the flowers and tall grass it was a beautiful white gazebo. You walked on to it and looked around and touched one of the boards. As you walked over to the edge of the gazebo you looked up at the sky and sighed in relief.

~•Back with Shadow and Sonic•~

"Where could she be damn it?!" Shadow screamed at himself.

"Shadow hey calm down for a second.. She couldn't have gone far.." Sonic said while putting his index finger and his thumb on his muzzle.

"Damn.. I really messed up this time.. " Shadow said while turning his head.

"Hey! Come on Shadow! It's ok-" Sonic was cut off.

"Shhh! I'm thinking... " Shadow said while turning his head and thinking really hard.

There was a moment of silence for about a minute or two before Shadow spoke again.

"I have a feeling I know where she is.. But I'm going alone." Shadow said with a stern look.

As you sat there in silence enjoying the night gave you, all the sound you heard was the chirping crickets which relaxed you in a way. You felt like you had nothing to worry about in the sense of being alone.

You closed your eyes and started to inhale and exhale very slowly. But as you did that you heard footsteps nearing you. You got up fast and looked behind you only to find, Shadow.

"Thought I'd find you out here.. " Shadow said while walking towards you.

"What do you want... Go away I don't wanna see you.. " You said turning away from him and giving him attitude.

Your body felt cold as there was a sudden breeze. You had chills running down your spine and your hair was blown out of your face and now flowing in the wind.

Shadow came up to you and stood behind you.

"Hey (Y/N)..? I'm sorry... About what I said. " Shadow said while folding his arms.

"Go away.. " You said while getting up and walking away.

Shadow grabbed your wrist and pulled you into a warm embrace.

"Listen (Y/N)... I'm so sorry.. I've hurt you and I never meant to.. It's just that I need to get back home and it's just to much for me.. " Shadow said while hugging you tighter.

You stood there just letting this happen.

As you let Shadow hug you like this you started to cry into his shoulder.
